My son absolutely loves them! The color and the size were PERFECT!!!

My 7 year old daughter loves these shoes. She really liked the purple pair that she grew out of, so we got this color and size fits her so well! We Luv!!

Very cute. Way too small. I bought next size up and could not even get my daughters foot in them.

I bought these for my Kindergartener as school shoes, but he can't even put them on independently because the tongue is too stiff and the elastic too sparse to allow a foot with any sort of an arch to slide in w/out a fight. Once they are on, they fit fine, but they are a pain on his feet! I only bought them because Vans are a required dress code indoor shoe for my son's Waldorf Kindergarten. So I bought them online, never having had an issue with him fitting into shoes before. What a waste of a purchase!

The fabric and elastic are way too stiff. My 5-year old has to use a shoehorn, and a lot of work just to get them on. Once they are on, they fit fine, but the fabric is so stiff that it doesn't accommodate a high arch well at all! They should not have skimped on the elastic, or should have made the tongue with a more pliable or stretchy fabric. What a wasted purchase!

My daughter loves these shoes . So easy for her to put on and off , but they run super small . I would say get a size or size and a half bigger .

my 5 year old has the 10.5, a little big with small fitted socks so I just have her wear thicker socks and they fit fine.

Son has been begging me for Vans, he is 8, these were his first pair, now has the checkerboard in both black and whites. He loves them, wears them everyday. Takes a wear or two to break in, but other than that, we love them!

I found what some reviewers say - that the canvas is a bit stiff and that it's (initially) hard to put on - to be true. But once my son wore the shoes a few times it softened. He loves the shoe!

New pair for the new school year. I love how I always can count on how comfortable, and cool looking vans are. My dad has worn vans his whole life,and Now I do as well. Vans are more than footwear, they are a lifestyle that can withstand time.
