While the style is nice, I find these shoes to be really uncomfortable, poorly fitted, and with sloppy manufacturing. First, the size. Others have commented that they run small. I got a size larger than I normally wear because of this but that's not enough. The tops of my feet are going numb because they're so tight. Yet somehow my heels feel like they're coming out while I'm walking. I've never had shoes that were so tight in the middle yet so loose in the heel. I keep having to pull my socks up because its causing them to bunch up at the heel. For the money I would expect better quality manufacturing but these seem like they were put together by the new guy on the team. Extra glue that has leaked way up above the sole. So much that its clear they used too much. Stuffing that has been improperly sewn into the tongue. It's just sloppy. I'm really unhappy with this purchase and will be returning them immediately.

Another satisfied customer - This is an excellent shoe. The quality is more than I expected, but they were a half size larger and a bit narrower than expected. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone who likes Keen shoes.

I was looking for a replacement of the Salomon snow clogs that are no longer made, which I wore for many winters for their aggressive tread.After much search I found these, a very similar suede slip-on, same thick sole that insulates you from the cold ground. although the tread lacks the monster jagged teeth of the Salomon, they passed the slippery slope test both for mud and now today ice. They have been super comfortable from day one, fine to go for a walk in and easy to forget that they're even on in the house. I'm not wild about the way the liner reinforcing the toe box is starting to show its outline after only a few weeks wear, but its not so important compared to what is good about these. Still the question how well will these last, they were really low priced. I have read many comments by people who loved the Salomon snow clog and were upset not to be able to get them anymore. I hope some of them find these. They aren't with winter boots and a search for a snow clog won't turn them up but I've used a silicone spray on mine and wear them with heavy wool socks and they are fitting the bill.

I have owned five pairs of Ropers. I use them for casual dress and casual with jeans. After a while Michigan weather is rough I use them for everyday running around. Then for garage work, yard work you name it they last a long time. Only issue is when I stocked up on them three years ago I paid much less. Now they are selling the same pair for much more what is up with that!

I work in a hospital...on my feet all day. Needed more support than a sneaker and some protection. I am on my third pair in 6 years. The outside of the shoe hasn't worn out at all. The inside finally wore out after very heavy use. The soles are great. I still have my first pair because the sole doesn't look like it has been worn. I heavily recommend these shoes for almost anything except a formal affair.

This is the third pair of these shoes I've owned, thanks to Zappos, where I can purchase what is already working, vs. any other shoe store where I have to make a decision and hope it was right. Top materials and craftsmanship, PLUS THE THICKER SOLE MAKES ME TALLER!

I bought these shoes on whim at a trade show and Wow, I couldn't believe the comfort! I have short wide feet with bunions and these shoes are so comfy and look great. I am on my feet 12+ hours a day and I have not taken my shoes off since. They feel like slippers. I will buy again!

Hubbles likes these just fine. They fit his orthotics and have lots of room for toe movement when walking. He would purchase these again.

I wear an 11 or 10.5 W depending on the shoe, but an 11 in this was way too tight. No room for my foot (in a thin sock) to breathe.

I am diabetic and have to be careful about my feet. I have these in the medium brown and black. My job entails a lot of standing and walking, and these are my shoes of choice. I often wear pants, weather jeans or dress, and the smooth finish looks good with them. They are a little heavy, but the stability it gives me in walking is definitely worth the extra weight. I have had these same shoes for several years, but I am not hard on shoes. I wear the men's shoes, but I am a woman.
