Great all day shoes - Love the shoes- great for office all day wear. A little narrower than I hoped but still good.

Interesting shoe!! I got the purple color and WOW are these shoes different and so pretty! They are very stylish and rather European looking. I bought them for fall to wear with jeans. The paisley embroidered leather top really adds a bohemian look to these that will work for a lot of current trends. And they are soft, soft, soft! I did take a previous reviewer's recommendation to order a narrower size in these - I usually wear an M width but in wide shoes like Birkenstocks I wear an N width. That was good advice! They are snug enough that they will not flop or slide around but not too snug that they are uncomfortable in any way. Also, I can tell that over time these will stretch a bit. I shop with clients on my feet all day and these are going to be very comfortable!

Post script to my review of "Camille" Sadly I subtract a star from the category of "Look," not because "Camille" is unlovely (just read my review)! I love it, but today I discovered (1) what tricks the mind plays and (2) it differs significantly from its photograph: the upper does not, as pictured, slope gracefully in an upward curve on my foot. Rather, there is clearly less leather edge on top of my foot than the photo led me to expect, and the result is that Camille is plainer and less elegant than if the top edge were curved upward. Compare with "Lisbon" and "Blaise," both of which have the straight, uncurved edge Camille in fact has. I have and love "Blaise," and briefly tried Lisbon (its lack of curve sent it back; by then Camille had appeared, with the curve I wanted). Both styles have the great Sofft attributes, but Camille's photo led me to expect a more graceful upward curve than the other two have in their photos and on my foot. Camille's rich, sensuous chocolate and caramel and its Sofft characteristics so beguiled me that before the UPS man was back in his truck I was happily wearing these shoes and, accustomed to perfection from Sofft, I didn't look closely and with an unbiased eye. In my mind, they were shaped as in their photo. Today revealed my error: I bought a dress specifically for Camille, with a long, graceful curved hemline that echoes the curve my mind had given the shoes. But full-length three-way mirrors tell all. My first response was perhaps I invented the curve, but when I got home I came to the computer to check my visual acuity, and there was Camille -- gracefully curved upward, in the photo. The shoes look well with my dress; I'm still in love; in no way would I make my review less exuberant. But in Zappos' fine tradition, I felt honor bound to send this post script.

Zappos does it again! Once again, Zappos is the truth! Customer service is superb and the shoes are wonderful. So cute and comfortable. Well made and stylish, even in a size 12! Love, love, love Zappos.

Extremely comfortable and good-looking. I can tell this shoe will be my favorite in the cooler months. Fits like it was custom made for my foot. Beautiful!

Sofft "Camille" Why, you may ask, do I order Camille when I have Sofft's "Blaise," so very like it? Because I love Blaise. Both have Sofft's excellent arch support ("'everything' support" is more apt) and cushy-but-serious foot bed working in perfect synchrony to hold my foot in place. No walking-out-of; no toes pushing forward; the heel height perfects one's posture and eliminates backaches. Sheer comfort. Sofft must seek out unusually-imaginative designers to create these unique shoes; I'd like to know their story. I am stopped even by strangers to receive compliments. One gentleman asked if he might hold Blaise to examine it at close range; I complied, and wrote "Zappos.com" on his business card. In Soffts, unusual fabrics contrast richly with delicate, embroidery-like design. (Blaise is deep aubergine velvet; Camille, rich brown leather with contrasting brown for "engraved" design on uppers. Shapely, elegant, Soffts are poems from an earlier century, and when I slip easily into them and wear them for hours scarcely knowing I've shoes on, they bring me into their magical frame of mind. Wonderful Zappos, who introduced me to them, finds ever-new ways to improve, when I'd swear they could get no better. Besides the obvious -- free shipping and free n' easy returns, wide range of brands, styles, sizes -- they seek the little things that ease all: most recently, "see other colors and prices," which saves one considerable time. A valuable glossary. How do you do it? Arrival almost before I leave the computer... I could go on. And on. One of your helpful customer service folk says you're pondering clothing. It will not be run-of-the-mill, no doubt about that.

Very comfortable shoe - This was my first pair of Sofft shoes, and I'm sold. I will not wear shoes a second time if they're not comfortable the first time, and these needed no break-in period. They're extremely comfortable, even for the long haul. They have a bit of a dressier look for a mule, and look great with pants and skirts. I bought my usual size and they fit perfectly. I definitely recommend these shoes!

I love these shoes. Each morning I used to wake up and have terrible heel pain in my right foot (I'm guessing it was plantar fasciitis). I knew I needed shoes with good arch support...and I wanted them to be cute too. I purchased these Sofft shoes (never tried them before) and immediately I could tell these were wonderful shoes. The foot bed is soft and squishy but it also has the "all important" arch support that I was looking for. I can honestly say...I don't wake up with pain in my heel anymore and I'm attributing that to these shoes. I should say...I have experienced a small amount of rubbing on my toes (just behind the nail of each big toe) but my feet have toughened up a bit in these spots and now I don't even notice it. I would definitely recommend buying Sofft shoes. I have very wide (Hobbit like) feet and these shoes fit perfectly. The shoes have a wonderful rubber sole (I feel safe walking on the shining floors at work) and they look very well made.

Overall a Great Shoe - This shoe is quite comfortable especially for having a higher heel. I think there could be more support/cushion for the ball of your foot, which you feel after a significant amount of walking.

For those with feet problems - I have a very shallow foot, the width of my foot is normal, but the depth of my foot is very thin. If I buy an AAA they are too tight, if I buy a AA sometimes they just fit and other times they are too big. This shoe is a little too big so I wear it with socks. For a heel it is comfortable and supports me very well.

Nice - Having wide feet can really be a barrier to finding good-looking *and* comfortable shoes. Recently I bought, and returned, 2 different styles of Clarks shoes. The first pair wasn't sized right or something so that the leather pulled and looked stretched/slightly twisted. The 2nd looked like a pair of paddles. So I came to Zappos and searched for shoes and read the reviews which lead me to this Sofft shoe. Sadly, in my size they only come in black ~ had my heart set on the violet ones! But they're very nice looking, feminine with just the height heel that I prefer. They're slightly tight around the opening, keeping the reviews I read in mind I'm hoping it develops a little 'give'. I just wore them out on some errands and they were quite comfortable. I'm pretty happy with them and intend to keep them. Too bad Sofft doesn't have a better selection in E width shoes or I'd buy more .

Pretty little shoes, but hated the heels. These are very feminine, classy looking shoes and they are comfortable as are all the Soffts I own. However, the tips on the heels are very hard plastic (not like the ones on other Sofft styles) and they make a loud clicking noise when they strike the floor and they are very slick--no traction. Rather than return these shoes that I really adore, I took them to my local shoe repair shop and had the hard plastic heel tips replaced with some that look the same but are a little softer and more resilient--a cost of $5.00--now the shoes are perfect--and I won't slip, fall and break something.

Soffts Camille is 4 stars - Nice looking shoe. I have a wide foot so I ordered these in the wide width. The leather is very nice and stretched to my foot a bit more than anticipated. I could have ordered this in the medium width. So I would say the leather stretched a little more than I needed. I like the look and the feel. Quite comfortable. Very nice looking with jeans and slacks. Would order them in various colors.

Camille on a Narrow Foot - I have long narrow feet and shy away from mule-style shoes as they are too hard to keep on my feet. These are great looking, comfortable and, when worn with knit socks, easy to walk in! I'd try the Sofft brand again.

I was excited to get this shoe. It is beautiful. However I ordered the E and this certainly was not an E. It felt shorter and narrower than a 7E. If it had fit, I know it would have been a great shoe.

What Fun! These feel like slippers! I couldn't believe that they felt that good. I thought they'd be a bit stiff or that the inside top would be rough with seams and stitching - nope, smooth. Seriously - like slippers. I would have given them a 5 Star Overall rating except for the little squeak they have when walking on the sidewalk. But I must say I still wouldn't give them up because they are so timelessly cute. Really a classic. Kind of hot with jeans and they put a finish (with a flare) worn the right way with skirts/dresses. (Those of you who dress this way know what I mean ... the quiet classy attitude that says "Somebody" by those of us who can't be bothered to really care.) These works. I ordered by regular size - fit perfect.

Cute Clog-style shoe - I have come to like Sofft because of the styling. They make a hip-looking comfortable shoe. This one is particularly appealing because I discovered that they now have 2 sizes of wide. I find this shoe to be a good fit for my somewhat wide foot. It has a nice bit of embroidered detailing on the top of the shoe and it is dressy but casual.

A full size too small, but cute! These shoes were so cute I was sad to have to return them. It was at least a half size too small and also felt more like a wide "D" instead of extra wide "E" I had ordered. I am still not sure if I will try a 9 or 9.5 extra wide or just go for another shoe. Good luck if you order this shoe.

Gorgeous, Only Un-Comfy After a Few Hours - These are gorgeous shoes, very unique. They're not uncomfortable at first, nor even uncomfortable after a few blocks of walking, but given several hours (5 or so for me) of basically-uninterrupted walking/standing, they killed my feet. I think they would be totally fine as long as you get to rest for periods of time during your day, but if you're going to be walking and standing basically non-stop, these aren't your best choice for that day.

Beautiful but sadly awkward on my foot - Although this amazingly beautiful shoe seemed to be the right size, it just didn't sit well on my foot. This may be due to my weird, incredibly hard to fit feet more than to the shoe itself, though. I usually place orthotics in my shoes, but Sofft makes such an awesome shoe I thought I could get away without one.

Pretty and comfy, but heel is different than other Soffts - This shoe is very pretty and dressy and comfy; but watch the heel - it is slimmer and of harder material than my Sofft Langston, and it tends to slide sideways and is more unstable, especially on smooth floors. I have to walk carefully. Other Sofft heels are wider and more rubbery and have better grip on floor.

Comfy Casual Camille - Sofft's Camille, is a very comfortable shoe, easily worn with slacks or jeans. I liked my first pair so much, that I ordered a second pair in a different color.

A different look… These look very unique when on, which I liked very much. I am just shy of a size five, but found the first pair that I ordered was a little small in length (size 5). I was actually able to fit in the size 6, so my impression is that they run somewhat small. A nice, comfortable shoe overall...

Mighty cute! I think this is an adorable shoe! I followed others' recommendations and ended up with an 8N, though I normally wear an 8M. The shoes are nicely padded but I am just not comfortable in ANY shoe where all my weight is on the ball of my foot. They are much better than most dress shoes I've had, though.
