I ordered the Rootbeer Leather Mid Cats and this Cat is unlike any other...there's no backing compared to past Cats. I have three other pairs of Cats and they all lock the ankle in and feel like you have a pillow around your foot. This pair skimps on the back padding and then there you have it. If you liked Cats for their comfort, don't take a bum steer and get the Rootbeer leather (I can't speak for any of the other styles they have now, they may be different).

Comfortable. Quality is average. They start to look really worn in about a week by just walking in them.

Standard iPaths. Comfortable and true to size. Love these shoes. Didn't have my size originally but shipped me the right size as soon as it came in and I returned the originals with no problem.

On a scale of 1 to 10, these shoes are the greatest shoe ever. Over the last four years I've owned 4 different pairs of these shoes. Ipath did a good a job on the Cats. They've been making this same shoe for quite some time now and I have a feeling they're going to keep them around for a while. Great shoe, can't beat the comfort and they're styled for every dress occasion. I definitely recommend this shoe. I've owned a lot of shoes, and these ones top the list of the best.

I love these shoes, I have sought so many Hemp Ipaths in just about every color, this is my first fossil color one. They even have a green corduroy one if you can find it! The hemp lasts a very long time, it is 100 percent Vegan and totally worth the money!

I manage the Men's Footwear department of a G.H. Bass & Co. shoe store, and I take anywhere from 12,500 to 14,500 steps in an eight hour shift. For all the strain I put on them, these were excellent working & walking shoes. The insole's flatness, and the rise of the toe (as well as the great outsole) are cohesive. This makes for a great wear. The only downside lies in the materials used. I purchased the Hemp variant of the style. They didn't hold up too well in wet winter (very absorbent), though they were fine for the cold. As far as warm weather goes, it's not a great shoe due to the minimal ventilation (two quarter-inch holes above the outsole). After three months, the threads of my left shoe have frayed, revealing the under layer. This is no surprise though, with all of the working and walking I've done in these guys. I'm very satisfied with my purchase -- the traditional desert boot look attracted much praise, and the bedding made for a comfortable wear. Its subtle blue goes with many deep -- and even fair -- hues. Five stars.

These shoes are very comfortable and looked great on my feet. I have been wearing them barely 3 months and the outside fabric is falling off the shoe. I am a student in college and am not hard on my shoes, just regular wearing. I would not recommend these shoes. They look terrible now.

So far so good! These shoes are warm, dry and well fitting. A bit on the expensive side, but that opinion can change if they last more than one season of regular wear.

The sherpa is starting to wear already at the top of shoe after only 10 days of wearing. Disappointed in the quality of sherpa by ankle.

This is the sixth or seventh pair of Ipath Cats my boys have ordered from Zappos. My boys have wide and long feet (size 13w-14w) and we find that the 13 regular in the 'Cat' style fits them well, with plenty of width and length. Not all styles of Ipaths fit the same, but we've been very happy with the look and feel of the Cats.

I bought this shoe for my son. He loves them. Very comfortable and stylish! Fits true to size and Zappos has the best customer service! I originally ordered the wrong size, and received the correct size a day after receiving the first pair!

Great looking shoe and comfortable. I'v received lots of complements. My only complaint is I live in Calgary Alberta and the shoes shipped from the States. Which took a little longer then expected.

These are probably the most comfortable shoes I've had in a very long while. They took a couple of days to break in because of the arch support, but all and all they are very comfortable.

I have always heard about Zappos next day service, so I really looked forward to getting these shoe the next day but didn't receive them for a week. I love the way these shoe look. I put them on and from the other reviews that I had read I ordered a size bigger 16 because everyone said they ran small. I think they run true to size. I wear an orthotic and with that in there they fit perfectly. I haven't had these shoes two months and the seam that runs around the shoe has come undone and is starting to look horrible. I am going to try and cut them off and see how that works out. Out of 5 overall I give this shoe 2.5.

Stylish, comfortable, pockets. Overall a great shoe. However they have significantly less arch support than my old Lakais.

I am a female with wide feet so Women\'s shoes do not fit me well. I purchased these shoes last year and they fit great. You need some time to break them in but they are super comfortable and I even think they look great. Beats wearing a tennis shoe.

Overall great shoe. I like the classic design (looks almost like a boot) and chukka style. Shoes are also very comfortable, even for long walks. Would definitely recommend. P.S. As always, Zappos service was more than commendable; they even upgraded my shipping from 3 to 2 days.
