These are so comfortable! Like all Birkenstocks, you have to wear them in and get them to mold to your feet, but now I basically live in them! Zappos.com was great to work with and the shoes came quickly! I will definitely order from them again!

Oh my gosh I am a brickenstock girl. I am waiting a hip replacement. I work in a job were I need to wear business casual. These are casual but dressy enough for work. What I was looking for was support . To help me find some comfort until I have my hip replacement. And have comfort and style. I so love these shoes. I have many different styles and plan to get more!

I have 3 pairs of Birkenstock sandals, all in the same size. Bought this pair in the same size and they were far too small.

After a year's worth of running injury recovery, I decided to give Birkenstocks a try again. I wore them in college in the early-mid 90s, and I really liked them. I went to the local Birkenstock shop and tried on the Arizona (I used to wear the Milano). They initially felt stiff and unrelenting, similar to my custom orthotics when I was breaking them in. Because of my foot problems, the SA recommended the original footbed over the soft, and I agree, that was the right choice. I got a pair that day in black, but then ordered the red nubuck soft footbed version from Zappos, for a more "fashionable" look. One of my friends swears she'd rather die than wear Birkenstocks, I told her that was her choice, but my feet are happy, and I'll continue to wear my Birks around her. Ha! So back to the shoes - when you first wear them, wear them only for 30 minutes or so, increasing your time each day. They do feel odd at first, but they really will form to your feet. I convinced my boyfriend who has some foot and back problems, to try them out. He hated them initially, said they felt like cork blocks, but now he puts them on when he gets home from work, so he can recover from being on his feet all day. He can't wear them to work, but wears them as house shoes. I recently started a part time retail holiday job, and they asked me to stay on permanently, 1-2 shifts a week. My day job is an office job, so I had to get used to a lot of standing again. I can't wear open toe/back shoes, and thought the London would be a good alternative to running shoes for my new retail gig, which is all standing/walking. The London is stiffer than the Arizona, probably because there's a lot more structure to the shoe. I wear a 6.5-7 D, and the 37 is perfect. I have to pull the strap pretty hard to get it closed, as I need to wear it on the 2nd hole, but I'm sure the leather will soften over time. They were a bit "blocky" feeling at first wearing, but I was able to wear them for a 6 hour shift without issue. No blisters, and my back felt great at the end of the day. They are not the cutest shoes, but I think I rock them pretty well with boot cut jeans or tights and a dress.

Pretty good so far. I've owned several pairs of Birkenstocks and these feel similar to the others. The leather heel doesn't rub or anything which I was concerned about. The biggest difference is the footbed of this shoe doesn't have the toe ridges I haven't noticed much difference in wearing them, but that's something to note if you've had trouble with that feature in the past.

Most comfortable work shoes I have ever owned. Wonderful arch support. Love the heel cup also.

I ordered these a while ago but I haven't worn them yet, they feel comfortable when I try them on, but they're a little bit loose in the style, and that will take some getting used to. For me I have to adjust the straps when I take them on or off, but some people might be able to slip them on .

Great shoes, super comfortable like all Birkenstocks. I am a solid 42 in Europe sizing and usually a 9 or 9.5 in most shoes, but for these I had to go to a 41. They felt tight at first and I was worried they were too small, but they are perfect after wearing a few times to break in.

Love these. I am a size 8 US but went with the 38 since they run a little big. My Arizona's also are a 38. They stretch out enough after a few times of wearing and are very comfortable. A little rough when u wear them first few times so don't wear them all day until broken in a bit. Love them. I even wear them with dress pants for work. so so comfortable

Always love Birkenstocks. I like that these don't slip off but I don't like having to unbuckle every time. I gave it it a 4 on comfort because they just don't want to break in.

amazing, comfortable shoes once it has been broken in. It works great for my job since it involves a lot of standing and the shoes as I said is very comfortable. It took about 3 weeks to really break in the shoes for me.

I LOVE THESE SHOES. I purchased them to wear win the operating room. I stand on my feet all day for hours at a time and these are perfect. I highly recommend them to everyone. They have gotten all kinds of bodily fluids on them that don't belong to me and they clean well without leaving marks. They are perfect. Cannot praise these enough. The insoles are replaceable if necessary.

I've been wearing this London for 28 years...I have loved them, but with my last pair and current job, the footbed was feeling a bit hard. Also, being 28 years older...foot needs change, I'm sure. They were also 6+ years old. I was so excited to learn about the new Soft Footbed! They are amazing...my first day I wore them for 8 hours on a cement floor and I could do a happy dance when I got home!!! As with all the Birkenstock sandals/clogs I have owned, these are well made, provide exceptional support, and are comfortable to wear. I prefer the Havana oil leather, because it is easy to keep looking good with Lexol leather conditioner. I usually wear mine with crew socks and these took a day's wear to break in, while I can wear Birkenstock sandals pretty much right out of the box. Highly recommended!

Really a comfortable shoe. My first pair birks, not my last. Looks more like a sandal than a shoe however. Not really something most people can wear to work. But an awesome casual shoe. I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe offered some nice relief for me.

Comfortable out of the box. These don't have the toe bar, which isn't a problem for me. The thick leather really gives the shoe a substantial feel, while the light weight really makes them easy to wear for long periods. Build quality is excellent-the footbed is made in Germany, while the upper is made in Portugal. Don't let that bother you, Portugal is known for making fine leather products and shoes. The Havana color is rich and attractive. Very happy with these.

Zappos has great quality shoes, incredible customer service, extremely quick shipping. I love the company. No complaints!

Trying to replace my original pair. I love this shoe! But my foot is too wide for the Regular. Trying to find this in wide. Plus my original pair had a kind of shiny leather-good for work, not the dull 'oil finish'.

I wrote a review May 4, 2014 singing the praises of my "career shoes." My intent was to also retire my shoes (after 28 years) when I retired. Simply said, I could not bear to just pitch them. They served me well. Thus, after new footbed and sole replacement they are just like new. Now I guess I should refer to them as my "lifetime shoes." These shoes are magnificent!

Although I've worn Birkenstock garden clogs for 23 years, this shoe bed is much different. It takes a bit of getting used to, but I think it's going to work out quite well.

I love Birkenstocks. the style is a bit clunky but the original footbed is the best therapy for my high arches. Unfortunately these are getting harder to find. I am grateful to Zappos Customer service for walking me through my order.

The 70s hippie look is growing on me; but more importantly, the cork insole and wide toe box are very comfortable for my high arched wide feet.

I am a Birkie wearer. I swear by Birkenstocks because I have four pair of the sandals in different styles. But, this is my first Birk shoe and like my others, it doesn't disappoint. I ordered my normal size of a 38 regular and it fit perfect. I didn't have any issues of having to break them in either. I thought I would because the leather seemed stiff at first but when I put them on and started walking there wasn't any issue with them not being able to give. They feel good with or without socks for me, but I am going to wear them mostly with socks. I purchased these because I didn't want to give up the comfort of Birks during the winter time since I now have to put my sandals away. I usually go back to other types of shoes in the winter months but I am finding that my feet have a hard time adjusting which is probably why during last winter I had a bunch of callouses. Anyway, these are wonderful and I am planning on getting them in brown as well.

I do surgery all day. I've worn birks for years and love them, they're the best shoes for prolonged standing. I took my London to the cobbler and got vibram soles put on to prevent slipping in blood etc. Not the best looking but definitely the most comfortable shoe you will own after a month of wearing in.
