Order a size smaller than you usually wear

I love this sneaker :) I think I may have to order a size down when buying other colors. Bought size 10 but when wearing its hurts my feet a bit.

Great price for a suede and leather pair of Vans.

I have exceptionally wide and tall feet. (I can't fit in Aldo shoes for the life of me). This is my first time wearing vans. I'd say they don't fit "perfectly" and dont look as low-profile on my feet as they do on the model, but they are comfortable to wear. I'd the non-leather version has more give than the suede/leather models. (I bought 2, one with canvas). I prefer wearing the canvas one more. The leather / suede one feels uncomfortable and tight sometimes (with the unforgiving leather laces too)

Fit true to size and are great. Got them for a show I was in and were comfortable throughout

I'd been considering purchasing a custom, nearly-all blue version of the Slip-On Core Classics from Vans' website when I stumbled onto these. They're great, felt even more comfortable than a fresh pair of SOCCs, and I recommend them. However, I should mention one problem: the "Gold" part of the Gold-Mono moniker must be a reference to the gold plating on the eyelets, and my pair experienced some flaking of that plating just two days after purchasing. If that is part of your attraction to these (really?), you may want to think twice. Otherwise, a great pair of Vans.

Good shoes but not comfortable(

Loved the shoes fit true to size they we're really comfortable wore them for carnival which is 8 hours long my feet felt amazing. The color definitely stands out great shoe

Great to have leather and ventilation is nice. Better if you can add and arch support inside without shoe getting too tight. Vans really misses the mark on arch support - don't know why they don't put one in. I would pay extra to get it.

I'm a big Superman fan and have been on the search for some true blue and true red colored shoes for a few years now. I still haven't found them but these shoes will have to do for now. The red is true but the blue isn't as bright as it is in the picture. It's a darker murkier shade. The shoe has some glue on it and looks like it will fall apart in a couple years without care. I haven't worn them on a test drive yet but getting inside of them feels comfortable and fit pretty well with some slight tightness. I'd go a half size larger for a better feel. Maybe they need some breaking in.

Shoes were in my house in two days. Fit great look snazzy, got great compliments. Feel very comfy on my feet my feet.

Gifted a pair of the Cabernet/Black color to my sister-- she really likes them. The gum rubber outsole is however not as pale as shown in the images on Zappos. I knew that it wasn't white like other vans, bc that much was discernible from the images (it def. is a light beige-ish color on the monitor). But value (brightness) is off. It initially looked odd bc if you're expecting white, the new pair of shoes will look a bit odd & old. However she is very pleased with the rest of how the shoe looks-- leather and maroon color. She's been wearing them frequently ever since she got them two months ago. However she plans to get padded insoles in the future since her feet especially needs additional arch support. But for casual wearing, she finds them very comfortable and better than the many pairs of converses she owns.

My 14 year old son loves these shoes! Only problem is that they didn't come in wide width. He has a high instep and typically needs wide sizes. But he loved them so much he found a way to still wear them, just tied very loosely. Please, Vans, make some in wide widths!

Classic shoes. As soon as they break in, they're fantastic, and look great with everything, as long as that's your style. I get a new color every year or so, and will keep buying them until I can't any more.

The shoes are classic, but they're simple, pretty much bare bones, and they come in lots of different colors and patterns. They're (relatively) cheap, and will wear down quickly and begin to fall apart. As long as you don't expect them to be an all-weather, cushy, durable shoe, they'll do just fine.

This is a fun shoe! It is comfortable and goes with most of my weekend wear. I would recommend wearing socks with this because the back of the shoe can chafe when you are doing zumba.

Very sharp looking. These were bought for an exchange student from Barcelona who couldn't believe the prices or delivery speed! He had them ready to go well within time to return to Spain. He said they were comfy.

I originally got an 11.5 but had to go to the 12 for my right foot. Vans' Eras or Authentics should be a staple of anyone's collection.

My only caution is if your feet, like mine, tend to be just above medium width (medium usually fits me), they are tight across the arch. I had to stretch mine a bit before wearing. But after that they were quite comfortable.

These shoes need to be more durable. The cloth behind the heel wears out rather quickly. Taking this into consideration, I've still owned a few pairs of these and will continue to buy it because I love the comfort and it just has the best style.

Cool Look - These shoes are good looking; however, I cannot wear them for very long...just not super comfortable for me. Good looks and well made, great price too! I am very impressed with Zappos they ship so quickly!!!

Almost 5 stars - This shoe looks and wears good, but the area around the ankle is too low for skating. Many bangs on the ankle.

Cute girls shoes - The comfort is better than the usual Vans. Still bad on the back of my heels at first, had to break them in a bit.
