This shoe is made out of hemp and canvas which means it is a far more durable Saucony than its suede cousin. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a shoe that can be taken outside and resist the brutalities of our exterior environment.

Tip Top -
I have a wider foot and they feel great. I did go up a half size to get a wider shoe. I've had 'em for a couple weeks and they're the best vegan shoe I’ve tried. I have some vegan flats and these provide so much more cushion.

I ordered these shoes in two different colors and neither pair looked like the ones pictured. Otherwise, I like them.

I love the Jazz Low Pro so much; it is my all-time favorite sneaker. This vegan version has hemp-based upper parts instead of the usual leather. I've owned three of these (the vegan ones) over the years and I love them. Unfortunately, though, the vegan ones are slightly less durable than their non-vegan counterparts. This shoe has very little support, but I like that. It has just the right amount of padding. I find it exceptionally comfortable for walking long distances, and I've run in it too and it is good for that too, but it's a better walking and all-purpose shoe. The only thing it is bad for is that the tread on the bottom tends to hold mud, so I don't recommend wearing it in a nature setting or walking through mud in it. The vegan model is much cooler and more breathable than the normal one. I like to wear the vegan ones in summer and hot weather, and the normal model in winter and in cold weather. I always get the "low pro" ones, because they don't have a raised heel. I find them more comfortable to wear, and I find they improve my running form, a lot more like barefoot running, i.e. they reduce the risk of heel striking, and I think they make me have better posture.
I wish this company still sold a model that was not vegan, i.e. that was more durable, yet had a cool, breathable mesh. They used to, but they discontinued it. I bought two of those and would happily buy one again, but I have not seen them for sale for years. I will keep my eye out though.

I'm a flat footed fellow and have a hard time finding shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Unfortunately, the hemp doesn't last as long as the non-vegan versions of the same shoe. A hole started to wear where my great toe rubs after a 1.5 years of regular use.

Hmm. What can I say about these shoes? I was really devastated that Saucony stopped making these for awhile and shortly after I discovered them too. But, they came back a couple of years ago and I hope Saucony maintains their commitment to providing quality and stylish vegan footwear. If only more companies would... So, here are my few issues with them, none so serious as to make me stop buying them but it can be annoying. 1) Recently they've been turning out shoes where one tongue is longer than the other. Significantly in one case for me. 2) The toe cap does not go back far enough and is not consistent pair to pair. Annoyingly enough I seem to raise my first two toes on my left foot when I walk and I rub through the hemp above those toes on my left shoe. The quickest has been one month, the slowest about 6 months. 3) The heel, internally, wears down quickly. Those are the only two things that wear down in my experience. If they manufactured it with the toe cap just a little higher I think it would take quite a while for me to break down a pair to where its unusable. Oh, last thought. I feel some real hesitancy going downhill in them on pavement when its rainy or slick. Traction can be very iffy.

Super comfy. This is the second pair of these shoes that I've owned and they're my favorite.
My only complaint is that the lining at the heel wore through quicker than I would have expected. My first pair served me well, just not as long as I'd hoped.

You get two sets of laces and no dead animals on your feet. Super comfortable really great shoes, but they are small for the size. I would suggest getting at least a half size larger than normal. Zappos does make exchanges and returns very easy though.

Great shoe so far (3 weeks). Comfortable and breathes well. Slightly narrower than I expected, but not a big problem. Great everyday shoe, bonus that they're vegan. The second set of laces are a nice touch, though they came laced in the shoe, leading me to believe they were supposed to be worn that way...don't do this.

Overall I'm satisfied with the sneakers. The sneakers are all that I'd expect from a quality shoe, but the fit was slightly narrower than my last set of sneakers. This caused me to lose my balance a few times when doing lift exercises on one leg. However, this could simply be because they are not as worn and therefore the soles are higher off the ground. Perhaps the sneakers need to be broken in more.

Thank you, Saucony, for this vegan shoe! Most of us cruelty-concerned types have to sort through the materials list (when they have them) and hope they are correct and thorough. This shoe is not only vegan, but adorable. I bought these without hesitation for my vegan boyfriend, and he loved them. They have a fun woven texture and a nice silhouette. Not the most supportive shoe in the universe, but still very nice to wear to class or for everyday.

I picked these vegans because of the styling. I needed a pair of everyday shoes to wear around the city. Something comfortable and versatile. The Saucony's have always looked nice to me, and these vegans just look way cooler. The rough fabric finish has stood up to about 6 months of city/subway without really getting dirty. The natural-looking flecks in the sole are a nice touch, and overall I love the way these shoes look. After the last 6 months, the heel is starting to rub a little, and there's a stiff material backing for the toe and heel that is crinkling. The shoes start looking like they do here on the site, but after a couple of months, the front of the shoe is a little warped, as this stiff material bends and leaves creases. A minor setback.

Great shoes. I wear them almost daily and they last about 6 months before needing to be replaced (which I have now done three times). They are comfortable, but could use a little more arch support.

Very comfortable, stylish and well built. That fact that it is vegan rocks. Very good shoe. I highly recommend it. Also Zappos rocks, great customer service.

Good shoe. No surprises upon receipt. Comfy, not great with the arch support, but just about good enough. Love the canvas material. Love the color.

I recently bought a pair of these bad boys and they're super comfortable. The fact that they're made from hemp also doesn't hurt. The only major problem I have is that by the end of a 10 hour work day, they definitely feel like I paid the price for them. Overall I'd definitely buy another pair though.

This is a lovely sneaker to wear. Foot breathes well, ankle support is great. Style is lovely. A fine, fine foot affair.

Been around the block a few times, still treating me well.
I like these shoes. Which is not to say I don't love them, because actually I do. There. I said it. I bike a lot, as well as walk several miles daily. I usually only own one pair at a time and put a lot of mileage on that very pair. For the most part, they're still in good shape. The Minnesotan winter has been kind of harsh on them (mostly the road salt), but they're still holding together and are quite comfy. The breath real well too.

Good shoe, but have others -
Great looking shoe. I have wide feet, and so they are a wee bit snug, but overall very comfortable. I've been wearing them often for the past two weeks, and the stitching has frayed a bit at the edges.

Cool kicks!
I've been wearing Saucony Jazz sneakers for years. There are two different main types, those with a thicker all-white sole and those with a slightly thinner sole that is white and has a stripe of some other color depending on the shoe. The all-white soled ones do offer more cushion but both styles are very comfortable. This pair falls into the latter category of sole however, due to their unusual materials for the rest of the shoe, they are sort of in their own category all together. This pair is NOT as comfortable as the other two main Jazz sneaker types, at least not initially. This is b/c the hemp and canvas are much stiffer and tougher than the standard lightweight suede and nylon on all other Jazz (excluding the few all-leather ones which I've never worn). To my shock, these sneakers actually hurt my feet initially (for the first several wears). They have since softened a bit and are much more comfortable, HOWEVER, I repeat they are not as comfortable as the standard Jazz sneakers; a tough benchmark to reach I admit, as I think the standard Jazz are the most comfortable sneakers sold today, but still... Pluses: vegan, super-cool looking, thick material that is warm for winter (unlike standard Jazz sneakers). If you have a wide foot, as I do, any Jazz sneaker will likely be better than 90% of the rest of the sneaker mkt.
Minuses: material quite stiff initially and ultimately not quite as comfortable as standard Jazz (but after they wear in still more comfortable than most sneakers).

I really like these shoes, comfy and sporty. For people who are vegetarian/vegan (like me) who like shoes like this, I think most would enjoy the feel (and look).

Wow, pleasantly surprised!
This is the first: A) vegan shoe I’ve ever bought and B) bought off the internet. I was pretty leery about the whole thing, but as soon as these awesome shoes were on me, all doubts slipped away! So far, these shoes have been super comfortable, fit great and durable (only had them for a month, but I’ve worn them almost the whole time). They have better than average support for a sneaker, in my opinion-- and they look pretty great too!

These are comfortable shoes, but do not get them wet. They shrunk an entire size when I was caught in a rainstorm.
