Patience Pays Off!! I've just placed an order for my *second* pair since my first pair is about worn out. I LOVE these shoes! Likes others have stated, they are a bit stiff in the heels initially, but with a little time and patience they soon break in and can be worn quite comfortably, even with socks. While breaking them in I used medical tape, which was enough to keep my skin from getting rubbed raw. Then I just wore them for short periods for a while. I usually wear a 7.5, but they felt too loose and the heel was still stiff, so I got them in a 7.

Love these, but Ouch! I got these less than 24 hours after ordering. Wow! And love the look. The comfort is much better than other Converse, except, like others, my heels are killing me! At first I thought I was okay, until the day wore on and my skin wore off. I am waiting to heal before attempting again. It sounds like they will stretch, and I hope they do because they look great.

Love em, Love em, Love emmmmm - I love these shoes!! I have had 2prs of black ones and 1pr of the Fossil color. Have been looking all over for these.The molded foot bed fits like a glove, but could have a little more cushioning.I would buy these in all colors... hope Converse will make more of this style & more colors.

FAVORITES!! I've worn these almost every day for over a year and love them so much. Their fit is so different from a regular Con and it literally feels like a great leather glove on your foot.

A great standard - I’m very happy with my new shoes. Like some other reviewers I did have some rubbing on one heel the first few days, but they loosened up. They are now quite comfortable! I ordered my regular size, and they fit perfect.

Cute and Comfy! They are very cute! However, the shoe ran a half size big…but they were still comfortable. The back of the shoe is a bit uncomfortable at first until the shoe is broken-in a bit. The back of the shoe is just pretty stiff. Overall a good shoe!

I would like to start out saying that these shoes are adorable. However, I have now exchanged these shoes three times. Maybe my feet have shrunk, maybe all the shoes I've ever worn have been smaller than marked, but I usually wear an 8-8.5 and I own these in 7! Which makes no sense to me considering I have also thought I have wide feet. Thanks to Zappos wonderful customer service and return policy it wasn't expensive or terribly time consuming to exchange and exchange them again. If you are thinking about purchasing these shoes, I suggest buying them at least a half size smaller than you think you need.

Love them! These shoes are awesome. Very pleased with my purchase. Heel takes awhile to get broken in, but most new shoes do.

Groovy - I got these to take with me on a trip where I knew I was going to be walking all day. Haven't got a chance to do that yet, but like some other reviews, I had to break in the heel a bit first. Other than that, they look nice, love the leather, and are very comfortable. Would have liked just a bit more padding on the bottom, but love them.

That's what I'm talkin' about! Okay, I have other Converse shoes in my normal size 10 & they're absolutely perfect. However, the back of these shoes were so irritating (blisters, bleeding!) I stopped trying to walk in them & ordered a size up. 10.5 worked out, and I'm thrilled. I adore the fitted look- very European. I only wish these came in more colors! I'd buy them all... in 10.5, of course. I don't know why they're so turned in the back- it seems I'm not the only reviewer that found this. Converse- PLEASE make more colors!

Love 'Em! The only reason I gave them a 4 on comfort was that the back of the shoes hurt my heels at first. I just used some Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Plus for the first couple of times, and then I didn't need to use it anymore because apparently the shoes stretched out just enough that it didn't aggravate my heels anymore. Not sure how other people would respond to them though. Very comfortable to knock around in all day long now. Very practical with the black leather--don't have to worry much about them getting too dirty.

Converse All Star Deluxe Ox - Wow!!! I bought these shoes and they are great. Had to buy a pair for my mom too! Because of other reviews I bought them in a size 8.5. A half size smaller than my normal size 9. The fit is perfect and the support is great. I've just bought two more pair from somewhere else in black and brown (because Zappos doesn’t sell them in these colors). Wonderful summer shoes :-)).

Love these sneakers! I get so many compliments on these cute, unique Converse sneakers. They're way more comfortable than Chucks because of the cushioned insole, and I wear them nearly every day.

Love these guys!!! Love these shoes! They are a great alternative to regular athletic shoes. I dance in mine and the cap toe comes in really handy. They are very stylish - and this from someone who doesn't wear athletic shoes except for working out, but I will wear these out!

Converse leather All Star - I love the look! The leather is such a great look with the milk color toe and the red writing on the backside. Fit is accurate to size. The width is nice and roomy too. The laces are thinner than an average active shoelace which adds to the originality. Love these shoes!

These are GREAT Sneakers! These are GREAT, unique and most importantly COMFORTABLE sneakers. This is the second pair I own, I want to make sure I always have a pair for the foreseeable future, if you can still get these shoes, BUY them, your feet and fashion sense will thank you for it!

Love them but... The white rubber toe piece is always getting scuffed and dirty, so I am continually cleaning marks off the toes. But they are super cute and comfy, and I always get compliments. Also, I read from other reviewers that the shoes run large, (which is true) so I bought a half size smaller, and that was very helpful.

Comfy and Cute! I absolutely love these shoes! They are so cute; everyone always asks where I got them. They are unbelievably comfortable; they have this comfort insole that totally supports your foot. I just bought another pair and if they come in a different color, I'll buy them too!

Way too cool - I've gotten so many wonderful compliments on these shoes...I always get "Are those LEATHER???" Very comfortable...no blisters or sore spots. I really, REALLY like these shoes.

Cute, cute, cute!!! I just got these today (ordered yesterday!!) and I love them (not to mention the customer service!!! Excellent!!!). They are so cute, and I think they are going to be quite comfortable. Certainly more comfy than my All Stars because the sole is more flexible and molded to your foot. It does feel like it's going to rub a bit on the back of my heel, but not nearly as much as other Chuckies. And, not nearly as much as most of my dress shoes. I just hope I'm as hip and trendy as they make me feel! :-)

Love 'em! I'd been looking for a casual shoe for ages and didn't like what I saw until I found these in a store, but they didn't have my size. Friend recommended Zappos and I went on the site at 10pm last night and, even though it's less than 2wks to Christmas AND we've had 4inches of snow today, they delivered by 5pm today! (Well done Zappos AND UPS!) Now to the shoe: I also have narrow long feet and normal Converse don't fit me at all - I seem to fall between sizes and they look like boats. These are great, they fit like a glove (so I wouldn't necessarily recommend if you have a wider foot), with great arch support and look really stylish. I love the modern take on the classic Converse low top. I think they may come up slightly big as I normally take US 9.5 and I ordered 9. My only complaint would be that one of the tongues is currently digging in a bit but I’m confident that will soften soon. All in all, really happy and got my eye on the Mary Jane for Spring...

Now a Converse convert - I have narrow feet and dress pretty casually. I'm usually in flip flops or ballet flats. Since we're getting some cold weather in SoCal and I'm going to the East coast for the holidays I needed a cool shoe that could wear with warm socks! This show fit the bill. I was surprised how form fitting they are to my skinny feet and look great with jeans. I've tried on Chucks in the past but no dice because of the width and shape. I'm glad they finally made Chucks for "me"! Black is good but I don't dig the white mint color. I wish they came in Navy or grey. I wear a 6.5 so I went for a 6, perfect fit.

Lovem - I have long been a Chuckie fan for their classic style and versatility, well Converse has taken that up a few notches with the Ox. They have padding and light arch support unlike Chuckies and the sleek design adds to its retro-modern appeal. The size I ordered fits but if I wear anything other than thin socks I might be in trouble; a tiny bit snug but may give in time.
