These are great shoes. I am not diabetic, but I have other foot problems. Buying from Zappos is a easy experience. The site is easy to use, and the information is comprehensive.

I decided to try these because I have very wide feet and it is very difficult to find wide widths offered. I am actually a 6E width and these were 5E but were made of leather so I expected them to stretch a little and they have. They are comfortable to wear 8 hours or more a day and my wife says they look good on me. Since I have no innate sense of style you will have to take her word for it.

My experience doing business with Zappos has been exceptionally good - easy to do business. I previously purchased shoes from you and returned them shipping paid both ways and received instant credit. Later I purchased shoes from our local shoe store with the stipulation I could wear them for thirty days and return them if not satisfied - but not knowing until I did return them that my money would not be credited. The store has a "no refund policy" and it was noted on the very small sales receipt but never mentioned when I purchased the shoes. I have plantar fasciitis, and the support in these shoes is better than most. New Balance shoes are also good. I use these for working in my woodshop, because you can put them on and take them off easily. I usually wear 11 and look for narrower shoes (hard to find). The Propets run short and narrow, so I had to go with 11-1/2. Their Medium (D) option feels like a C, so works perfectly for me.

I have diabetic neuropathy and these were recommended to me, as well as showing up on a Google search for "diabetic shoes." These are the jazz, folks. Seriously. There is still some pain and difficulty because they do not cure neuropathy, but they mitigate its effects when walking or standing very well. These are a blessing.

Excellent shoe, very comfortable, I have extra wide feet and this one works well for me. Have worn many pairs of these for years. Velcro nice touch especially when the back is sore! Wish they came in other colors besides white and black. Only complaint.

The shoes are very comfortable and a good value. I am diabetic and need shoes with a higher instep. These shoes fit great.

The shoes are very soft so there is no need to break-in the shoe. The Velcro straps help with swollen feet.

I bought these shoes for my dad who is 80 years old. He has an awful corn on the side of his very wide foot. He now has less pain and he loves the shoes and how they fit. I hate Velcro shoes but these are pretty good looking. Well worth the money for a happy feet for my dad.

I bought these for my 92 year old father. He wears a 10 1/2 Wide. His feet are swollen much of the time and these shoes fit so well. They are very soft on the top side, the velcro tops can be closed easily, and the shoes provide great support and traction. This is a great shoe. These shoes are perfect, with swelling feet am unable to wear regular shoes, and after spending an enormous amount for upgrading size, etc. found these and they are remarkable

I bought this for someone who has problems with the swollen feet. The 2W model looked very large. When we got this one, 6w, we thought it wouldn't work because they looked so narrow. They are excellent. The look narrow, but they are wide inside and feel great.
