They really do run a full size larger, so be sure to order down a size! My kiddo has been wearing a size 4 in Uggs, Reeboks & North Face shoes. The 3.5 in these Vans is still too big, so we're doing a second return for a size 3. Love that Zappos is so easy to work with - thank goodness!

As far as sizing goes - my 7 year old was fitted at the Vans store. She was measured as a size 3 but has a narrow heel and foot and typically can't do slip ons which bums her out. She was able to do these in a 1.5. Crazy to go from a 3 to a 1.5 I know but it worked! So size down and then some if you have narrow feet.

My 8-year old loves these shoes. I need to exchange them though. One shoe is wider than the other. Hope the next pair are equal sizes.

Yep, they're big. Get a size smaller. I wear a size 7.5 women's shoe and my daughter wears a 4. I ordered size 4 in these shoes and they fit ME. They looked like boats on her. I returned them a while ago - still not seeing the credit on my account. Seems a bit slow this time around.

Great shoes! I ordered these for my 8 year old daughter to wear at Disneyland. They fit great, were comfortable and stylish. She says they are a little large. She has wide feet though, and these fit good width-wise.

My daughter is extremely picky with shoes. Before these shoes I bought 3 different pairs all of which she refused. This pair was the only ones she liked. They are super cute, super easy to put on and she even wears these Vans on non gym days. She usually wears a 12.5 or 13 but I bought a 12 and they fit perfect, even with room to grow. She's been wearing them for a month and they still look great. They clean well too. We all wear Vans in our house, I will definitely buy again and again!

This shoe is awesome. Purchased for our 8 year old. Comfy, unique, cute and can stand up to all the wear and tear. We have purchased Vans Kids styles for awhile now and with this shoe and the others, we still note that they run large. Buying a half size smaller than normal always does the trick!

Look the same in person. Too cute and my daughter loves them. Ordered her usual size but these seemed about a half size larger. Too cute to return so we will wait a few months to wear them.

These are so cute and my daughter loves them. They do run a littel big, but we are ok with the extra room since we are growing. We had to excahnge because the first pair ripped within the first week, but Zappos' customer service was great and we have a new pair.

Daughter loves the bunny shoes. After less than 2 months they have a hole in them. Expected better quality.

My 7-year-old daughter absolutely loves these shoes. I originally purchased a size 2 but had to return and get a half a size down because they were huge. The size 1.5 shoes fit perfectly and she wants to wear them all the time.

I was not fully familiar with Vans for my daughter - I have a pair for myself that are very comfortable and also true to size. These are about a full size big - super cute though. Can't wait to put her in them. My daughter has wide feet so I hope they work out for the summer.

Hello all. I am a frequent shopper on Zappos. I ordered these shoes for my granddaughters, 5 and 8 and they both LOVE them. If you order Vans, you know they run big. I order a size to a 1/2 size smaller than the girls actually wear. These are a winner!

My 7 year old hasn't gone a day without wearing these in weeks. Very happy with them. I heeded review advice and opted for the smaller end of her sizes.

I LOVE Zappos!!! And I love these vans. I have 4 & 5 year old girls and I bought the Vans because they were in when I was a kid. I never expected my girls to love them so much. they wear them all the time and they can easily get them on themselves. I've thrown them in the washing machine and air dried them and they look brand new. Love them!

These are absolutely adorable and seem like they will be very comfortable. But they definitely run big. I ordered the same size that my daughter has been wearing for a few months now and they are huge on her. Thank goodness for Zappos' amazing customer service and easy exchanges. I love Zappos! It is the only place that I buy shoes for my four kids.

These are so cute! I wasn't so sure when my daughter picked them but I let her decide her style. They are great and she's get a lot of compliments.

These things were so small I have no ida what is going on with the VANS Shoe product line but the sizing is crazy. We would try them on in the VANS Stores and the kids would be swimming in them then we order online and they're tiny. I called the VANS Warranty Dept 1.800.403.9466 and talked to them about a real product quality issue. The difference I've been seeing is some are made in China others in Indonesia.

No fault of Zappos, I would not suggest these sneakers. Less than a month of use & I am ready to throw them away. The Hello Kitty's are peeling on both sneakers.

Cute shoes! But, very hard to get the right size for my five year old. She loves them and they seem to be holding up - even after a washing. Great price too! Thank you Zappos for all your help!

My child, who is nine, loves the fun, expressive designs and how easy these shoes are to slip on in the morning. While we can't usually get a full school year out of these before they start to get too worn to wear, I think that's pretty average for canvas-style shoes such as these. Our Keds seem to wear out much faster than the Vans do, so if that's important to you, I'd stick with the Vans. Sizing always seems to be right on, so order the size you normally need.

Great shoes! Stiff at first, but not uncomfortable. Just a little difficult to get on. My kids love them.
