Comfortable foot bed, uncomfortable top - The foot bed was great. I've had foot pain, and I didn't have any while I walked around the house. However, the top of the shoe hit my ankles and rubbed, which was not comfortable. I had to return them.

A bit snug - The shoe is okay, runs a little small and isn't all that comfortable at the foot bed. The material by the back of the heel wears the skin raw unless you have thick socks. Not my favorite pair of Keens, but they will do.

Keens not that great! I have several pairs of Keens...I find the sole is too soft and flexible on all of them, and I will not be buying Keens again. For walking, my orthotic expert tells me, the best bet is a firm sole! I do like the styling, which is why I have several.

I'd love to love these but I'm disappointed - I've had many Keen shoes now, each fitting my foot perfectly. These look great, a bit funky. This is the first pair that I'm not as satisfied with as the top part hits my ankle bone. I've only worn them once. I seem to reach for my other Keens before this pair. But I am going to try to wear them once again and maybe they will feel better.

Ouch!! I purchased this shoe after having worn the Keen Sarasota all summer long with no problems. I have plantar fasciitis, a flat foot and a very sensitive area on the side of my foot where a bunion once was. I love the look of these shoes; they are so cute to wear with jeans. They were comfy when I first put them on, but the longer that I had them on they started to irritate the side of my foot where the bunion used to be. I tried a second pair thinking that the first one might have been made wrong, (and based on how well the Sarasotas fit) but I was wrong! I spoke to the customer service rep at Keen and she told me that certain shoes, the Presidios included, are slightly narrower than others. Sure enough when I measured the bottoms of the Presidios against the Sarasotas they were approx a 1/4" narrower. This measurement is not listed anywhere that I'm aware of and there is no way to tell by looking at a picture so I'd be nervous to try a new shoe prior to discussing it with the people at Keen. I'm going to try the Portolas and the Briggs as she said they were slightly wider. Wish me luck!

Ouch! I bought these shoes last year for a trip where we'd be walking a lot. They were stiff at first, but I had no idea how they would tear up my heel. I had deep cuts on my heels and was too far from our base to switch shoes. I actually had to buy new shoes and haven't worn the Keens since. I may have rated the look higher if my feet were larger, but in a 6.5, the shoes are very stubby and blockish. Now they reside in my closet. My husband has worn Keens for several years and loves them so making the investment for myself was exciting. So sad!

Standardized Sizing Please! My husband has a few pairs of Keen shoes which he loves. I finally bought a pair of Presidio’s for a trip I'm currently on which requires a lot of walking. The first 3 times I wore them, my heels bled - even through band aids. The shoes themselves are very tight in the width and my toes rubbed together. My feet are of average width. I'm very disappointed and frustrated as these are quite expensive and felt fine around the house in preparation for the trip...So I'm stuck with a $100.00 pair of shoes that I can't wear and am wearing my running shoes out at night...

Cute shoe - I really like the way these look, but they are very tight where the upper part of the heel meets my achilles tendon. Was going to buy in other colors but I'm having a hard time breaking them in.

these shoes ran a bit small. I went up a half size from 9.5 to 10, and although I ordered a Med width I received a wide.

The tongue was very stiff at the top, and right where your foot is the most tender. Was not able to tie it loosely to compensate because the heel was very roomy, so to keep the back of the shoe from slipping down with every step, you needed to tie it securely down on the tongue. So there was no way to get around the discomfort of the tongue.

I wanted to love this shoe, but didn’t - there is just too much shoe. Thick, over padded, heavy.

Love the look and color, but the material, despite fairly deep toe box, was too stiff for my crossover toes. So sad!

Cheap materials and the edge around where the ankle sits is too high.

Okay these definitely don't fit like my original Presidios. As some other reviewers have noted, this design has significantly changed and not for the better. They have hard insoles now and the back of the shoe by the achilles is hard as a rock and super uncomfortable. So I'll be returning these and looking for a new walking shoe brand.

The toe box was nice and roomy. The sole was not comfortable. It felt too rigid, not like some older Keen shoes like this.

Keen Presido Black 10.5 Womans. I know these are very popular, but they look like clown shoes. Heels slip even with runner's loop lacing. Left shoe has something off with it...very uncomfortable.

Felt very hard around my feet--not much flexibility in this shoe, which made it hard putting them on. I thought they were cute, though. Bummer that they didn't feel very good on my feet.

I have lots of pairs of Keen shoes and these don't really seem like they are the same brand. Even though I ordered a half size up, they were still too narrow. Bummer since I have had really good experiences with Keens in the past.

I found these to run a bit small. Plus ... ugly.

Not comfortable and did not like the shiny gray on the suede in person. Returned. Not worth the expense.

I have a problem I purchased a couple years ago and love them so much...sturdy, well made shoes. Bought a or recently..same size but felt a full size smaller...not as well made. Sad they had to spoil a great thing.

I was excited to see a shoe with such a wide toe box for my wide feet. However, these shoes are very stiff & uncomfortable. The tongue & top of shoe smash down on the top of my foot & they don't bend with the foot at all. Sadly, I am still in search of a wide, comfortable shoe.

The overall sizing was good as to length as width. However the shoe depth is cut almost a half inch lower at the heels which made my heel slide up and I felt like it would come right out of the shoe. This also reduced any support in the heel/ankle area. This factor made me give both overall and comfort ratings of two stars. I was very disappointed in Keen for making these changes to an otherwise excellent shoe. Thank you Zappos for making the return such a customer friendly process. I'd give you ten stars for this!

Bought the flint stone/steel gray but actually they are much more blue than gray. Even the shoelaces are blue. The leather under the tongue and around the inside of the heel is tan in color-doesn't match the shoe at all! These are going back.

I ordered these shoes for a trip to Norway. I wanted something that would hold up on rainy days so I wouldn't get my feet wet and something with a wide toe base. I thought they would be perfect from other reviews. They do have a wide toe base and that part was great, but they are also too wide in the heel. I tried them with heavier socks, but my heel slipped and I was afraid I would get blisters. They aren't the cutest shoes, but I was looking for comfort and wearability. I had to send them back because the heel was too wide.
