Well they look beautiful and awesome but they are very tough to put on, my little girl hates them for this reason and refuses to wear them and prefers a cheap looking brand instead.

I bought them for my 14 year old. Her size 4's fit perfectly so they are true to size as well as she loves the checkerboard. Buy them! Hope this helped. Andrea

No problems & runs true to size!!

Bought a matching pair for my child and the foot opening was so small she could barely fit it.

Our 5 year old daughter LOVES her classic pink checkered VANS but I guess the difference in fit between the toddler sizes and the kids sizes is pretty significant because we couldn't even get these on her feet?!? We even ordered one size up, but were so bummed and will be returning them.

I bought these favorite checkered slip ins for my grandson who LOVES vans! He started the school year w/ them and He was so excited to get a new pair. These are his favorite sneakers no tying! no velco! While he is active and hard on any sneaker he wore these to school, out to play mud rain even snow! He is a big tall boy who's feet grow in leaps and bounds so keeping him in sneakers that fit is not a challenge anymore when Vans offer a great price a great fit and many colors to choose from! We are hooked on Vans!

Nice shoe but too narrow. I purchase for my 9yr old who is a size 2 normally. So I purchased a size 2 1/2 and had to return for a size 3 , then a 3 1/2 but they were still too narrow! I ended up not getting the shoe. He couldn't even get his foot inside of the various sizes and if he could they would have been too long.

at first when looking at the picture, the color of the shoe was a bit dull. But, when they came i honestly loved it. the slip on shoe is perfect for kids so i definitely will be getting more.

Soooo small. My daughter is a true 11. These were like a 10 but it was the elastic that was too tight. She couldn't even get her foot inside of the shoe. Order at least a size up.

My son loves these shoes. He said they are very comfy. He likes that they're easy to slide on.

Ordered true to size based reviews and they were way too small for my daughter. Her foot wouldn't even go in the shoe, and she doesn't have a wide foot at all. Definitely have to try on in person before purchasing! We returned our purchase.

Love the selection of styles and sizes. Daughter needed next size up from her previous well-loved vans slip ons and these fit as expected! Faster than expected shipping!

WHY DON'T THEY MAKE THE CUTE SIZES IN ADULTS?? WE HAVE ALL THE MONEY!

My daughter didn't believed these would glow. She said it was "cap", she's seven, I told her to go outside to "activate" them. She ran outside at 7:30 this morning , before school. she came back in and they were glowing like crazy. She said :"Ooooooooo!" It was cool! Great price too! I love Vans , my favorites are slip ons with the neat designs. I have been tough to break in though, and I have to start going up an 1/2 size. Old Skools , I go down an 1/2 size. It is about trial and error at this point. You won't know until you start wearing them for a few days. Customer service wouldn't mind accommodating us, I most certain. ANYWAY, I AM A VANS CUSTOMER FOR LIFE

My 4 year old wanted rainbow vans so I ordered these in her new size, 11. That pushed her into kids size and not toddler size. The difference in these is crazy. Her smaller vans slip ons go on with no issues. These were impossible. I spent 15 minutes squeezing her feet in. She ended up wanting them off within 5 minutes due to how tight they are. When I took them off she had marks all over her feet from the shoes pressing so hard. We are a vans loving family but these will have to go back.

We had to cut the stretchy side of the shoe to get my child's foot in. And these shoes are actually a size larger than her normal size. So they are bigger on her foot but the opening to put them on was too small. Never seen anything like this.

We all have these, but this purchase was the 2nd pair in this design for my son. They arrived quickly and fit perfect (which means a little bit of room to grow)! We will definitely be buying these again!

Had to jump from youth 3 to men's 4, which seems weird because current shoes he is growing out of are 2 1/2. 4s fit fine and he loves them, but of course much more expensive now.

My 8 yrs old son loved the shoe. He wears it to school every day.

Son picked them and he loves them. Good quality and fit is great. We always come back for more once we out grow our shoes.
