Complete comfort - A great, extremely padded and comfortable shoe. I wouldn't wear it for tennis though, it's too light weight, you'll rip it to pieces in no time.

Ok shoes - They felt true to size and width but after standing on my feet for a couple hours at work they began to make my feet ache. Still very good shoes.

Painful Classics - These shoes look great on and I have had lots of compliments. The downside, they have a narrow toe box that carves into your instep.

Not quite what I remember, but fine - I think the appeal of these is that they are simple, the logo is discreet and they should be comfortable. The fit was a full size too small. I normally wear 9.5 to 10 and this is my first 11. They are ok for comfort but I remember them being better, but that was back in the 70s. I'm keeping them but I don't think I'd order them again.

Adidas - These were actually the most uncomfortable shoes to break in. They seemed too narrow and on the right shoe, where the seams were joined right at the bottom of the tongue/laces, it was sewn wrong and pressed right on the nerve of my foot. It was VERY painful and I had to pad that area until they broke in - about 2 weeks.

Classics - These shoes are nice. I really like the clean classic look they have. I work on my feet walking and running so I definitely needed insoles. Also they are not water resistant. Other than that I like them.

Very average - Looks OK, somewhat cheap, but pretty uncomfortable shoes. May try to break in, but kind of regret I wore them outside, can't return. Advice: try to walk in it for a couple of hours in the house, then you'll know for sure if you want to keep them.

What's the deal with the poor quality? I just put these sneakers on for the first time and walked around to see how they fit - now the "leather" is all creased and messed up looking! What kind-of quality is this? The materials used to make this shoe are definitely of poor quality. Not exactly worth the price, eh? They look fine, just kind-of cheap - like a knock-off version you'd find on Canal Street or something, except these are the real thing. I wonder if you could find knock-offs that are higher quality?

Can’t seem to break these in - This is my second pair of Stan Smith. I loved the first pair, which was white/light lavender. I have a narrow heel, and I loved how those fit, even though they took a couple of days to break in. But this new pair, which is white/white, has proven impossible to break in. They just hurt. I've tried everything- opening the laces very wide, wearing them sockless for more room, wearing early in the day, but nothing helps, they are just so tight. Also they seem short at the toe. I wish I could return them but they are already worn, as I was trying them out. The difference between these and my first pair seems that these are marked as a men's size, and my first pair were specifically women's size. Maybe these are cut different.

Looks, But Not Comfort!! These shoes are originals and ring true to their looks. However, build quality and comfort level are missing. They lack support if you do not have all that great of feet to begin with and are very stiff and uncomfortable for a while till they break in. Still a classic look-- 5 stars for that, but unmatched to the classic Superstars!!!!

Style changed - My son likes the Adidas shoe that is white with the 3 stripes down the side. I order a shoe which I thought was the same as the one he always buys, but when it arrived we discovered that the styles has changed somewhat. There are no raised stripes. There are only 3 rows of holes. Not what we pictured from the web site. We are returning the shoes.

BUY A SIZE BIGGER THAN YOUR NORMAL SIZE!!! They destroyed my pinky toes! I have narrow feet to begin with, so I didn't think the small toe box would be an issue. WRONG. I've had these shoes for about 4 weeks and worn them a few times. I was prepared to "wear them in" and they actually were fine; comfy and not too stiff. I was quite pleased! It wasn't until the 4th or 5th time wearing them that the pain had started. They started rubbing on my pinky toes. Every step I took was painful and no matter how much mole skin and lamb’s wool I put to protect my pinky toe, it killed them. I'm pretty sure if you buy a size up from your norm you would be safe...They look fantastic which is the sad part.

Too Big - I wore the shoes once to play tennis in. They seemed to be ok when I first put them on. After playing for a bit I realized that they were about 1/2 to 1 size too big. Since I already wore them I didn't think I could return them.

Chinese garbage - I've been buying Adidas for years and several pairs of Stan Smith's, my most recent pair was 1/2 a size smaller than normal and the pair I exchanged them for clearly are not of the same quality they used to be. I assume they're trying to cut costs and they have lost a loyal customer.
