Boston 11 -
These are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I would recommend then to anyone that likes room in the toe area of a shoe. What more can I say, comfort, they look great and delivery was quick. I will buy another pair of Keens and order them from Zappos. Thanks Brenda

Awesome -
I work in a hair salon and am on my feet all day (10 to 12 hrs.) and these are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

I like them...
I needed nice looking, but tough shoes for work, that would look good with jeans or Dockers-type slacks. These have worked out well - very comfortable from the start, I wear them with orthotics, and thin or medium thickness socks. I like these, and will consider another pair of Keene (this is my first pair)

Great Product -
The only problem I have with these shoes is the fact that when I put my orthotics in, the shoes squeak when I walk. This was the whole reason for going with this brand.

I'm hoping for a great travel shoe.
I bought the Keen Boston II to use as my only pair of shoes when I travel to China this summer. I needed something comfortable, sturdy, and lightweight, that would look good with casual clothes, but if I stuck on a pair of black pants and blouse wouldn't look awful. I own two other pairs of Keens, so I know the footbed is supportive and comfortable, my concern was with how well the laces and ankle area performed. I've been walking around in them and so far so good. I have a low volume foot: a little narrow but also very small across the instep and ankle. I'm using a custom orthotic footbed and relatively thick socks to take up some of that room, and that is uncommon for me. The shoes feel a little baggy across the top, but they aren't slipping around on my heel. They feel very good. These don't come in a narrow, so the fit is as stated: medium. For people who have skinny feet like me it means they are a little wide, but people like me are used to that.

I've had good luck with Rockports, but wanted something a little different.

Looking for comfort -
The Keen Boston 11 is not as comfortable as the Keen Boston I purchased in 2004. The inside support is not comparable and the shoe runs slightly shorter. The look is very nice, however, the inside should be made as the original Keen Boston. Also there is a definite squeak when walking. The service at Zappos was superb. I'd recommend Zappos to anyone looking for shoes.

Not enough cushion -
These shoes are super cute, but they aren't that comfortable. There seems to be less anatomical support than in other Keen shoes (e.g. Bronx), and the footbed doesn't seem as cushioned. The upper edge of the shoe is also a little stiff, so it tends to cut/rub a little around my Achilles tendon. I kept the shoes, but I know that I can't plan on walking long distances in them.

Not as expected but super fast shipping made it worthwhile -
Was very encouraged after reading the positive reviews of the Keen Boston II. However, the ankle support (or maybe it was this particular pair) kept digging into my Achilles’ tendon, and my feet are actually quite skinny, so it was not a case of a fat foot squeezing into a small shoe. I bought half a size up. The size was alright but the fit, with that awful ankle support made it rather uncomfortable to walk in this shoe. Had to return it. But Zappos super fast shipping and returns makes the whole experience worthwhile. Will buy from Zappos again!

Keen Boston -
This shoe fits well, I have a wide foot and it was just right and comfortable as soon as I tried it on. It doesn't have a whole lot of arch support. I think generally these are comfortable, the problem is that I don't like the look of them very much--if you have large feet like me (9.5-10)they make your feet look even bigger because they have a wide toe! So I really haven't ended up wearing these much, which is silly, I should have just sent them back!

Not for a high instep -
Ordered this shoe and had to return it, although it looks lovely. Could not get my foot into the shoe. I have a moderately high instep and the way this is cut, I could not get it on even without socks. :(

Squeaky - very squeaky -
Loved my summer Keens-Wanted the comfortable fit into the winter. Bought the Boston - Not nearly the comfort I had expected. The real problem is that shoes SQUEEK - every step. I changed innersoles, lined shoe bed w/ other materials between the bottom and side of the inner shoe - SQEAK, squeak, squeak. Like the wide toe box and the overall look - well designed for wet weather - Just disappointed with the noise, every step.
