Might rub your heel at first but it goes away. Pretty comfortable for a flat shoe. I machine washed mine several times with no issues.

Still breaking them in, she has bandaids on her heels

For at 5.5 it kinda feels like a 6

Got these in the camo check and they are awesome! I was a little worried with the Authentic that the opening (no padding like other styles) would rub the bottom of my ankle bone but they ended up fine. Also enough room in here for an orthotic so no problem there. I‘ve been an avid Vans wearer since the early 90s so a little biased ;) Secret tip for keeping white rubber white – nail polish remover.

My teenage daughter loves these shoes. They are stylish and comfortable. They go with so many of her clothing options that I'm very glad I spent the money for them.

I love Vans! I’ve worn Vans for years and had a pair just like this in high school and they fit just the same! I teach PE and love to wear these to school! 2 of my students (who happen to be twins) wore theirs the same day I did....so we had to take a photo!

My son loves these shoes. I occassionally send him a couple of new pairs in various colors and they are always a big hit. He wears them to work and for school. They hold up well and are very comfortable.

Lovely classic shoe. I have big, high toes and there was not enough toe box room for me. My toenails hit the top of the shoe. This is often a problem for me but for people with normal feet, it seems like and excellent shoe. Unfortunately I had to return it. I am happy that it is still possible to find good sneakers without chemical treatments.

These shows are not only fashionable, but functional too. Whether your skating around or just chilling, these kicks can pull it off. While these flats are comfortable, arch support suffers a bit. The first thing that will go on these shoes is the laces, followed closely by the insoles.

Great shoes. Size is as indicated, fits well, feels well and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Timeless classic. I got these for my 12 year old daughter and she loves them. It was hard to pry her out of her Osiris's but she wanted a cool sneaker she could wear in the summer so I turned her onto my go to kicks I've been wearing since I was her age. They fit her true to size, don't slip in the heel like some shoes do and they go with everything...shorts, clam diggers, sundresses, jeans, you name it. She loves them, never complains about her feet being tired when I have to drag her around shopping (so they saved my life too). Vans for life!

I love Vans. So much. The neon yellow is so crazy and fun I had to have them! I always get compliments when I wear them. They are comfy and they will definitely make you happy!

Vans is a brand that guarantees comfort and the best quality. Sizing is always accurate. Vans Authentic is definitely my favorite shoe.
