The look - They were a gift for my girlfriend. They look very nice on her but they are a little to tight in the ankle area so they need to be stretched.

Best birthday present ever - At first they were not very comfortable but I find with Timberland in particular it's like that.. they are a little narrow but after 2 weeks of straight wear they fit like a glove. Sexy boots.. great with eveerything.

These boots are great looking and comfortable for all-day wear. They look good with jeans tucked in and short skirts. If you wear the jeans out, they look western. I normally wear a 9.5 so I ordered a 9 after looking at the reviews. I sent those back b/c they were too big, especially long in the toes, and got an 8.5, which is unheard of for me. I have a pretty narrow foot so that could be the problem. Anyway, I love them and get plenty of compliments.

Comfy! I'm normally a high heel person, and it pained me to admit that I needed a practical boot for the winter. However, these boots proved to be fabulous--they're extremely comfortable, and even managed to fit (after a bit of a struggle) around my 16" calves. The only problem is that they are rather long in the foot. I know people have been recommending ordering a half size up, but when I did so, the width fit, but my feet look huge. Just a thought. I'm keeping them anyway because they have such a perfect blend of style and comfort.

I just received my boots today, and unfortunately, I had to send them right back. I am a size ten, but have a wide foot, so I ordered a size 11 M. The fit was way too long in the toes, and narrow through the ankle. Also, the boots did not seem to be normal knee-high length, more like just above mid-calf. However, they are good looking boots, and seemed comfortable despite the improper fit.

Hot boots - I just got these boots today, put them on, and fell in love with the look. They are a little long in the toes, but they fit the best of any low-heeled boots I've tried on this year, especially around the calves. I think I'm going to wear these out!

Beautiful, but tight and narrow - I don't normally have a problem fitting shoes, but I could barely get these on my feet! And sadly, once I did, they were slightly long in the toes... making breaking in not worth it for me. It was a major disapointment, because they look better in person than in the picture. But I wanted to warn any other shoppers -- if you haven't tried Timberland in person, make sure you're ready for a slim, tight instep!

Tight fit - I own at least 3 pairs of Timberland boots (all 7.5) and was shocked that this pair didn't fit. Also disappointed. Very tight in the ankle and toe box. Gorgeous look but unwearable with the fit as is. Have to decide if I want to try an 8 or go for another style.

Shaft is too narrow! Not for women with wider calves. I was unable to put the boot on without unbuckling the lower buckle. The zipper went well below the buckle. Then, it wouldn't zip up over my calf. I don't consider myself a large calved person, but this was verrryy slim. The top buckle is purely decorative.

How the? These boots look great. They are suede and very well made, but the fit is weird. I have narrow small feet and thin ankles and I had to struggle to get my foot in the zippered area. On top of that there is a strap that is across the foot that needs to be strapped and unstrapped... too much work and tough to put on... cute though. They went back.

Too tight - I have fairly narrow feet, but a high arch. These shoes were VERY long - I wear an 8 and the 8 felt long in the toes, but was so tight across the ankle/arch I wasn't sure I could have gone smaller...too bad, they seem like great quality.

I am so disappointed in these boots. I love Timberlands and I have been lusting over these boots for a month. I finally purchased them only to discover that they are narrow in the foot and they DO NOT zip up over my very average size calves.
