Comfortable as all get out - I'm on my feet basically all day, and these grippy, efficient sneaks keep me happy. And they look cool, too, with the classic low profile style and vintage skater appeal.

This is a great pair of classic vans. They look good enough to wear for dressier occasions or for school. I would buy these again!

These shoes were comfortable from the first minute. I wear them a lot, probably to more events than I should.

These are so cute - I really like the brown faux-leather type accents. True to size, maybe go up a half size if you wear thicker socks.

Subject: Best pair of shoes I ve ever worn! Preface I purchased a pair of black Vans Era shoes at the end of May, and I could not be happier. They had everything that I was looking for in a casual shoe. I highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for a comfortable and durable shoe! Who wears these shoes? Vans is known for being a skateboard brand that offers durable shoes that can handle the wear and tear of riding a skateboard. They are very stylish, and I have noticed a lot of people wearing them for casual use. I purchased them to wear to work, because black shoes would match my clothes and colorful collection of socks. I worked at a clothing store, and my job was to talk to the customers and work the cash register. I was always on my feet, and these shoes provided me with constant comfort. I continue to wear them on a weekly basis, whether I m going to class or out with my friends, because they re comfortable and easy to slide on. Characteristics They are incredibly durable and show minimum signs of being consistently worn for four months. They are light, but they are not the type of shoes to run in. Since Vans is a skateboarding company, the majority of their shoes don t have any arch support. I don t recommend them for athletic use, but other companies, such as Nike and Adidas, make arched shoes that are better for such events. Reliability I have purchased Vans before and I have never been disappointed! There are a lot of other shoe brands out there that I could ve gone with, but Vans was able to give me the best bang for my buck. Price I wasn t looking to break the bank on a nice pair of shoes, and the $45 that I spent on them was ideal. The free one day shipping offered by Zappos was icing on the cake. Overall, I am very satisfied with the shoes, and I m giving them a five out of five stars.

These have the thinnest insole that I have ever seen. I can feel the cracks on the ground when I walk in these shoes. I have not had this experience with any other Vans that I have worn previously. Maybe the perforated leather costs more, so they offset that cost by using a cheap insole?

My son loves these Vans. They are casual enough to wear with shorts, but perfect with a pair of chinos when he doesn't need to put on dress shoes.

I love these shoes. These are my second pair. Affordable, comfortable and can wear them through different seasons, you can't go wrong.

First, a comment on Zappos. Excellent shopping experience. Returned the first pair because too small. The process was super fast and easy. Received the new pair of shoes quickly and effortlessly. Now, the shoes. This pair was for my HS daughter. She loves them and they look sharp. Not too dainty or too clunky. Perfect look. I like (and she does too) the new color of the rubber rim around the sole. Can't go wrong with Vans if your a teen or pre-teen.

Comfortable shoe, I've been wearing them for a few days now and am very happy with the look and feel. I followed the advice of one of the earlier comments and got them half a size larger than normal, because they run a little small.

Perfect causal sneakers for my 14 year old, I think. Nice with khaki shorts or khaki pants. I went 1/2 size up. Not sure if my son's feet grew or if it's the brand. We have others that are 1/2 size down.

I always get quality merchandise when I order here. And these are great sneakers even though they are a little tight--but I ordered a size too small. So that's my bad! Hence why I said they are the right size.

This is great shoe for my teenage son. Comfortable and good-looking. Goes well with many outfits - dressed up and dressed down.

My granddaughter chose this pair for her birthday. My son's wore Van's in the 80's and still do. A tough shoe for a child ruff house in.

Arrived quickly, very stylish my son really loves these shoes. Zappos had the most colors that i could find online. They can go with jeans or khakis they are well made he wears them several days a week.

You cannot beat Vans. Classic style, great quality and price. I love these shoes!

My first hipster shoe. Love the color block, felt like the top front in the picture was more grey than what I received, but not a deal breaker.

4th pair of these for my daughter. She LOVES them! Works on her feet all day, skates and walks a lot. My only complaint is I wish they lasted longer.

Great fit and are very comfortable. design on the insole wears down a bit with use but no noticeable wear and tear after a months use. Look really great and feel great on your feet.

They are what they are, Vans are Vans. These ones will feel like socks once worn. That's why I bought them, so buy them. Do you really need a review? It is what it is.
