Okay, I used to wear these as a kid not buy choice mind you but because my mother made me. So seeing them on this site made me a little nostalgic so I took a closer look and thought how clean and modern they looked, still very current fashion wise. So I thought about it for about one more second and ordered them! Turns out it was a great purchase. I love the fit I love the look and people ask me all the time where I got them, I tell them Zappos but really I don't want anyone else to have them but I do it.

I ordered these for my son. He said he wanted them for tennis, but I think he wanted them for footbagging. He normally wears a 10. We looked at the size chart on the website and it seemed that he needed a 10.5. They were huge so we tried a 9.5 and they fit. In my experience, these run a bit longer for the size, but not any wider. My son does not have a wide foot. He loves them, though there was definitely a break-in period needed. These older style sneakers do not have the padding that newer sneakers do these days. He had to wear them for short periods in the beginning, gradually lengthening the time over several days. He needed to get used to the arch and his pinky toes rubbed just a little bit. Now that he has broken them in, he loves them.

Awesome company to deal with! I\\\'ve always loved the understated style of these shoes but just never bought a pair. Couldn\\\'t see myself wearing these shoes to walk around in all day. I have high arches and they definitely don\\\'t offer much support.

These shoes are great. They run very true to size. Take a little bit to break in, but I still have a pair from 3 years ago. I just bought this one because the others have worn a bit and are not dress wear. This obviously means that they are very durable. I love these shoes and Zappos is a great site. Quick delivery and fair prices.

Great shoes. Classic style when casual is required. Goes well with jeans or khakis, comfortable for light walking.

This is a very cool shoe. I like the simple styling. It is very lightweight and comfortable and a decent arch support. I did have to order up a half size as I normally wear an 11.5, however that size was too small so I ordered the 12 and they were perfect.

I have been a loyal customer for the last 6 or 7 years and I love this company. In all this time I have only had to return 1 item and that was because I bought the item as a gift and it did not fit. The return process was simple and easy and I got the correct size within 7 days after they received the other item. This shoe was also a gift and I am told everyday how great it is. In particular my friend says no one else has this shoe that he knows of, its comfortable and you can dress it up or down. Its very light weight and breathes just in case you find yourself wearing them longer than expected. I will always shop Zappos and I am always sending new customers to Zappos and from what I hear. Great looking shoe, but not practical for tennis play - The shoe's comfortable and looks great. But the sole doesn't have a lot of tack and on some surfaces feels very slick. You may be able to play tennis in these, but I wouldn't recommend it. Overall, a very nice casual shoe.

Awesome! You can’t go wrong with these. Look good, feel good. Light weight. They do get dirty easily, but hey, they are white. I work on my feet all day. I also have Dansko, Birkenstock. I wear the Rod Lavers 99% of the time they are so comfortable. Also I’ve had plantar fasciitis and it has gone away since I got these shoes (go figure?). I put some arch inserts in them too.

My Second Pair of Rod Lavers! This is my second pair of Rod Lavers. They are light and quite breathable for spring/summer shoes.
