These Capezio canvas-leather shoes are high quality and just as described, but buyers should know they fit quite small in size. Often size 5 for me can almost be too large--I have to be careful of a size 5, but these are on the small side and a person might even want to order 1/2 size larger.

Capezio Jazz - Ordering the size 1 1/2 sizes larger than street shoe was perfect fit. The uncushioned heel takes a little bit of getting used to.

Split sole digs into sole of foot - This shoe looks great, and if you're dancing the entire time you're wearing them, you'll be fine. But if you're wearing them in a show where you also stand a lot, these are uncomfortable for standing. The part of the sole under my heel digs right into my heel and is painful. When I'm dancing, it's fine, but before and after dancing, I'm standing. I read the reviews before buying them and ordered them a full size larger and wider than I normally wear and they fit perfectly. They also look fabulous, and make my toes look wondrously pointed!

Good dance shoe - I found them a little on the snug side for a wide but I expect they'll give in time. I was disappointed with the so-called canvas part of the shoe. Some odd man-made fabric that felt like it was spun from plastic. I would have much preferred actual canvas for the breathability. Nice looking but I was hoping for a dance shoe for the warmer weather.

Great Jazz Shoes! Speedy delivery! My daughter had to get jazz shoes, for the next week and I placed my order at about 9:00PM and got them the next day! Great Service! Shoes run narrow, so we got a wide, but overall, they are very comfortable.

Capezio Jazz shoe - It took me a long time to get the sizing right for this shoe. Normally, I wear a woman's size eight; however, I had to size up one full size in these shoes. Great for dance practice and comfortable.

Comfort counts - I think these shoes are great. The comfort for working in them in amazing. They do look a little goofy, but, that may improve as they adjust with wear.

Not true to size - The shoe is fine, the problem is the sizing. My daughter's street shoes are a size 3 and we ended up having to get a size 6 (after 3 exchanges which Zappos was WONDERFUL).

Sizes run super small - I ordered my street size as recommended and this shoe is extremely small. The 7.5 looks more like a size 6 to me and won't even go onto my foot. However if you can get the correct size it looks nice and is comfortable.

Shoes are much smaller than actual shoe size. I ordered 1/2 size up and could have used an extra 1/2 size. On the bright side, if you can get the size right, the flexibility and ability to turn are wonderful.

I was surprised to discover that I prefer the Capezio dance sneaker over this leather jazz shoe in my jazz class. The sneaker has more support, but is just as flexible as the lighter shoe.

A funky looking shoe - I wanted a light shoe for tai chi. This fits that requirement. I took the advice of other reviews and ordered 2 sizes larger. A snug fit, but not too tight. Unfortunately, the shoe on my right foot gapped on the outside in the canvas area between the toe and heel. The shoe on my left foot fit perfectly, but that is because it is still swollen from ankle surgery some months ago. I couldn't accept the look of the gap, so I returned the shoes.

Pretty good, do not like the new style - I liked the old style better. It was frustrating trying to find what "new" size I was after the change. Also, the new style has a smaller area on the ball of the foot than before. Less room so it wears out quicker. Also, they use a new pad in the bottom of the shoe and part of it comes up and annoys me. They still like really nice and are my favorite out there, I wish they would have just left them the same.

Heads up on sizing. My daughter has an existing pair of these jazz shoes purchased locally at a dance store. They are a size 2.5 and fit great, made in Thailand. Her regular shoe size is a 2.5. To accommodate for some expected growth, we ordered a size 3. The Zappos Capezios are way too small, at least 2 sizes too small--not the same fit at all, made in Brazil. We are reordering a size 5 and keeping our fingers crossed that they will fit. In short, if you already own these shoes and are making a replacement purchase, you may get a huge surprise with the sizing.

I followed the sizing guidelines for this shoe and it still did not fit. It was a waste of money and I would suggest only buying from a store where you can try it on. APO AE customers beware!
