Most comfortable shoe ever. Style not so much, but definitely comfortable

This is my third pair of Keen Presidios, and I can't say enough about this shoe. I developed arthritis in one foot following an injury and have struggled finding a shoe that accommodates my high arches and the arthritis. The shoe has a roomy toe box, which is typical of Keen's shoes in general, and has good arch support. I highly recommend this shoe.

Comfortable right out of the box for hours of standing and walking. Very attractive shoe and wears well in both wet and dry conditions. Truly one of the best shoes ever purchased.

I need a shoe with a wide toe box, as I have bunions. i have worn this Presidio tie shoe for years. Unfortunately, Keen has discontinued the Presidio Mary Jane model which I also have worn for years, but at least I can still order my favorite walking shoe, the Presidio tie model. I have taken this shoe to Europe for extended vacations and plan to take it again this spring. It is comfortable during long days of sightseeing and walking. I highly recommend this shoe.

I bought this shoe for a trip to Europe this spring. I've worn it 2 days without taking it off, and it is very comfortable. The toe box is round and allows room for arthritic toes and hugs my low volume foot with the lacing.

My size 12 medium feet have finally found a womens Keen which actually fits in length as well as in the heel. I like to wear them barefoot but could also fit socks into them. I need to experiment with lacing techniques to lock the toe box area in a bit tighter while leaving top of shoe looser. If your foot is on the narrower side, the toe box may be a bit too wide for you, but I like plenty of room for my toes to spread out. Low arch support is perfect for my flat feet and I find the stiffer but still flexible sole really supports my feet. These are so perfect for me that I bought a second color and the mesh version from the Keen website since Zappos was out of my size, but Zappos will always be my first choice due to the superb customer service and return policy

I now have three pairs of the Presidios...brown, black and plum. I wear them at dog shows and also for training at times. For a dressier shoe (well, for me they are dressier...usually I wear running shoes) they provide very nice support. NO BREAK-IN period for me with these shoes! I have quite a wide foot and these Keens are nicely wide in the toe box. I just can't say enough great things about these shoes. On the downside, they are not particularly attractive but hey...I'm at that age where comfort is far more important than how something looks. I wish they came in some lighter colors...pale gray light buff for example. P.S. I know several women who also have these shoes and they adore them as well!!

These are the BEST shoes ever...they are comfortable from the minute you start to wear them and fit perfectly....the style is great and I am happy you brought back the blue shoe....I have been buying this style for many years and will continue to do so...Thank you for an excellent product.

I ordered the 9.5 size for my true 9.5 foot and these were very big. I need them for an upcoming Spain trip and they looked more like hiking boots than a good walking shoe. I wear dresses and skirts when I travel and these were just too clunky for city walking. These Keens are perfectly made with great, solid leather with a very solid toe protector. They would make super hiking shoes and if I were to hike I'd buy the same shoe and size as they would give me plenty of room for the two pair of socks (a liner and the heavy sock) that I need when I hike. This is one of my favorite shoes for work. I walk all day, over 5 miles, on concrete. This shoe gives good support, lasts for years and is comfortable all day long. I have tried other sneaker brands and I always return to Keen.

I love these Keen leather shoes. I purchased the cascade brown in a size 7. The toe box is wide and comfortable, and I can spend all day in these shoes without my feet hurting. I'm a sneakers / comfy shoes type person, so I feel like I'm dressing up my colder weather wardrobe when I wear these!

Purchased these for work and I wish I had bought them sooner! They replaced a pair of Presidio's I've been wearing almost daily for the last 4 years. They're durable, stylish and incredibly comfortable.

I believe I wrote an earlier review of this shoe. I've been wearing these shoes all winter and I think these are the best everyday shoes I've ever owned. I wear them all day in total comfort. They are very stable as well. I hope Kean continues to make them and I plan on buying a second pair next fall. I added a layer of cush under the liner. I wear them with woolen socks. The toe room is wonderful and the overall fit is great. Best shoe for everyday I can ever remember owning.

The Medium width is very wide. Almost too wide, fits both my custom orthotics with room to spare. These are leather but not stiff. I have major issues in both feet, bunion plus a screw in one; 2 artificial joints, rod, AFO on other. But these shoes are great!!!

My wife loves this shoe for comfort and support - a good walker. This is her second pair; still wearing the first. Wish all pairs were solid colors of various earth tones.

I *love* these shoes. Keen was known for their medium/wide-ish toe box shoes. I feel that they have narrowed the toe box in most of their shoes but these ARE WONDERFUL! I did go up a half size but I routinely do that in Keen shoes. I will be saving up and buying more of these - blueberry and another brown pair. They also go with jeans, slacks and I wear them all the time. Please keep making these!

Comfortable shoes also provide a level of safety as work shoes. Durable construction with stylish Keen details, these shoes are classic Keen fit. Wide toe box for piggies to spread out, but not too wide to cause heel slippage. I wear a 9 in Keen sandals and 9.5 in my Keen hiking shoes (for swelling and thick socks). I tried both a 9 and 9.5 in these because I was worried about swelling and my little toe rubbing, but the 9.5 was too loose. I've been wearing the 9's now for a week, and they are molding to my feet, and nothing rubs at all. I still have a little space at the toe, but I only wear thin socks or support hose to work - if you want thick socks, then you may consider the larger size. I have the black ones and I wear them with scrubs usually. They would look fine with slacks also, and probably walking shorts and leggings too.

I really think I have to say that these are probably the best shoes I've ever owned. Keen gets it about making shoes supportive, comfortable and to FIT PROPERLY !!! Thanks Keen and thank you Zappos.

My sister was in town wearing Keen Presidios in black. She had great things to say about them, and I ordered a pair for myself. Great fit - more room in the toe than many other sneaker-type shoes. Love them and will get more!

I love how keens fit my feet & this shoe is no exception. I trusted the reviews and they are right one. Plenty of support & toe room. I did have to pay to have the left one stretched (top to bottom of are right in front of my arch was tight) but now it's perfect. Love them!!

I first saw the Presidio at a dog show. The grass was sopping wet and when I saw two different women wearing the same LEATHER shoes, I had to ask what they were! This was over the summer. I then waffled literally for months, because these shoes are so dang ugly. I finally gave in an orderd a pair in plum (with blueberry had been available then!). Although I purchased them to wear for showing, I've found them to be SO comfortable that I've worn them for training my dog, shopping, going to the farmers market, pretty much everything! They are both supportive and comfortable, yet reasonably lightweight. So while I still hate the way they look, I'm in love with how they feel. And I've had several other women ask about them...they're loving the plum color! I found the Presidio to run true-to-size for Keen...I always order a 9, and these fit perfectly. P.S. I have a *very* wide food (2E), and these shoes (with their wide toe box) fit fine. The laces allow you to do a lot of adjusting / customizing. The two women who were googly-eyed over the color turned out to own their own Presidios (just not plum). One also has a very wide foot, the other has a narrow foot! Amazing, right?

Comfortable. Good arch support. Wide toe box -fits my wide foot with a high instep well. Nice dark blue. I did go up about a 1/2 size as I usually need a W width.

I have 3 pairs of this style. Super supportive, comfortable, roomy toe box. Keen has changed this shoe a bit since my first pair. They now make them with a fabric lining, my first pair was all leather lined. I prefer the leather. They also have changed the tounge and upper portion around the ankle area, its cut a bit lower now. I prefer the older version. But all things aside....it's still a very sturdy, comfortable shoe that will last you a long time. I've not worn out a pair yet, just added new colors to my collection. Order your usual size, I added extra padding as they run a bit wide for me, but I suppose a thick sock would work also. They look great with jeans!
