Bought as a gift, everyone already knows that Vans makes great shoes. Just reviewing my experience with Zappos…super fast shipping, no bs, and always quick to respond if there are any issues. I’ll always recommend them.

I've had 3 or 4 pairs of these shoes in the past 7 years, and while you might think they should last longer, I wore them every day on a 16 day European vacation where I walked 115 miles... I love them. They are a little tight when you first get them, but I always put on a thick pair of socks and wear them around the house for a few days before I do any major walking in them. Really love this shoe.

Every year I buy my older brother a pair of vans. I don't know how he does it, but they last him probably longer than a year I just like to keep him fresh.
He absolutely loves his vans ever since he was a kid did I mention my older brothers 65 years old lol

Ye olde classics - always great. These run slightly large. I wear a women's 8.5 medium or wide in sneakers, and the men's 6.5 (women's 8, according to Vans) fit with a little room to spare. The all black version feels slightly narrower that the checkerboard version, perhaps that will change after I've worn this pair for a bit - which I certainly plan to do.
