These dress shoes fit true to size and have been very comfortable and supportive but amazingly light weight. I really enjoy wearing them.

My husband loves these shoes. There is no "break in" period. Just instant comfort. This shoe comes in extra-wide size, which is not easy to find. And, the shoe is so lightweight. Zappos is the place to shop! You know right away if your size is in stock, and if it isn't in stock at the time you wish to purchase, they will notify you when the item does become available. Zappos is absolutely the best place to shop, with an unbelievably fast delivery, and their policy of free returns certainly encourages me to shop there.

A hammertoe and spreading, aging feet prompted me to move up one size (13 to 14) and find a shoe with a deep toe box. This one satisfied, while the identical size of Eastland Newport and Eastland Plainview were surprisingly tight. So far, they are comfortable, but don't snag compliments on style. At 70, I'm through impressing strangers; now I want comfort!

I am always on the look out for comfortable shoes. I walk about 3 to 4 miles a day at work. (I work at a Convention Center.) These shoes are very lightweight and extremely comfortable.

I walk around all day. I have yet to find a lighter, and comfortable shoe as this one. Treat your feet, buy a pair you just cannot compare.

I normally wear a wide (2E) shoe but for this shoe a medium (D) is actually more than wide enough. I ordered another Hush Puppie shoe at the same time and that was not true for the other shoe, so this may be specific to this model. This shoe is so loose in the midfoot that even with the shoe laced as much as possible I cannot get the shoes as tight as I might like. Nonetheless, I really like the shoe. So much so that I bought a second pair (months after I bought the first) to have ready when my current shoe finally dies The shoe had a flat bottom for those who don't like a "separate" heel. Shoe is very loose in the forefoot (ball of foot and toe box). I recommend buying one size narrower than usual. If you like a shoe with loose fit, then this is the shoe for you. Also, shoe is very very light for its size. Lighter than even some old Rockport dress shoes that I used to get. Very light because of the material in the sole; yet sole has held up well. Sole is made of soft material so sometimes very little grit pieces "stick" to the bottom when you move from outside to inside of home/store but then the grit pieces seem to leave the shoe very quickly.

This is a very comfortable shoe, but I wear a thick Spenco insole with mine (the thickest I could find). I'm on my feet many hours a day at work, like many people, and I have to have a soft shoe to wear or I'll end up hurting big time. Pros: Black is practical. Pretty well made. Comfortable. Leather is soft. No break-in required. Cons: Sole can be very slippery, since the limited tread can wear out quickly, causing you to hydroplane on linoleum tile on even a 5" puddle, so watch out! It's happened to me five times in the last 6 months at work, but I've managed to stay standing after my fancy "dance move." More cons: Sole wears out quickly, shoe is a bit lumpy and unstructured looking after it breaks in, so it's not too fancy. Just business casual, but certainly not more upscale than that. Also, the inside of the achilles area shredded on me, since I have a pointy-ish heel bone, so that's always annoying for me. Why couldn't they have just used a single layer of material instead of a liner that will shred? Even more cons: Price is high for the quality of the shoe, but it's so comfortable that I'm having trouble replacing it (the sole is wearing out). Overall, if you need a comfortable shoe and can deal with the traction issue on hard flooring, this is a good shoe. I'd recommend a more beefy insole with it, however.

These are very comfortable, stylish and have minimal break-in period. They are also very affordable and Zappos provides an unequal shipping compared to others.

Ordered the normal width 9.5 and had to return them as they just seemed to narrow. I've never had to get specific wide shoes, so I'd say they just run narrow. The wide size pair are just right.

These are my "dress" shoes. I am 75 years old and have moderate foot discomfort most of the time, so that's the context. I like that these are leather, although the material is so smooth that it almost looks fake. They are a darker brown than the picture suggests, which is okay with me. I replaced the liners with my prescription orthotics easily. I find them very comfortable.

I like the simple and straight forward style of the shoe. However, the leather has no luster. It is a flat black that gives it more the appearance of a shop shoe than an office shoe. I also tried Rockport walking shoes and found that the sides rubbed on my ankle bone. These came close to my ankle but did not touch or interfere with motion. Yet, they are high and firm enough to provide excellent support. The comfort is off the charts. The combination of padding of the sole and side support makes this a great standing or walking shoe.

The Glen is an extremely comfortable shoe, especially on hard surfaces. It is very light, almost like a slipper. I work in security and I am on my feet all day, so this is important to me. The only problem with the shoe is that the sole wears down faster than most shoes that I have had. However, because of the comfort I will continue to buy them.
