Comfortable, roomy fit. They squeak when walking. Compared them to an older pair. The inside tongue and lining around opening of shoe are leather now versus cloth. Probably will last longer than the cloth lining.

Couldn't tell from pictures online that the toe box area is much larger than I expected; because of that, shoe doesn't look very stylish but I'm sure shoe would be more comfortable for hiking. Because I will not be wearing shoes for hiking and wanted something more stylish, I'm returning them.

At first I thought they might be too small. The tongue hit my instep, but the half size up felt a bit too loose in the heel. I walked around a bit in them and they are a fine fit. I wanted something that felt like a sneaker for city walking but didn't look too much like I forgot to take my running shoes off. So far they suit me fine. BTW....the comments about the toe box being too small did not make sense to me. Maybe my toes are tiny?

The jury is finally in on these Keen Presidio's. As I have a previous pair in the same size, and they fit like a glove from Day One, I couldn’t pinpoint what made me hesitate on these. I wore them for short periods at home but today wore them for longer while visiting a parent. And I am now sure, the left heel is loose. This is odd as that’s my larger foot. I tried all options; pulled laces tighter; added thin cushion; tried different socks; with the Keen inner sole vs without. On my prior pair the ½ size up worked perfectly with orthodics. But these do not. I don’t know if it’s a manufacturing flaw but the left heel is definitely too wide open and even brought on foot discomfort after a couple hours walking around my mother’s carpeted home. These shoes are amazing - if they fit; you can kick a rock or stumble on a concrete step and not injure yourself. The support is great. They are very sturdy and balanced. They STAY tied without double knots. I could walk much further and longer without foot pain. Toe box is superb, they get lots of wiggle room, so feet don’t heat up. Good air circulation. Too bad this pair is a dud!

This looks good and feels good and fits well like my old pair of Presidios. True, as another reviewer pointed out, they do squeak, but so does an old pair of Merrell's that I've worn happily for years. It doesn't bother me. At least with the Presidios, I know the source of the squeak - the tongue - which can presumably be softened. I got the brindle color, that works well as a neutral color, with blacks, greys and browns. I plan to use these as a substitute for athletic shoes, which I don't like. Leather is more versatile all year long.

I love Keens and wear them almost exclusively. I looked for a lace-up last year to replace my old winter Keens, but couldn't find a style that I liked. Renewed my search this year and bought these. I really like them! They look a little bowling-shoe-ish, but in a good way. They are comfortable, with the Keen wide toe box. However, I can't give them 5 stars overall because they seem a tiny bit narrower than usual, but not narrow enough to send them back or deter me from wearing them. Love the Cascade Brown color.

I always wear size 9 M, but this shoe was short in the toe box. I have painful Morton's Neuroma and must have room and support for toes. The shoe is stiff and gave great support to entire foot and I will try a 1/2 size larger. The Brindle/Desert Sun color of this shoe is actually somewhat olive instead of the chocolate milk color in photo.

Good shoe with durable quality

They were more nicely made than I pair of Presidios that I purchased 2 years ago.

These felt small & the depth of toe room feels shallow. They look great & are what I was looking for, but will have to return & look for a shoe with more toe wiggle room. I bought these, for a new job & am planning to be on my feet for 8 hours & know the history of Keens=comfort. I will keep looking & know that with Zappos, I will find a perfect match:) Thank you Zappos!

I had high hopes for these because of the roomy toe box, but I can't snug them up enough in the heel to work for me. They're funky looking, which is good in Austin, and I'm disappointed the don't work. I have a narrow foot so if you don't and you like the look, go for it.

I really like Keen shoes as they seem to have enough width in the toe box to accommodate my feet. I like the Cascade Brown/Shitake color as they can go with a number of different clothing and still look good. I can walk quite a while with these shoes and have recently started at a gym for more exercise and they work well there. For normal people's feet the arch support is most likely fine. I have really high arches. I had to get some gel insoles as the bottom of my feet did not get comfort from the supplied insoles. I think that is because my feet have lost some of the cushioning due to my age. It hasn't rained here for quite a while so I can't write about how they would handle being wet but I think they are supposed to be somewhat weather proof but not waterproof.

These shoes are very comfortable but I did not like the style. I wanted something a little less clunky. I have other Keen sandals and I know they are thicker and clunkier than other shoes. I just thought maybe this particular style might be a bit slimmer -- it's not. It's a typical Keen shoe, and they are just fine, if that is what you're looking.

I bought these to replace a previous pair of these that I own. they are about 15 years old and the soles came off.( I am thinking of taking them to a shoe repair place and have them re glued.) Other than that are are in good condition. The pair described above will probably not last as long. My older pair is leather lined in wear areas and this shoe those areas are fabric. Just another way things get made to wear out sooner. Other than that they are great.

This is my fourth pair of Keen Presidio's and I am overall pleased with the fit. I hope Keen goes back to making the insole and tongue with leather instead of the current mesh material. It feels as if the shoe has been redesigned as well - it seems much stiffer out of the box and a bit chunkier than my previous pairs. Still pretty comfortable and right out of the box I still never worry about blisters or sore spots. My favorite pair of Presidio's was the Midnight Navy/black combo. I've emailed Keen several times suggesting other colors, especially a green/olive combination - I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Returning these. While the color and style were appealing, the fit and weight were not. They were heavier weight and the sole was not very flexible, something I was looking for. I have returned them for Keen CNX sole which is light weight and flexible for walking.

I just don't know what it is about this pair of Keens. Every time I put them on and walk around, the bottoms of my heels hurt. I have 2 other pair of Keens like this and they all around fit better and don't hurt the bottom of my heels. Also , I noticed the right shoe "bumper" seems off, like crooked or something.I noticed this right away when I got them, I tried to ignore it and tell myself that nobody would notice this, but it bugged me. Also , the shoe laces seem like there already fraying...So sorry that these didn't work for me. Thank you Zappos, for your service of ordering, and especially being able to return shoes that just aren't quite right. Overall, the shoes just didn't fit like my other Presido Keens, and were not as comfortable.

I got these shoes in the brown (shitake) color. I've been wearing them shoes for a few weeks and like them very much. They seemed really stiff at first, and it took a few days to start breaking in. There is leather at the back of the heel, which is usually the first place sneakers start wearing down on me so I'm looking forward to see how the leather lasts. The shoes have very nice arch support, and there's a leather footbed that molds to the heel nicely. I'm used to the mesh type that starts peeling away from the side and back of the shoe, so this is a nice change. I usually wear a size 8.5 in sneakers but due to the ample amount of room in the toebox and the defined arch support, my feet were moving around a lot inside. The size 8 is perfect.

I have half a dozen pairs of this same shoe in different colors. I always order an 8.5. For some reason this shoe felt way too small. The other pair of Keens in the same order of the same size fit fine. Fortunately Zappos has great service so not to worry. Typically a very comfortable shoe.

These were really comfy and sturdy, but were incredibly clunky looking - I was looking for something that would be both functional and attractive, and this does not fit the bill for attractive.

Nice shoe but the heel was too loose for my comfort.

I purchased the Tandori Spice color and so, so wanted to keep these. The arch support just wasn't where I needed it and even a switch of the insert didn't work. The back came off my heel easily. I am really disappointed this pair didn't work for my foot! I really like the style and color!

I have bad feet, so finding shoes that actually feel good is a chore. Presidio has everything I was looking for except they have one major problem: the heel slips, at least on me. Everything about this shoe is perfect, the size, the width, the overall fit, except for that. I don't know if I can handle this kind of slippage since I'm afraid it will irritate my heel. I want to make these shoes work and I'm so upset I'll probably be sending them back.

I wear these for work with scrubs. The are not super cushy, so at the end of a long busy day, my feet have hurt, so I tried to add thin gel cushion while wearing support hose, and that helped for those kind of days. I also tried taking out the Keen lining and adding a thicker gel insole, but i didn't like it. Mostly though I just wear them as they are made, with their insole and wearing compression socks, and I like them. I don't want any type of platform like with danskos or other similar work shoes, I like these more. The footbed is nice and roomy to spread and wiggle toes, and the leather becomes softer but still is sturdy enough to protect your feet. They haven't gotten smelly at all from my sweaty feet, so they're great for work every day.
