Kids will LOVE 'em! Purchased this fun shoe for my six-year-old, soon to be seven, son. He just loves these shoes and feels totally cool wearing them. Skate ability does take some time to get used too, though. With practice and adult assistance, kids will be skating/walking in no time! Very important-order whole size above the child's normal size~ These run SMALL! Outstanding delivery time and customer service Zappos! Love this site!!!

Heelys - My son loves his new Heelys. The first day he did not know how to skate on them but by the 3rd day he was a pro. He says they are comfortable and look "cool".

Great shoe, lots of fun! This shoe is very durable and looks great for a long time. It's comfortable and it's great fun.

Cool but not cool to stand in all day - Cool shoes. Takes awhile to get used to the skating part. Not comfortable to stand in or walk in a long time. Flat bottoms do not move with your feet.

Cute shoe - I bought this for my 5 year sold son. It is a little difficult for him to figure out, but I didn't expect him to catch on right away, after all he is 5. He loves them and hopefully will be able to enjoy the wheels when he feels more comfortable. Zappos was correct in saying buy a shoe size larger for the kids, he normally wears a 1 I bought a 2 and it fits perfect.

Heelys a Hit - Definitely a well-made, quality shoe. My grandson loves them. Definitely buy at least 1/2 size to size bigger than normal size. Remember than your child's school may not allow them as they can be dangerous.

My Grandson LOVES This Shoe! My 8 year old grandson was really forward to finding a pair of Heelys. Unfortunately we were unable to find his size in this area. Zappos saved the day. The customer service rep spoke to me and encouraged me to buy a size larger than he wears and Bingo; it is perfect.

Great shoe - My son loved his first pair of Heelys (double wheel). I was tentative, at first, when buying these because they have a single wheel on each shoe. He's only 6 and skated so well with his first pair. Much to my surprise, he did very well with these too! He loves them, and doesn't like wearing any other type of shoe. The fit is definitely smaller compared with his other shoes. He's normally a 1 or 1 1/2, but I purchased a size 3 for him, and it looks/seems like a good fit.

These shoes are a sweet ride! My nine year old son loves these shoes. They are not too complicated to switch from wheels to plugs, and are a blast to ride. He got the pose within one hour and has been jetting around ever since. I tried them on too, and had no problem figuring it out myself, an old grownup. They're awesome!! They do run small, so believe it when they say to size up. And Zappos.com is the bomb with customer service and speed!

Great pair of shoes with wheels or without - My son loves his Heelys! He practices every day after school as they can't wear the wheels to school. But the supports that fill in the holes where the wheels go are just as durable as if they were part of the sole.

First time best experience ever... For the first time I purchased a shoe online for my child who has CP and the people at Zappos were great. They even sent me another size (2 youth) to compare with the original size 1 youth. Because of my child’s condition, his feet are different sizes. This was great. We kept size 1 and he is still working on the Heelys and trying to master them. I’m sure he'll get it. Thanks Zappos for your incredible help and for having free shipping! I gave comfort a 4 because the shoe is a bit heavy even without the wheels.

Fun shoe, but son scared - Awesome shoe, my son had to have it! Now he hardly wears it because he is afraid of the skating aspect! Maybe that will change soon!

Sons LOVED these shoes! I bought these Heelys for my 10 year old twin boys; the Heelys "Vapor", in Navy/White/Light Gray and in White/Light Gray/Lime Green, last year, at the start of the school year. They LOVED them! They help up pretty well, for several months. You do need to order a ½ to a full size larger than shoe size. In addition, shoes are very heavy & VERY stiff (they have to be stiff, due to the “wheeling”). If you have the luxury of buying your child two pairs of tennis shoes, then I would advise it. Due to their weight & stiffness, these are difficult to wear for everyday activities, like for P.E., or for any running activities. There was no way I could talk my boys out of them, though. In addition, they absolutely LOVED “Heely-ing” around, especially to, & from school. I also bought the Heely’s “Atomic” for my 12 year old, in Red/Black/White, last year, at the start of the school year, as well. He LOVED them, too; again, very stiff and heavy. The "Vapors" did not hold up as well as the "Atomics.”

Fun for the kids - After contemplating buying knock-offs I finally decided to buy real Heelys for my 5- and 7-year olds despite the pricey cost. The kids love them. My 7-year old is a whiz while my 5-year old is still getting the hang of them. I wish they had velcro instead of shoe laces for my 5-year old. Zappos, of course, was excellent, and their free shipping really made up my mind to buy them. Also, I bought a style my 7-year old can wear and then hand down to the 5-year old. Heelys are not cheap but they are good shoes and Zappos is great!

Nice but expensive - These were a great gift but they are so expensive for a kid whose shoe size changes monthly. I hope someone comes up with a decent alternative.

Child loves them - My son's feet measured slightly over 4.5, and normally I would've ordered a size 5 shoe, but the comments said to order a size bigger. So, I ordered a 6 when really I should've ordered the 5 (no half sizes). While they are a little big, he would not part with them to allow me to send them back, and he has not gotten any blisters or anything. The Heelys website actually recommends ordering a size larger too so that they will grow into them. As far as the "heeling", he learned how to do it by holding onto the kitchen counter for a day and a half then he was "heeling" all over the place. He wears them everywhere, even to school (without the wheels). Be careful in stores because some of them have banned "heeling" in the store. I would buy these again since my son loves them so much.

Must Have Shoes - Shoes are a must have for pre-teens where we live. Must have coordination to wear them. Style is old school with pink/white checkers. My daughter loves them.

Great shoe - We love the shoes! My son lost one of the wheels already, so I guess my only complaint would be that for the amount of money that they cost, I think they should come with an extra pair of wheels.

Heelys review - Product was as expected. We had looked at some in a shoe store before we purchased online. Shipping was outstanding. Product arrived in a day and a half which made my son very happy! We appreciated the hint to buy one size up from the normal shoe size as we had found this to be the case when we tried the shoes on at the shoe store. Price was $20.00 less than the shoe store.

Son loves them - My son loves these shoes. It took him a few bumps & bruises to get used to them. Trying to "walk" in them seems to be a challenge all its own. They are easy to clean & after checking many web sites Zappos is the best value. My son has a wide foot & they fit great.

Great Heelys - These look just like the picture and are just as described on the site. I just wish the sizes are true to size and don't understand why they can't be made that way. The site correctly advises to order larger than normal to accommodate this flaw.
