Decent slip-ons, very little support, but the sole is pretty thick so they're comfy. I wear them just about every day for short walks in the morning with the dog or for work around the house, but would not recommend them for long walks.

this shoe runs small and it is not black and white like it says. my granddaughter wanted black and white and insists that some of her friends have these shoes with actual white not cream. this pair is cream. they are also too small. going back.

As expected, though I should have paid more attention to the reviews that mentioned the heels blisters. These ate through my heels in 10 minutes. Need tips about how to break them in

I love the look of these but couldn't find a good fit. Not sure what's up with the sizing. I usually wear a 7.5 which I ordered, and they were falling off my foot. so I sent them back for a size 7 and still falling off. Sent them back again for a 6.5 and i can barely squeeze in... so weird. I guess they are not for me!

These run smaller than their canvas counterparts. I have the grey canvas and a 9.5 is perfect. These were too small. Otherwise, love the shoe.

These are so hard to get on if you have a slightly wide foot or a high instep and once you finally do get them on, they're very tight. Very disappointed.

Love these but they're killing my feet. First time I wore them three blisters per foot. I thought I just needed to break them in. Nope, they're hurting my toes. So bummed.

Classics, but they definitely make my foot look kind of big.

Cute but I didn't like the Black on black

Very heavy. Attractive shoe but stiff as a board. No give at all. For people with problem feet, you wouldn't be able to wear it long enough for it to soften up. Very disappointed.

These shoes seem smaller than they should be. They are much to narrow, not the "wide" that I am used to from other shoes.

Unhappy about the style. Leather didn't look perforated or unique on foot and looked too masculine

The shoes are good but the back of them keeps cutting in to the back of my ankle. Sneakers shouldn't have a break-in period like other shoes!

These were already used. I thought we got new items? I tried them on an need a bigger size. So I am returning them to get a size 9 instead. Weird to pay full price and get used shoes though.

Bought these in "Ballerina Pink". I love the look of them. They have different pressure points than the "Authentic" lace up. They fit true to size but I wish they were a little wider in the toe box. The upper inside of the toe box has what seems to be glued on cloth reinforcement. Unfortunately it needs to run the entire length of the toe box as after some wear it started to detach, shred and gave me blisters. The goring hits one of my feet in the wrong place and that gave me a blister too. I do wear them without socks though. I wish the footbed was removable so I could put my own insole in for more cushion and arch support. I've been wearing Van's since they opened in 1966 but alas, my feet have "aged" and they're not as comfy as they used to be.

I have bought many many pairs of these for my boyfriend because he absolutely loves them and lives in them. I've had to buy many pairs because they don't last too long. After about 6 months they tend to fall apart in one way or another (canvas rips away from the rubber sole, inner ankle padding rubs off, insole peels away, holes in the sole, and they get filthy.) My nephew loves the same shoes and was happily wearing a pair that looked like a dog had actually eaten them. They must be amazing shoes! My MAJOR complaint is the sizing. We need to get an entire size and a half more than normal. It's lead to many exchanges over the years, which, thankfully, Zappos is great about.

I wanted to love these shoes as they look great with anything you wear. Once I received them, I decided to wear them out. Less than two hours later, I had to come home to take them off as I had a big blister on the back of my right heel.

Unwearable. I'm a woman, and these were unwearable from the get-go. The toebox was simply too narrow. Had I kept them on, I would have wound up with all sorts of blisters along the sides of my feet. It was disappointing as I've always liked the style of Vans and wanted to have a pair for myself.

There is a seam on the inside that rubbed against my pinkie toe. Not wearable without socks, which reduces the style points as well as the comfort points.

I normally wear 11, and I ordered 12 and could not even get my feet in them. They seem well made, but way undersized. I may have to find some in a store to try on before I try again, as it seems I need to go at least 2-3 sizes higher than normal.

Very cute slip-on sneaker but WAY TOO snug. I have a slightly wider foot than most others so I'm sure this is why they felt way too tight. Still, most of my shoes are in a "B" width with only a handful in a "W" width. If you think your foot is on the wide side, I'd advice that you keep looking. Converse brand slip-ons in a "B" width might be more comfortable for you.

I really wanted these shoes to fit... I usually take a 9.5 but I ordered a size 10 from reviews. This size was still too small! I can't imagine my foot ever being able to comfortably wear a 10.5 or 11!? Never was able to wear them before (way too big). I'll have to return these for a refund. I'll buy a different style that fits my 9.5 size foot!

What can I say: this is a typical pair of Vans. They're only somewhat comfortable, but they retain that beach-casual vibe that I remember from the eighties. The problem I have is that, unlike the many other Vans I own, these run a half size small. I ordered my usual 6.5 women's, but my toes hit the end. Thus, they are going back.

I've got a chubby foot & it took me 15 minutes to stuff my piggies into these. Hopefully they'll stretch.

As usual, delivery was quick! Love the look, but in less than a half day of wearing them, my heels were completely torn up. I am not sure how to wear these comfortably without socks.
