Cool looking! The shoes are so cool looking. Unfortunately they were too narrow and I have returned them. They could work for somebody with narrower feet. Zappos service = 5 Star!

Nice shoes - These shoes are comfortable and look nice, but they feel smaller and narrower than the size indicates. The back of the heel is also higher than other brands of similar shoes, but it's still comfortable.

Gel 130 TR - My jazzercise instructor recommended these shoes. I read the reviews before placing my order; I noticed that approximately 10% of the responses mentioned how high they come up on the ankle bone. They do come up high. I wore them for three days and they hurt my ankle bone. I decided to give it one more day. The fourth day was much better, so I decided to keep them. They are very comfortable. No more problems with the ankle bone, unless I miss a couple days of jazzercise...then my ankle bone gets sore again. All in all they are a "keeper."

Good all around shoe - I was searching for a good exercise shoe for cardio kickboxing and after ordering 5 or 6 pairs this seemed to offer the most stability for the side to side movements and kicks. It is true to form for the purpose I needed it for. There is slight discomfort where the top of the shoe hits above my ankle, on the inside; but I am confident that my foot will adjust with all the other good qualities. More "sporty-looking" and not really the "prettiest" shoe in the club, but I was beholden to a model that offered a perfect 11 and a half size. Thanks Asics, for offering more precise sizing, and Thanks Zappos for easy free returns on my way to the best fit!

Review of the Asics Gel - I purchased these shoes as a gift to my father for Christmas. He spends 8+ hours on his feet daily. I have asked him how they worked out and he said they have made a big difference in how his feet feel at the end of the day.

As a fitness instructor I am always looking for comfortable and supportive shoes for work. These have worked out very well for both step aerobics and hi/lo. I consider them a studio shoe. The only problem I have found is that when I first used them, one foot felt like it was falling asleep during step class but that sensation has gone away.

Does the job! My only complaint about this shoe is the back-ankle part is a little uncomfortable. Like when I point my toe, the back digs into my ankle/Achilles tendon a little. But as long as you wear socks that go up a little higher, they are fine.

I LOVE Asics shoes. I was thrilled to be able to order wide, however I forgot to adjust the size to accommodate the width. Oh well, lesson learned! I still love my shoes!

The shoe feels generally great, but does go up a little more around the ankle area. Used once for TaeBo and they gave good foot support for lateral movement as well, just have to break in the ankle area, otherwise shoe is very comfortable. Will try for Running and see how they do.

LOVE 'EM! I already own one pair of Asics that I love, but I ordered these because I like the dark color to wear with my darker colored clothing. These black Gel 130TR's are extremely comfortable and look even better! They fit true to size and are just the right width. However, they're a little deep, so I'm adding some orthotics to the inside to raise my foot upwards a bit. I'd definitely recommend this shoe!

Great Shoe - I do not have high arches and the support in these shoes is great. Shoes run small to size had to return the first pair but Zappos was great and got 1/2 size larger with no problem

Asics Gel-130 TR - Fit is good...if you have a wide foot like I do, it may be a little tight where the top lace hits. They break in quickly and have good support.

Walker - I needed a shoe that can stand up to long walks daily, work in a retail store and the occasional aerobics class. These work great. Heel is a little high in the back.

Great support for kickboxing class. Not so great for running. Felt a little short.

Aerobic shoes - Overall-satisfied with this shoe. One was a little stiff and tight the first day, but eventually became more comfortable. I like the support it lends during my aerobic class. And the looks of the shoes are okay. I could not find wide with sizes at local dept. stores, which is why I looked online.

Review Asics GEL-130 TR - The shoes are very comfortable and stylish. However, the primary purpose for the purchase was for exercise. The rubber soles are slippery and do not grip surfaces well. That makes them difficult to use for the intended purpose.

I think it’s a good shoe over all, and it gives me the support I need, but it did feel a little snug for the size I ordered. I ordered a half size bigger than I usually wear so it would not be snug and had I not done so I would have had to return the shoes.

Asics not true to fit - My second pair of Asics bought a wide size and they are not as comfy as my first pair.

Asics GEL-130 TR - I have trouble with my heels aching. After reading some of the reviews I ordered these. They are cute but feel a bit snug through the toe bed. Especially next to my pinky toe. The overall support is great. Will give them a try at my group fitness class. 1 class and I will be able to tell if they are great or not- so will up date this if they are not ok.

Very happy w/purchase - I was looking for a shoe that would give a little more support on the sides of my feet for doing kick-boxing & aerobics, vs. just toe to heel. I love Asics running shoes so I thought I would give these a try. I am very happy with these shoes. The backs are a little higher up on the ankles than running shoes, therefore a little uncomfortable until you get used to that.

Walking with Asics - I am an avid walker and have always loved Asics. They are great shoes. These are a little heavier and right now a little warm but just wait until winter. It was so easy to order with Zappos and what a great selection!

Not too shabby.... My first pair of Asics. I usually wear New Balance b/c I need a wide shoe. These gel's were snazzy looking, very comfortable, decent support, and a bit tight in the width, but became comfortable quickly.

Not Fully Satisfied - Wide but hurts my little right toe. It's tight. Bought another pair Reg size shoes and it fits better.

Not as I expected - Shoes are very hard to brake in & not the mot comfortable in the world. My very 1st pair of Asics and I cannot say that I would purchase another pair.

Too tight! I have worn Asics Gel running shoes for many years -- I love them! I figured that the Asics cross training shoe would fit the same. I was wrong. This shoe is much tighter for the same size and terribly uncomfortable. They seem to have very little cushioning and they hurt my feet!
