These shoes were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I thought they might be because of the sheepskin lining on the upper inside. The foot bed has a cushion and just a small lift in the heel. I'm not comfortable in a completely flat shoe, so that combination was perfect for me. If you wear a half size, order down - I wear a 5.5 and I ordered a 5. If I ordered a 6 they'd fall off my feet. These are great sandals.

These shoes are fabulous! I have never been able to wear thong sandals until I purchased these. No rubbing or blisters between my toes, perfect! I have feet that err on the wide side, and if these sandals had been a touch more narrow, they would not have fit, but as they are, they fit beautifully. I've ordered them in black, now, as I like the tan so well.

Unreal! These thongs are the most comfortable thongs in the world. I was never a believer in "Uggs" but, got my first pair of boots this winter and I am hooked. I had to send back my first pair of Laybacks because what another reviewer said is true - the stitching on the sole is raised quite a bit and it can be uncomfortable. But, I ordered a size up and they are perfect (I am a 7-7.5 and I needed an 8). The brown ones are neutral enough to wear with anything. They are casual but don't look like a cheap pair of flip-flops. I highly recommend. Also, Zappos is incredible. I ordered my replacement pair on a Tuesday and by Wednesday they were here. Great service!

These UGG sandals are incredibly comfortable, even after a day of walking. I bought them in the Madras & they look great with jeans & shorts. I wish they came in more fun spring colors or patterns. Be sure to order a half size down if you're between sizes. I normally wear an 8.5 & the 8 fits perfectly.

Bought these for my M.I.L., because I heard how comfortable they were. She has really bad feet--hammer toes, bunions etc. and can rarely find shoes that don't irritate her "pressure points". SHE LOVED THEM, AND HAS NOT TAKEN THEM OFF SINCE. She is taking them with her to Florida, where she will spend a couple of months. As far as sizing, she usually wears a 10 1/2 shoe. Opted to order a size 10, since UGG has no half sizes. This fit perfectly. She believes a size 11 would have been too big. Overall, a big hit. Thinking of ordering a pair for myself.

The greatest sandal ever!!!!!!!!!!
I was introduced the Uggs when my husband bought me my first pair of boots and fell in love with them. Now I own 5 pairs and this sandal is one of them. True to size I normally fit 8-1/2-9 and I first bought a 9 it was tooo big, so I sent them back and received a size 8 and I can't be happier. Soooo comfortable love them! Will definitely be purchasing another pair for next summer.

Who knew Ugg would make great sandals?
I love these sandals -- they are really cute and even more comfortable. I have more fashionable sandals (bronze, beaded, etc.), but I find myself arranging my outfits so I can wear my Uggs instead.
The *only* problem with these is that the sheepskin peeks out from underneath (you can see it in the screenshot), which doesn't look great against black. I saw someone wearing them in brown, though, and didn't notice it nearly as much.
I also have the Matala (in brown), which is slightly cuter, but they are equally comfortable.

These sandals saved my feet!
After walking the Las Vegas strip for 2 days and discovering I had torn my heel into a bloody pulp, I went looking for some open-heeled sandals to soothe my aching feet. At first I couldn't believe I was about to drop $80 on a pair of flip-flops, but these are honestly the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. They are well worth the money. They offer good arch support and the sheepskin lining is so comfortable on the tops of the feet. You can tell they are well-constructed and I anticipate they will last me through many many summer seasons.

Perfect except a little loose -
These are amazingly comfortable--the fleecy fabric over your instep feels wonderful, and does NOT get hot, which you might worry about, even when I wore them in 90 degree weather. The leather under your sole feels great too. The ONLY problem is they're a little loose as you walk down the street which is slightly annoying. I have an average instep and I wish the band was a little tighter.

"Great Looking Sandal"
Purchased the Ugg Layback (Brandy) for my girl before we went on vacation and she loved them. Felt like they were broken in the minute she put them on. Glad I ordered the half size up instead of down; otherwise the big toe would have been rubbing on the stitching. The sheepskin didn't make her feet feel hot or itchy. She can walk in the Laybacks all day and her feet don't hurt at all. Very comfortable and would highly recommend this sandal. Zappos delivered within a couple of days. Very impressed with this service. Will be shopping here again!
