I have no idea how comfortable they are or how they fit as I haven’t received them yet. I miss the old Zappos (pre Amazon purchase). The customer service used to be great - my orders used to leave the warehouse the next business day and we’re delivered in no more than 2 days. I understand that Covid and the holidays slow things down but…………..expected delivery date is a week and a half!!! Really? Don’t order from Zappos if you’re expecting fast delivery time because it won’t happen. I hope I like my shoes when I finally get them. Tick tock tick tock. Still waiting.

Very uncomfortable

I was sent 2 right side shoes...what the heck! My son does not have 2 right feet.

Sent worn, used shoes including no Vans box, grass pieces and dried food on the sole, and creases on the top of the shoe. NOT COOL ZAPPOS. I paid full price for returned, worn shoes. Which I am trying to return and and told to keep. SHM.

I have women Vans slip ons same style in an 8 which are snug but not painful. These were Men's size 6.5/Women's size 8 so I though they might even run fuller because the are "unisex." Not so much. Much to narrow and tight. Not break-in-able. Going back.

Completely confused by these shoes. My son has been wearing this style of Vans for years. We have mostly ordered from Zappos. He still wears this shoe in 4.5's on a daily basis. I ordered a size 5 and he could not get them on without spending several minutes forcing them on and mashing his toes in the process. I almost feel like they were incorrectly labeled by the manufacturer.

unfortunately we had to return these ... my daughter has owned 5 pair of Vans - all size 9 womens and this was the first one she could not wear. Way too narrow and slightly shorter than every other pair we've bought her.

Too small, Too narrow. I had judged the size and width of of 2 pairs of similar shoes. A headache to return as UPS only and closest UP is over an hour away, with no pick up options that work in this rural area (you have to be there, and it's a drop off - Who can lose a day waiting?)

I wore this exact shoe for years with no issue but now the shoe is shaped totally different, so the fit is awful. I went up a size from what I normally wear because my foot is wider than last time I purchased these, and even after doing that the shoe is so narrow I can’t even get the front of my foot in. I would have to size up probably 3 sizes for it to fit the width of my foot. If your feet aren’t narrow, or on the narrow side of normal, I would bother buying them. If you look at the sole it’s barely wider than converse or keds now.

They had to be returned. My nephew needed a wide width but that was not available in this shoe.

Good lord these are horrible shoes! It's been a long time since I wore them, but they are nowhere near as comfortable as when I bought them last. They're narrowing and rub on the smallest toes of my feet and the midsole is atrocious and uncomfortable, where you feel way to much of each footfall when walking in them and they no arch support, so if you have medium or high arches, your feet will kill you in short order. I was exceedingly disappointed in them to say the least.

these are an old standby for me- comfortable and classic. However, I have found lately that orders from Zappos arrive and appear to be slightly worn. These look new it arrived with deep creases and minor wear, as if someone tried them out. Not a terrible thing but when you order new shoes, you do expect them to be freshly new- these lacked any type of protective wrapping and stuffing etc. as well.

The fit of the shoe is sloppy. I’ve worn these shoes for years and this is the worst pair I’ve ever had. They were so stiff when I first got them I decided to wash them to soften them up. All around the toe turned yellow, no I did not use bleach. The back of the heel turned yellow too; anywhere there was adhesive used on the shoe. They also rub the back of my heel, my other pairs do not. Won’t be ordering again.

Too large. Sent back immediately and never wore them. Zappos return process is poor. You should be more like Amazon where you can request a different size, return old, and new ships as soon as the old is dropped off at UPS store.

I love Zappos! I love Vans slip ons. I just got a dirty, stained pair. I was very unhappy with this particular pair because it’s seemed to me that somebody had worn them and got a stain on the right shoe at the top and then sent them back. It was very disheartening to me that nobody checked those shoes before they sent them to me. The tag was ripped off. The shoes were not packed like they usually are. The soles were clearly worn. Sad the way some people behave in life.

I could not get more than less than half of my foot into the shoe. I have a size 12 foot and the shoe was supposed to be size 12; it looked long enough but it was not a match for my foot. Thank you for your return policy, but I still need shoes.

Had to return these. Very disappointed that Van's changed the styling. I've worn these for years, but this year the upper came up so high on my foot that I disliked them the minute I put them on. Wish they would go back to style from several years ago.

Zappos through no fault of their own had to send me two packages as the first one was stolen upon delivery. I received one of 2 packages sent to me, enclosed was the right model, color, and the box stated it was size 13 (which is what I ordrered). When I actually tried the shoe on I came to realize the shoe was far too large. I checked the size tag inside the shoe itself and saw it was a size 14. Zappos has already refunded my purchase and given me a discount code to use which is great but I really just wanted a pair of size 13 van slip ons in blue; which i've yet to receive.

I returned shoe but have not received a credit

I really loved the look of these shoes. I wear a size 6 and bought a size 6. However, even though I had on very thin socks, they were extremely tight across the top and slid up and down at the heel. I have fibromyalgia and cannot tolerate anything tight across the top of my feet. I was also afraid that they would rub blisters on my heels, so, sadly, I returned them.

Sizing seemed to be true to size BUT these shoes were the most uncomfortable ones I’ve ever worn. 4 inch heels pain doesn’t even compare to the blisters these put on my feet on the first day. I do NOT recommend these.

Appalling decline in quality. My last pair of Vans was a previous iteration of this shoe. I loved them. These ones were cheaply-made with poor quality control. The soles were flat and hard. Yet the shoe was heavy. They rubbed a deep blister on the back of my ankle in a short time. Previous Vans, by comparison, were deliciously comfortable. They were bliss. The latest versions were made in Vietnam. Nuff said.
