Perfect - Purchased as a gift for my 7 year old niece - she won't take them off! Bought 1/2 size smaller - and even with a wide foot, they are roomy. She wore them right out of the box - and we walked for a couple of hours - no break in time at all!! I've been a big fan of vans for years myself...and will continue to be!!!

Always the best! I wore Vans, now my kids wear Vans. They are cute, fun, stylish, they look darn cute with a skateboard and the best thing...you don't have to stop to tie them! Easy on, easy off!

Cute shoe, runs a little big - We had to order this shoe for a Hip Hop dance routine. My daughter absolutely loves them and will, undoubtedly, wear them all summer. The one thing to know before ordering them is that because they are a slip on shoe, they run a bit big. She wears about a 3 in most shoes, but took a 1 in this. Otherwise she walked right out of the back. The same held true for the majority of her dance group, but I was thrilled with how easy it was to order thru Zappos.com. Most every order (and we ordered 4 different sizes ‘til we got it right) came overnight and what I did have to return was a breeze. As long as you have a printer to get the return label and hang onto the outer box, all you have to do is drop it off at a UPS store. I would definitely order from Zappos.com again.

Great shoe - My 3 girls love their Vans, but I had to send back my first order because the sizing is almost a full size larger. I now know to order at least a half size smaller than normal...sometimes a full size smaller depending on the size of my girls' feet at the time.

Cutest Shoes! My daughter loves these shoes! They have so many designs everyone can find one they love. And they are perfect for summer when the kids are constantly taking their shoes on and off!

The perfect summer shoe - My daughter loves her vans. They are comfortable and funky. It's sort of scary that a six year old needs funky shoes but, alas, she does. These shoes made me her hero, yet again. I was super impressed that they arrived less than 36 hours after I ordered them. How this happens, I will never know, but will always be grateful.

Polka Dots - Good looking, great shoe. Gum rubber does not mark our boat. Slip-on style is great for the beach or street.

Blue Hippo Shoes - Too Cute - We bought our 3 year old a pair of black/pink hippo vans for X-mas and she loved them. When she outgrew them, we were sad to put them up. But luckily we found them at Zappos. I have to say they were true to size. She wears a 10.5 in all other shoes and I was worried that the 10.5 vans would be too big based on previous reviews, but they fit perfectly!

Adorable shoes, fast delivery. I ordered the Vans Hippo slip-ons for my 6 year old for her birthday. She ordinarily runs a 13.5. Seeing all the reviews for the shoes saying that they ran big I figured I should go with a 13 so she'd have a bit of room to grow. We got the 13 and she was swimming in those, so I sent it back for a 12 and they fit perfectly. I don't even have to mention how quick the initial delivery was or how fast and smooth the exchange process was, but I'm very impressed with this site and the selection you have featured. Well done.

Adorable Print!!! I ordered the blue hippos for my 7 year old daughter. She usually wears a 13 to a 13 1/2. I ordered a 13, by the advice of other reviewers saying these run a bit big. I ended up sending them back and ordering a 12 1/2. They are still a little bit loose at the heel, but I think with a heel insert, they should be fine. My daughter has a narrow foot, so if you are ordering these for an average to wide foot, you should probably order a half size smaller. If you are ordering for a narrow foot, you should probably order a full size smaller. Having said that, these are really adorable shoes! Love the look and color...and as always, if you get the size wrong on the first try, Zappos makes it soo easy to return and exchange! They are so FAST!!!!

Better than expected! Fit was great (order down a size), look awesome, shipping super fast, no complaints!

Vans Kids Classic Slip-On™ (Toddler/Youth) These classic Vans are fashionable, but they truly run about a full size big. My daughter loves to wear them with almost anything, but has mentioned that they become a little uncomfortable after extended periods of wear. This, however, does not prevent her from wearing them because it is all about the fashion!

Great Shoe - My daughter loves these shoes and they are really sturdy. She usually does a pretty good job of beating up a pair of shoes but these have stood up well. The only problem with them is that they are a full size bigger than marked.

A little wide at the heel - Bought a pair for each of our three boys. Love the shoes overall. I was tempted to get the size based on the size charts provided even though other reviews said the vans came a little big. Because the heel is a little wider, and the shoe a little big, they slip up and down on the kids' heels. They love them so much, they wear them anyway. And I'm sure they will grow into them in no time.

Vans slip on shoes - Awesome shoes, brings me back to my childhood and glad my son can enjoy the same shoes we had!! A little roomy, we sized down and they fit great.

Great shoe...but, I already knew that. This shoe is perfect for my preschooler...I it's durable, comfy, and looks cool. I've been wearing vans since the 80's, so I pleased to find them for my son. Zappos is the best place to shop on the net.

A Classic Shoe For Classic Kids - This shoe NEVER goes out of style and is worth every penny. The perfect slip-on to look cool and be cool at home, school or grandma's. The size is right and so are the new styles and patterns. We love this shoe for everything we do!

Great shoes! My kids love these shoes. They are easy to put on and wash up really nicely. They just get more comfortable as they're worn.

Vans remain a classic - The shoes were good quality and good price. They tend to run on the large size [possibly even a whole size larger] than most shoes. Other than that they were great and my son loves them!

Classic checkerboard - My grandkids love these shoes. Actually the whole family wears them. Was thrilled to find them in childrens sizes. That doesn't happen often.

Second pair of Black Checkered Vans for my son - 2nd pair of Vans for my son. He loves them and they are very handy. Last a long time under regular wear and washing to keep them clean.

This is the hot shoe for kids! I have three children and I purchased a pair of these vans, in different colors, for each of them. After my daughter wore them to school, her friend liked them so much that he asked her where she purchased them. We told him ZAPPOS! He had his mom go online and he got his Vans in two days! Great service, great shoe!

surfer kid - My son loves his new checkerboard vans. He thinks he is the coolest kid in his class because he is the only one who has a pair. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. And they look great with any outfit you chose.

vans classic slip on - My 6-year old selected the slip-ons with the skull and cross bones pattern. He and his dad think they were very cool. Easy on and off and apparently comfortable.

Our son loves these shoes! These shoes are really great. Our five year old son absolutely loves his "pirate" shoes. He can't wear them to school, because of uniform requirements, but the second he gets home from school, he puts them on, and wears them until he changes for bed. Ordinarily I might not pay this much for shoes, but they will last until he outgrows them, and he thinks they are the greatest. Buy them!
