Do you think of yourself as having a high instep? Ever had the brief thought that a shoe was tight at the top of your foot? You will not be able to wedge your chunk of a foot into this.

I wore this exact shoe for years with no issue but now the shoe is shaped totally different, so the fit is awful. I went up a size from what I normally wear because my foot is wider than last time I purchased these, and even after doing that the shoe is so narrow I can’t even get the front of my foot in. I would have to size up probably 3 sizes for it to fit the width of my foot. If your feet aren’t narrow, or on the narrow side of normal, I would bother buying them. If you look at the sole it’s barely wider than converse or keds now.

We had to go up 2 full sizes for my daughter. She usually wears a size 4/5 and we had to order a size 7 for them to fit her feet. She loves the shoes, but have never had this kind of issue with shoes.

I've been wearing Vans my whole life and I truly love them. With the classic slip ons I always down size a half size. They seem to fit better that way especially if I decide to roll without socks. I mostly wear what used to be the Old Skool Pro's but now is the Old Skool Skates and they have MUCH better support and cushion in them. Unfortunately the slip on versions fit a bit too snug because of this so I go for the classics.

I am 81 years old and wondered if I could wear these vans and that they would not only feel good to wear, but would they look OK ON AN OLD MAN! WELL-Not only do they feel good - They look good! I am enjoying my new Vans!

They had to be returned. My nephew needed a wide width but that was not available in this shoe.

I wanted casual slip on shoes that were comfy and could be worn with anything. From day 1 they were easy to wear. I wear these with short socks, unlike canvas they are not smelly. Love these shoes!

Cool, classic Vans! As usual, these require a bit of breaking in (very stiff and uncomfortable at the heels initially), but so worth it because of how long they last once they soften up. I recommend buying the socks made by Vans to go with these shoes, perfect fit.
