Awesome service, awesome product - I ordered the boots at 1 in the morning, regular shipping, and received them at 3 in the afternoon, just half a day later! It was like an unexpected Christmas gift. The boots themselves are great! Light, warm, and comfortable. Couldn't ask for better service or product!

Really great boot - I really love this boot. It's warm, even in very cold weather. It's waterproof and comfortable. Whoever will buy this boot will be 100% satisfied.

Great snow and cold weather boot with style - Living in the Boston area, with kids, I needed a good boot with style for trudging through slush in parking lots, deep snow when shoveling the driveway, and climbing up and down sledding hills. I tried several different brands through Zappos - the other brand I debated was Patagonia. It was very comfortable with great support but only came to the ankle so I didn't think it would keep the deeper snow out as well. At home the Hi Tech didn't feel like it would give me quite the firm support of the Patagonia, but it was still very comfortable. I liked the mid-calf height, and the price so decided to keep it. After a true New England snow day today - I give this boot 5 stars. I shovelled snow that was up to my calves and played in the driveway for 1 1/2 hours in the morning, then was on a sledding hill with my 6 year old, climbing up and down, and standing for long periods of time, also for about 1 1/2 hours. After all that, my feet are not sore at all at day's end - so no worries about comfort or support. My feet stayed warm all that time - until the last 20 minutes or so of sledding at 3:00 p.m. when the whole day was getting cooler. (And that was with regular socks by the way.) So performance was great. No wetness inside at all after all that. And I like the style. The fur detail is nice since it comes down the front of the boot - you can still see it if you pull your pants over the boot. Some pants I tuck in, some I pull over - nice that the boot can do both. As other people said, two fastening methods don't add much - I just found the right lacing and slip boots on and off without adjusting.

This boot works very well for outdoor winter activities of various types. From taking the trash out to romping in the snow, it keeps my feet warm, and is rather stylish.

I love these boots - I love these boots. I have not had a chance to wear them out yet since there hasn't been any snow yet this year but I did try them on and wore them in the house for a bit. They are super warm and comfortable.

Just got them this morning, I was really excited especially with all of the reviews. Unfortunately I have a bit larger than average calf so they were a bit uncomfortable in that area but overall very cute. I wish they were a little more forgiving in the width area, cause sadly I was cursed with wide feet.

Great boots! Super-warm and waterproof. I use these to go snowshoeing and they keep my feet toasty and dry. The tread on the soles is excellent for snow hiking as well. My only complaint is that the lacing system takes too long to get the boots on and off--if the lacing system were different, I would have given 5 stars for sure!

These boots were pretty comfortable, however I did not like the faux fur all the way down the tongue. I think if you stepped in snow, it might actually stick to the fur making it difficult to relace or remove the boots. The sole was very heavy-duty which I liked, but the toe box was pretty soft. I also wanted a shoe with a taller shaft.

The sole of these boots are extremely hard, and the sizing is completely off. I ordered three pairs of different snow boots all in the same size (8), two of which fit very well and these which felt about a size and a half too big. I really liked the styling of the boots, and they were warm, so I debated getting them a size smaller, but I would still have had to get a soft cushy insert to make them more comfortable to wear.

I've bought this same boot 3x over the last 6 years. I'm a dog walker in the midwest and walk year round. These boots are very comfortable and have yet to not be water proof. In person they look cuter than the picture.

These boots are amazing! They are very fashionable, comfortable and felt true to size giving me the option of wearing socks of varied thickness. I will be going to Boston soon and can't wait to try them out on tough weather. As soon as I put them on they felt comfortable and did not feel very heavy while walking.

Great Boots!!!!! Great Price they are worth getting I live in NYC although the snowstorm just left... I couldn't wait to slide my feet into these beautiful warm boots they are very light weight nice feel on the inside so so comfortable... It made me smile knowing i got a good purchase and i just love comfort but when i am walking it didn't feel like i am carrying the weight on these boots like the UGG Chilkat Just to let you ladies these but do run big i wear a size 8 1/2 i had to get the 8 whole size which i thought from reading the reviews but i didn't get the 9 because i normally wear a size 9 in shoes but the size 8 I still had room wearing these boots I couldn't put thick socks on with these boots because it made the boots feel tight but I believe if you add on a thin socks that would have a better feel and not make the boots feel tight i just think you guys should know but they do feel great with no socks. :-)

I absolutely love these boots. They are super warm, they look adorable and they are comfortable to wear. My only minor complaint is I wish they came in half sizes. They are a half size too big.

So far I love these! I've been looking a long time for the right boot. Comfort, warmth and traction on ice are key. So far these fit the bill and are much cuter than I thought they'd be. Also, I'm between an 8 and 8.5 depending on the shoe. I ordered the 8 and they fit fine with a thick sock and I can still wiggle my toes a bit. Tried the 7 just to see what the difference would be and they were too tight.

I love these boots. 3rd time was the charm. I finally got both pair that were made to match. They are warm and great to hike in.

Love these boots. They look much better than the pics and I've gotten several comments from people about how cute they are. I am a 9 narrow so finding boots is hard. I ordered the 9 and they are true to fit.

I bought these boots for my daughter. As a college student, she is doing a lot of walking around campus and too and from the light railway in Minnesota. She absolutely loves these boots. They are warm, are good walking through snow and icy sidewalks and aren't clunky looking for a snow boot. I would like a pair myself. I consider getting these boots a half size larger considering thick socks, but got her regular size 9. They fit great.

One of the best pair of boots I own. I live way up in the UP of Michigan so its important to have something warm and water proof. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the laces, they're long and the tighten lace always just sticks out. I also wish they were a little taller for walking through those big snow banks. Other than that they're very grippy, warm, and waterproof.I haven't slipped yet which is good.

I work outside and needed something waterproof, light weight and warm. These are all that and cute. I do not think that I am going to have to buy foot warmers this year. I am very Happy with my purchase.

Could've been the perfect winter boot, but had some issues with the fit...I first ordered a 7 (I wear 7-7.5 usually), and they were pretty snug -- I intended to wear thick socks, so returned for the 8. However, once the furry liner gets matted down, the boot got a lot bigger and worsened the issues I had with the boot rubbing under my ankles. However, lacing up real tight helped with the size issue (not so much the ankle stuff). Living in MN I wear my winter boots nearly half the year. This was the year I was going to splurge and buy "real" boots. I had the perfect opportunity to break them in, spent 4 days hunting along Lake Superior in them, temps ranged from 6-37 F, snow on the ground for several days, melting the last day (aka slushy, wet conditions). So, not as cold as it gets, but I was outside for up to 10 hours at a time in them, sometimes walking/hiking, sometimes sitting and standing for awhile. The good: Attractive boot, good height. Quite warm (granted I wore 2-3 pairs of wool socks + toe warmers) but wasn't miserable outside for hours on end. I like that you can lace them up tight or leave really loose and sort of slide them on. I have rather flat feet and didn't have any problems with the soles of these boots. The not-so-good: The boot is stiff, and caused me problems. It may be me, I've had issues with shoes/boots rubbing my ankles wrong. But these were painful, even through all my layers. I was on a lot of uneven terrain and hills and before long I couldn't ignore the discomfort. I'd recommend wearing these around the house all day, try some uneven surfaces, I guess. They were a tiny bit slippery on the snow (but maybe I was just not stepping right to relieve some of the pressure on ankles). Also, kind of squeaky rubber. I'd suggest ordering your regular size, as it gets a little roomier, and taking the time to break them in. On the plus side, can't beat the customer service at Zappos! I so was impressed and grateful they'd accept this briefly worn return that I intend to give them my business for a different pair, even if some local stores offer 30 day 'real-world' trials. I really appreciate how dedicated to customer service they are!

I tried on many other boots before these, but all seemed strangely snug in one place or another. These boots have the right amount of room inside to keep feet super warm. They are also delightfully light for being as substantial as they are. And they're cute too, which is a bonus.
