I loved that there was a replacement insole available. However, it was pretty difficult getting the original ones out. Once the replacements were in, they felt too narrow. My foot could feel the under edge of the replacement.

The insoles work well enough, I just thought they'd be nicer and not flatten out so quickly given that they aren't super cheap. I'm only saying that I would recommend them to a friend because it beats buying another pair of these ridiculously overpriced, not-great-quality boots. I will never buy UGGS again--they just can't stand up to a commuter's wear and tear.

I wear my UGGs only when the weather is very cold. Because my boots are not those for which the replacement insole was designed, they were inserted over the insole already there. The result is an arch that is too high and that is not comfortable.

I had a pair of the inserts for another pair of my UGGs and loved them and was excited to buy them for my very loved/worn pair of Classic Short and was disappointed to find the inserts would not fit. It seems as if something could be arranged for people to use the inserts in all pairs of UGGs.

Not great, but good.
They are a fairly good liner. Soft enough, but don't think they will be as soft and cushy as the inside of the UGG boot. Even after peeling off the 'heel' riser, they are still on the thick side and will take up a lot of room in your boot or shoe, making for an overly tight fit.
They do keep your feet dry if you opt for no socks.

While quite comfortable, they do not work well as replacement for the Ugg slippers. Also, when you order either 6 or 7, please note that you get the same replacement, so they are too large for the 6 regular Ugg boots.

Ugg's Insole Replacement -
I’ve bought four pairs of fleece-lined boots from Zappos and have replaced half of their insoles. The Ugg insole replacements are well constructed and fit in the boots just right except for one thing: the boots must go through a long period of re-break-in since the new insoles make the boot too tight across the top of my foot now. After two years or so of ownership, my boots were perfectly stretched/worn in, so I’m complaining a little. I wish they'd just back the fleece with plain leather or something as thin as possible. I still have Zappos to thank for my boots and the liners and nothing can steal my zeal for Zappos.

Too big and thick!
Wow, these sure are big! I got them intending to put them in my Dansko clogs - my bright idea, I thought I could make a hybrid. No deal. My Danskos are size 39 narrow, so I ordered size 8 insoles. The insoles were WAY bigger than the shoes, wouldn't go in at all. I had thought I could just cut them down to size, but they're stitched around the edges so that's not possible. I tried them in my Ugg La Jollas (size 8) and they went in but didn't leave much room for my feet. Same with my Blundstones. Oh well - they're REALLY soft and cushy and do feel wonderful underfoot. I'm sure they're be a great fix for old Uggs of the same size.

The sheepskin was UGG quality but they were too narrow and my foot fell off from side to side.

I bought the insoles to replace the worn-out ones on a pair of UGGs slippers from last year. I brought them to my shoemaker to have them glued in properly. Unfortunately, this created what feels like an extra high arch. I love my Ugg slippers so i had to buy a new pair after spending the money on the liners plus the shoemaers fee!!

Most of the Ugg products do not have removable insoles anymore. This is tragic. The insoles have become less soft over the years. Also tragic.

Furry yes - cushy no. Fits in Uggs boots - no. What I needed was extra padding...these aren't what I expected. I did expect they would fit into Ugg boots - wrong again. Disappointing.

These insoles were purchased for a pair of UGG slip-on flats. They are too thick and render the shoe uncomfortable.

I needed new fur on the bottom of my slippers. All the rest of the slipper is fine, but the fur wore out on the inside bottom. This slipper is an open-backed slipper. I could not find a replacement specifically for this slipper so I purchased the boot insert.
It works just ok. The bottoms of my feet are now cushioned, but the inserts are too big, even though I purchased the same size as my slipper. One of them keeps sliding back or out of the slipper.
I am continually having to push it back in. I am going to glue it in place and hope this holds it .
I would not recommend this insert for use in anything other than a boot. The quality is fine and is not my issue. But if you need to replace the bottom fur of your slipper you might try going a half to full size smaller.

This insole is thicker and has more arch support than the original Ugg insoles. The problem is that it renders the boot/shoe too small to wear comfortably. Even downsizing a size did not help me because the thickness of the insole was the same as the larger insole. It may work for boots that have stretched a lot but didn't work for me. Ugg needs to produce a thinner replacement insole.

I wore my UGG slippers all the time around the house. After about a year, the inside wore out so I ordered replacement inserts. I ordered the same size as the slippers. Unfortunately, the inserts were longer than the slippers and caused the slippers to fit too tightly. Even if it fit properly, the insert was constantly sliding out, which was extremely annoying.

I've bought several pairs of these over the years and once you place them into your boots it feels like you've bought a brand new pair of Uggs! However I was extremely disappointed in my last purchase. I bought two sets -- one as a gift for my sister for the holidays and one for myself. They both came in different packaging, with mine saying "made in China." I had read previously that some Uggs products were being made in China which is disappointing but I didn't assume they were counterfeit or anything. But I will say that the quality is SO much worse than any pair of replacement insole I've bought in the past. Not cushy or "snuggly" at all. It barely felt as though I'd just put a new insole in at all. Very sad by the drop in quality. My sister's were much better. So it seems like you have a 50/50 chance in getting a good set.

I recently (last week) ordered a pair of Chickaree slippers and the wool lining was so sparse that I ordered a pair of insoles right away to either replace the current insoles or place on top of them for more fill. When the insoles arrived today, I was shocked. They are not soft and plush like the ones I ordered a couple years ago, but thin and sparse. I wish I could post pics with the review; the new insoles' pile is half the thickness of the ones I bought a couple years ago and feels 'rough' in comparison.
Let me say that I'm not difficult to please, either. I bought a different pair of Dakotas a week or two ago, and the pile is nice and thick, the way you expect Uggs to be. The difference in feel is ah-mazing. I LOVE my plush Dakotas, but the struggle to find Uggs of comparable quality is real; even the insoles are pathetic, or at least these are. I'm thinking of taking this up with Ugg directly; Zappos shouldn't have to pay return shipping for Ugg's poor quality.

It doesn't fit into any of my shoes abd I feel like I wasted my money because I lost the return slips to get a different size to see if it even made a difference. I gave them away to someone else just because I had no use for them. I am disappointed and upset with myself and the effort I put into getting them.

I HAVE THEM IN MY KEDS AND WEAR THEM FOR FOR AN HOUR OR TWO HOPING THAT THE BULK WILL GO DOWN ENOUGH TO BE COMFORTABLE. I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN I FIND WHETHER IT WORKS OR NOT.
THE SHOES I BOUGHT THEM FOR ARE TOO NARROW. I REALLY WANT THESE TO WORK. I HAVE A LOT OF PAIN ON THE BOTTOM OF MY FEET.

I love my UGG slippers, and the innersoles wore down to a shiny bare surface. So I ordered these replacements to re-line the slippers. There didn't seem to be a way to remove the original innersoles, so I slipped these in on top. As a result of both pair in the shoe, the slippers became so tight that they are unwearable, even as I tried to "pack down" the new innersoles. If I can't find a shoe repair person who can pry out the original innersoles, then I'm afraid the slippers are lost to an un-fixable place. So if you are planning to replace the innersoles, look first to see if the original innersoles are removeable, or else you may be better off buying a new pair of UGGs. (My old pair of UGGs look pristine--just like new--and it will be sad if I have to discard them for lack of a fix.) (Note: the Star rating of this product does not reflect the quality of this product: the product is great except that it doesn't work with the shoes.)

These insoles came from California with no Ugg name on them, so I'm not sure these are even genuine. They also don't fit my slippers and I had to smash them in there and try to mash them down. Almost 2 weeks later, they finally fit. If that's always the case, they should say so b/c I almost returned them. In fact, I still might. I keep walking right out of the back of my ankle on the left slipper with these.
