Going to return this pair. Not great quality, seems like one shoe is a different shape than the other. Aside from that I may have kept them. The treads are good but if I buy another pair I'll pass on the vegan option.

I've been trying to grow to like these, I really have. I wanted to give a rave review, but I'm pretty "eh" on these. I have always loved the regular Saucony Jazz, but these definitely feel different. I like these alright, but they're just not as comfortable. I'm on my feet all day and always felt good after a day on my Saucony Jazz. So, I got exactly the same size as my other Jazz's, and I just can't seem to get these tight enough to feel snug (I have a slightly wider foot, Nike=ouch); length is good, but something about the width and insole/cushioning is weird. These just aren't as comfortable and also provide no arch support. However, these shoes are wonderfully lightweight, very breathable, and are pretty darn cool to look at (lots of positive comments). I'll certainly be keeping them and wearing them here and there, but they won't be my everyday go-to shoe. I'll probably be headed back to the regular Saucony Jazz for that.

I ordered the navy/gray option. It is stylish for my unsophisticated taste, although I was surprised that it is just a slip-on and cannot be laced up. Because it is fairly flimsy and does not provide enough support, it cannot be called a walking or running shoe though is fine for limited getting around. It looks like a "sneaker" but really is not, and it won't accomodate a thicker sock. Although I ordered my usual size 11, with an REI athletic sock it pinches my toes. I am pleased to see a product, however, that is made without any animal products. Saucony deserves commendation for that. Now build a better design into it.

Look carefully at the selections, specifically the navy/grey option. (I purchased the brown in September 2012, which don't appear to be for sale any longer#. You'll notice that the navy/grey option doesn't have padding around the ankle, which is what I was looking for, something very minimal. Unfortunately these particular styles of the group have fixed elastic laces, and elastic heels. It would have been nice for this to have been specified. My pair fit comfortably tight, kinda like socks, which is great because I got them specifically to wear without socks#they don't work well with socks). They breathe well too. However, the toes of the soles aren't glued down... When you warm up this becomes a problem as they stick to your feet, not the shoe, and bunch up when quickly changing direction). This becomes even more annoying when you try to pull off the shoes and the front of the soles come out.
Glue the soles all the way, heel to toe, and the elastic can be passable. Glue the soles, get rid of the elastic, and put in actual laces, while keeping all else the same and these shoes would be awesome.

I think these are great shoes, just not for me. I weight 230lbs and am hard on shoes. They are comfortable but they feel like they have fallen apart after just two weeks.

I purchased the burgundy and white low pro vegen. The heel and laces are elastic but the size is true fit. Ive own my pair for 3 weeks and overall, Im very please considering the low price. These shoes are mainly worn while lounging and I dont recomend them for hiking in the hills because of the loose heel causing your foot to slip out. I love theses shoes because they are made from recycled resourses, with no animal products.

Size is pretty standard. The recycled and natural materials make these shoes stylish and make you feel eco-friendly. Although the canvas material that makes up a lot of the shoe did fall apart after 7 months. They are really tattered on the fronts. I wore these every day though. A lot of people rotate shoes. I don't. Either way, they did not live up to my standard.

Hi,
I bought this pair of Saucony because I'm vegetarian. And it's not so easy to find shoes made from non-leather materials and which will look nice. This model looks good but have a very bad ventilation.

I'm rating this right down the middle, unfortunately, because, regardless of description, there are two very different styles in the Vegan line. One is just like the Jazz Low Pro we all know and love. I own the both the Navy and Black/Oatmeal in this style, and they're great. Just like the regular Jazz, but with a hot new look, and I really enjoyed them.
Then there is the De-Calf style. I bought the Burgundy/Red when the product first launched. It was a great looking shoe. (I don't see this color still available, but the Navy/Gray is the same thing#. So...here's the deal with this shoe: it's a super-stretchy slip on. The back part of the shoe #the part that wraps the heel and is essentially responsible for keeping the shoe on# is verrrrrry elastic-y. This heel piece also feels like it hits me a little lower than my other Jazz. The laces are also stretchy #as is the piece over the toe#. What does this lead to? Walking right out of your shoes at the farmers market. #The low, stretchy heel piece slips down, little by little, and eventually you're not wearing a shoe anymore!) I was falling out of these shoes CONSTANTLY. I've been wearing Saucony Jazz for, no kidding, like 20 years, and have always been happy with them. The De-Calf, while I like to look at, I do not love to wear. I ended up cutting the stretchy laces off, and putting inregular laces, so I could tighten the shoes down as much as possible. Still, because of the low heel, this only helps a little.
I would recommend Jazz beyond any other shoes I've ever own. But the De-Calf - not so much.

The soles are so weak that you can bend these right in half. They are also too narrow for me.
Aside from these notes, they do have a great styling!

Even though they are vegan I've avoided Saucony Jazz for years. Had a pair years ago and hated the insoles (I would always get a blister on the ball of my foot). Love the eco-design of this shoe. Not as cushion-y as I had hoped but tolerable. Looking forward to breaking them in. Low-pro is the way to go.

I have mixed feelings about these shoes. On one hand, I love them. They’re the first comfortable, stylish, affordable vegan shoes I’ve been able to find. Unfortunately they don’t wear well. I’ve gone through three pairs in the last year. They fray easily and just start to fall apart after a few months of wear. I bought them again because they are so comfortable on my wide feet and are very cheap.

Cool sneakers, not as much a running shoe as regular Saucony -
These are cool sneakers, but are not as versatile as the suede/cloth Sauconys I wore previously. Just not enough support to really run in regularly. I love the style and they are great for everyday wear. But I want a knock around sneaker I can run in as well. Next time, probably I will stick w New Balance 473s.
I'd also recommend:

These shoes look more old and dingy in person than how they look on screen. The tongue also is uncomfortable.

The upper on these started wearing out almost immediately. The canvas material is not as sturdy as whatever the non vegan version of this shoe uses.

While I generally like the style and the "vegan" aspect of these shoes, they are apparently only for people with very narrow feet and that is not me. If you have medium or wide feet, you probably want to choose something else.

I want to like this shoe, but it looks absurdly bulky, and has an excessively tapered toe box. I wear 10.5 in everything, but with these, although there's ample space at the top of the toebox, my pinky toe and the one next to it -- you know, the one that got no roast beef -- are painfully scrunched up against the side of the toebox. The sole is also rigid and unforgiving, and causes my feet to cramp. I should have returned them right off the bat, but I figured they'd break in. No dice.

Used to be my favorite shoe. These feel like an imitation version of my old pair. Materials feel cardboard like, doesn't appear to be softening up or breaking in after almost a month. Pinky toes are smashed against the sides of the shoe. Looks like Saucony may have changed manufacturers but I can't imagine this much disparity between my old pair and my new pair? It's like night and day as far as comfort and fit. Definitely will be the last pair I buy

I used to love this shoe. I have worn these religiously for over 10 years, and owned about 10 pairs over that time. The only sneakers I have worn, so I know these shoes extremely well. My newest pair is, sadly, not the same. Looks the same, but feels uncomfortable. Fits narrower than before, and just overall feels not right. After comparing them to my older pairs, I see my old ones were all made in China. These new ones are made in Vietnam. The China ones are way more comfortable. I honestly don't care where they are made, but disappointed the quality went down and they don't feel good like before. This really is heartbreaking, because I always loved these shoes, and now I don't know if I can wear these new ones.

I love the style of these shoes, but have had no luck ordering by mail. Every time I get a pair I end up giving them away because they don't fit. I would return them, but it took you 3 weeks to get them to me, and I can't wait 6 weeks for a pair of shoes that I need to wear.
You need to get more styles out to your vendors. We have to be able to try them on.
I have been wearing Saucony for 20+ years. The last few years have been me trying out of customer loyalty. I might be done, not sure. I don't want to be done. They look good, but something has gone wrong in the production and delivery processes.

I've been buying Jazz Low Pros for years, and the last couple pairs I have purchased, well, they still look great, but they are anything but comfortable now. The sole is beyond stiff, and my feet & ankles are exhausted after only a couple hours of wearing them. I really wish I could give these a higher rating, but I'm really disappointed in the comfort quality of these shoes. Maybe it's because they're the vegan variety, but I'm willing to be no…

I didn't read carefully enough at the shoe store to see all the vegan items, and maybe that's the problem with them. The soles, strings, and stronger areas are in perfect condition after 2 months of use, but the top, soft areas are riddled with holes. I don't know what possibly could've made them fall apart like this, but definitely would not purchase anything with a vegan label again.
