These are very comfortable and supportive on the heels. I have a slightly wide foot but also a high instep and these shoes are roomy both in width and in the height of the toe box.

I purchased these shoes strictly for walking on my treadmill. I wanted extra cushioning plus structure, and these shoes deliver. However, it took me a few tries to find a pair with correctly marked sizes. The first pair were an 8M in white, fit like an 8W (I wear 7.5B street and 8M athletic), and looked ridiculous on my feet. I next ordered a size 7.5M and another 8M in black, figuring that the black would recede and not look so ungainly. Once again, the sizes were off; this time both shoes were identical. I finally got a correctly marked 8M on my third try. These shoes will never win awards for style. They look like something high school sports referees wore in the 70\'s, but they feel amazing on my feet. For my needs, that\'s all that matters.

Saucony walker - I chose this shoe based on the recommendation in the Feb.09 issue of Ladies Home Journal. It was one of their 3 top shoes for walking and was also recommended by the Am. Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. I'm on my feet at work in a hospital and need a really good, supportive shoe--with a roomy toe box. This shoe fit the bill--even though it's not very attractive, I'd rather have the comfort. Glad I bought it. I sometimes use a heel cushion and/ or orthotics, but this shoe feels fairly good without my usual "additives".

Walking shoes - I did not realize the shoes would appear so large. They are really comfortable, but I wish they could feel this good without looking this big!

Any Saucony shoe fits my foot really well because of the wide toe box.

Not as comfortable - This is a new Saucony style for me and they are not as comfortable, nor is the arch support as good as Grid Instep. Thought it would be better because these were more expensive, but it is not as good. I will go back to the previous style next time. I work in a busy pediatricians' office and am running for 8+ hrs a day.

Disappointed in these walking shoes. They are tight in the toe box, and also are prone to rub along my arch, so I worry about getting blisters. Much prefer the Easy Spirit Romy’s I got to replace these.

They felt a bit narrow to be a wide shoe. I, generally, have extra room in wide shoes (I'm a "C"). But these felt snug.

Nice shoe. Really hoped it would work. But, the toe box is too narrow for my foot.

This shoe has a very narrow toe box given that it's theoretically wide. Also, there's a seam near the pinky toe that rubs, There was no point in my even trying to lace it.

I am trying to replace the eschlon model. the gate felt normal because this shoe is neutral, no pronation. But it is a whole size smaller. I am sending it back and will try something else.

For some reason, it HURT to wear this shoe -- and I only had it on for a few minutes around the house! The left foot felt like there was a rock inside the inner part of the heel, and it was just too uncomfortable!

These shoes felt too short and tight. I have a pair of fabric Saucony walking shoes which are a very similar style and they fit great. Maybe these are tight because they are leather and require some breaking in. I was also bothered by the seams where the leather pieces were sewn together and where the tongue attached. The seams rubbed on my big toe joint of one foot and pinky toe of the other foot.

Not as good for my peculiar feet as the ProGrid Integrity (also Saucony) in a wide width. The Omni Walker looks a little better--the toe is tapered, making an wee effort at stylishness--but the wide was too wide all around, especially in the heel. I need the width and depth in the toes. Overall, if I had not already been wearing a pair of Progrid Integrity, I might have given these a whirl in a medium width. Not fabulous, not awful, but not just right, y'know?

I tried both this shoe and the Saucony Integrity ST2 based on reviews for Planter Fasciitis. The Integrity fit me better. The Omni Walker was tight in the front of the shoe.... the shape was a bit more pointed and this may have been the problem. This went back. The Integrity stayed. Just wasn't right for my foot. The review is based on my experience only

My last pair of this style was a medium width. This time they are much narrower than they should be and possibly shorter too. I will try a wide to see if that resolves my problem.

They have what I think of as the Saucony fit--that is, like a glove for my feet--so they are quite comfortable. They aren't very attractive, but then, most walking shoes are not. They will accommodate an orthotic insert, though the arch support is good enough in these that I don't need one. My rating is not higher overall because of one thing I consider a dealbreaker: The soles squeak. I don't mean the usual bit of squeakiness shoes sometimes have when they're brand new, and I don't mean the squeakiness you'll sometimes hear walking over a freshly waxed floor. I mean they squeak constantly and loudly. It's embarrassing and I don't like to wear them because of that. I would far rather Saucony charged more for the shoes and used better quality materials, but that does not seem to be the direction they're going, unfortunately.

As another reviewer pointed out, the wide is just not very wide. The sneaker is too pointed for it to have a comfortable toe box. I’ll try again with Zappos.

I am 67 years old and have severe idiopathic neuropathy as well as a Morton's neuroma, and other foot issues in both my feet and have been looking for a good walking shoe that I could walk in for at least 30 minutes a day without eventual crippling pain. I ordered the Saucony Grid Omni Walker and the Saucony Progrid Integrity ST2 to try. I have always worn a narrow shoe, and have a narrow heel, but decided to try a medium shoe this time as the toe box feels too narrow on my older narrow shoes now. I found I can wear both of these and keep the heel from slipping if I use the uppermost holes at the ankle for lacing. I will be returning the Grid Omni walker because the toebox is still pretty narrow and confining and very stiff with very little give, which I need for the neuropathy. The Progrid Integrity feels much better on my feet with my particular issues, with more give throughout the shoe and especially in the toebox, so I don't feel like my toes are being held in a vise. I also like the fact that I was able to order it in the stone color, which is much more attractive than white, especially on my huge size 11 feet. I plan to keep this pair. I may update this review at some point when I have a better idea of how they will wear over time.

Cute shoes but my arches were tired after wearing them around the house. I think they needed orthopedic insoles. The problem with shoes that TRY to help with arch support is that they fail to provide a deep heel cup for the foot to fully rest in and not just get pushed out on a angle. This is way too common of a problem. :(

The Saucony Omni Walker is a nice looking shoe but the size 6 wide was a bit snug in the width. I have arthritis & extensor tendonitis in my left foot. The Omni Walker seemed to pull my foot & ankle when I walked & I felt like my feet were turning over to the outside. I sent these back & ordered the Progrid Integrity which were perfect size-wise & also were kind to my left foot.

I normally wear 7.5 wide, but these were too narrow in the toe area for me. I have purchased other Saucony shoes, and loved them, but these just were not comfortable.

Been buying this type shoe for years but this time inside left side of shoe made my foot tilt to the right arch of my foot. Very uncomfortable. Had to return.

This shoe fits, but the top of the toe box dips down too far. It presses on the top of my foot, and I need to wear a band aid around the cuticle of my big toe in order for it not to rub. I was disappointed after reading all the good reviews about people with orthotics having plenty of room for them in this shoe. Mine extend to beneath my toes, and there is not enough room for them to be comfortable. At least, not yet. I will keep them, wear band aids, and hope they break in better. I normally order New Balance and most often do not have any trouble with them, but they only last for a season before becoming totally shot. I ordered these hoping they would wear better. They will have to break in better, and wear better than the New Balance before I would ever reorder a pair of these.
