Style and simplicity- What is there to say about a shoe already called a classic? Although the Van's Classic Slip-On could maybe be a bit more generous in width, the shoe is what it claims to be- a classic. It goes anywhere with any attire, and does reasonably well with heavy use for the kind of shoe it is. A better width than the checkered style of the same shape- which is odd: shouldn't the sizing be consistent across the brand?

Brings me back to the 80's- These shoes are exactly like I remember. Totally classic. Very comfortable for me. I said they have no arch support, which is true but I'm flat footed so these feel great. No bulging arch hurting my feet. Can't wait to sport the old checkerboard slip ons around town.

Rad shoes! These shoes are the BEST!!!!! They are a little pricey but they are very comfortable!!!!! I love these shoes!!! The best thing about them is that they are cute, punk, and you can where them where ever!!! I definitely recommend these shoes!

Overall Great Shoe- These may not be the cutest shoes ever- but they're stylish, none the less. But, they are comfy as heck. I ordered my size and they fit perfectly. I can walk all day in them w/out any discomfort. :D 2 thumbs up!

Awesome- I just got these shoes today, and I was a little worried that the colors wouldn't really go with my clothes, but I LOVE EM! They look so good with everything, and they’re really comfy!!! A great buy!

Cool shoes- I bought these for my 15 year old son. He finds them to be comfortable, easy to slip on and the look is sleek... a big plus for a person who wears size 12 to13. I bought 12 and they fit perfectly.

Very Nice Shoe- They have a solid base and light weight uppers and they are very comfortable. And I throw mine in the wash; they clean up like new, very easy care.

The Cadillac of shoes- These shoes are so rad! I was debating giving them a bad review because I want to be the only one wearing these bad boys. I couldn't bring myself to do it, they deserve their proper respect. Buy a pair, they are sick!

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways... Secure fit around the heel without rubbing, perfect length and width, mild arch support, Zappos easy ordering AND the kick butt checkerboard design I grew up with! Vans Classic Slip-Ons feel so good it is as if my feet are taking a mini-vacation from the rest of the world.

I like my new Hot Rod tenny runners- I could not find the size I needed at some local retailers so went online and found Zappos. Sure am glad I did! They literally have 10 times more selection than I ever saw in the stores. The buying process was very simple and WOW!! Were they shipped fast? It was only 3 days from when I ordered to when they arrived at my PO Box... excellent service. And the money back guarantee can't be beat... not to mention free returned shipping!! Great buy- I bought these for my little sister and she absolutely adores them, comfy cute and city chic. She wears them with gauchos, jeans sweats cute, cute, cute!

Van Slip Ons- I think Zappos is a wonderful site. Great Shoes. The shoe itself is beautiful. Simple and comfortable yet it can work with many looks. I got a pair for my brother and he's in love.

Very pleased with Zappos service. I thought the Zappos service was excellent. The shoes I was satisfied with but not overly excited. I guess I should have looked into what I was ordering more closely. They were fairly comfortable. I could not do a lot of walking in them though. Very pleased all around.

Totally Rad: Slip into Cali Style- They are what they are, a classic, no-nonsense "deck" shoe that you can skate in. I got the b/w checkered ones. Tubular. Fit great, comfy with socks, stinky (literally) without. Keep some shoe spray handy if worn normally without socks. Overall score: 9.5.

Classic shoes never die - This shoe design hasn't changed ever since I was a kid riding my first skateboard in the mid eighties. Since then I think I've owned at least one pair of classic Vans, slip ons or old schools. It's just who I am.

Back to 1983 - Boy was I surprised when my 14 year old nephew wanted Vans for Christmas. They're so classic and cool that he didn't even mind that I had a pair when I was that age. You can't go wrong with any design from Vans!

The best- This shoe is so cool and comfortable; I love them and wear them everyday. I have the navy blue ones and they fit great and they're true to their size.

Good Buy - It had a simple design with an eye-catching pattern and was easy to slip on. It also matched with a lot of looks.

Van's Pink and Black Checkered Classic Slip-On Review- These are VERY comfortable. They were shipped lightening fast, and for free. Which is a bonus to the already great service Zappos provides thus far. Thanks again.

New wave era- It is the most comfortable shoe. I can just slide my foot into the shoe. I can wipe them down or just throw them in a pillow case and wash them. Everyone has asked me where I got those cool shoes. They are just wonderful.

The Bomb Christmas Gift! The checkered Vans were something my dear friend has wanted since we were in college. My husband and I decided to give him this wacky looking shoe as a gift this year. It was a huge hit! He works on a racing team so the black and white checks really go with the racing theme. He says they are the most comfortable things he's ever put on his feet!!!

Vans are the best! My husband is in and out of the house all day long. He loves his Vans for slipping in and out of. They wear like iron, take a beating and keep on walking. Good support and light like an angel.

Zappos Rocks! Zappos ALWAYS has great deals, prompt shipping, and the product is always what you order! My son wears a very large shoe size, and we have found that Zappos has an awesome selection of larger sizes. He loves his Vans!

Skate and Destroy Missouri Boy Style- Vans slip-ons are without a doubt the best shoes you will ever own. They are basically the closest and most comfortable feeling next to being a barefoot country boy. I skate in mine, bowls, parks, etc. probably not super strong in the Ollie area, but grow up, tricks are for kids. If you want to be a rapper and wear 2x4's on your feet, buy some Ipaths or maybe some DC's. If you want to actually feel what is under your feet, go with the original waffle grip sole. Off the Wall since '66, buy your girl a pair too; she'll look real sassy in them.

Awesome Fit- My daughter has extra long feet and it is nearly impossible to find shoes that fit her which are not giant wide boats. Vans keeps thing is perspective in a way that most shoe manufacturers do not. These shoes are classic, stylish, hip and cool, and an awesome fit. Whew!
