Great shoes - Great shoes! I had to order a half size smaller than I usually wear, once I got the right size I liked them. They are awesome shoes for the summer.

Not as comfy as I remember - Although the shoe fits and I have received numerous compliments on them, overall, the shoes aren't nearly as comfortable as I remember them from my childhood. Still sporty, though.

These shoes are fly and in style! I can walk in these shoes all day with no pains. I have big wide feet, and it works for me!

Van's Slip-On great shoe - Van's Slip Ons are comfortable and love the way they look. I bought 2 pairs, one for myself and my girlfriend liked them so much I bought her a pair for her birthday. They are true to size and width.

Black on Black Slip Ons - These have become my favorite everyday shoe. I bike to work in 'em and the black on black keeps up a classy appearance for the office environment.

Vans - I purchased these Vans for my son as a birthday present so he could wear for a trip he would be taking shortly. The Vans arrived on time, but found them to run a little big. I immediately reordered in a 1/2 size smaller, hoping they would arrive for his trip in a few days. The shoes arrived at our doorstep in 1 1/2 days, with regular delivery. My son loved the shoes and found them to be very convenient at the airport to slip on and off at check in points. The Vans were so comfortable for my son when he walked around Japan on his sight seeing trip. One year later we ordered another pair from Zappos, as a birthday gift. His first pair looked great after a year, he wanted another color this time. My son loves these shoes, he says they feel like he is wearing slippers all day.

These are the sickest shoes ever - If you knew how old I am, you would faint. These are the coolest, most comfortable, and hippest shoes you can wear. I am a girl, I am no Barbie, but when I teach my hard core tough inner city kids? I get instant respect when they see I am wearing black/black Vans. 2 inch spikes? Squinchy fashionable shoes? Forget it. Give me the never gives up simple style, beauty, and grace of vans black/black slip ons. My kids wear them, I wear them, my students wish they wore them. Thanks Vans and thanks Zappos for stocking black/black in my size, having them for me, and shipping them faster than fast. These shoes make the first day of school almost ok. Much love, Lise L. Pretty swell - Not the best shoe, not the worst. Felt a little small at first, but overall they're growing on me and I like them better every time I wear them...

Love Them - 2006 is the year of the slip-on. These shoes are comfortable and versatile.

Foot Massage - I don't do reviews, but, after buying from Zappos I just had to do this. This shoe is just what I was looking for. I couldn't find it at any store within 50 miles of where I live. It’s so comfortable and what you see is what you get. Guys, you know how hard it is to go into a store and get a large selection of shoes to pick from. I go on line to Zappos and look at hundreds.

Great Classic - Ordered a full size larger and it fits great. Got the black/white checkered, but the white looks like a dirty off white, didn't like that.

Flashback to greatness! My wife bought me these shoes in the black/white check... GREATNESS! Super comfortable. Easy to wear. Relaxed look. A perfect shoe. Caveat: The only issue we had is in the baby sizes... The shoes (probably because they are slip-on and not ties) seem to feel a size smaller than needed. We needed a 7 instead of the usual 6...

Simple Style - Everybody's wearing them in NYC this summer. Nuff said.

Great shoe - I love the way this shoe looks. It's not the most comfortable shoe in the world, but purchasing a gel sole greatly improved the overall comfort.

THANKS! My son (fashion maven that he is), decided to "Rock the Vans,” as he puts it with his tuxedo to his senior Prom! We ordered them from Zappos.com, with just a short window prior to the prom. I bought my first pair of Vans in 1983, blue and red checkerboard (which isn't offered any more). I purchased the pink and black checkerboard shoes, and I have mixed feelings about them. On the positive, they bring a rush of nostalgia so strong it's almost painful, but on the negative they don't seem to fit as well as the originals. They are a bit narrower than I remember they were 20 years ago. Otherwise, I love them and will keep buying more colors, albeit in size wider.

Fit true to size. Have had 4 pairs. Enjoy them. One of the few in my size in a slip-on.

Old comfort in the now - I graduated in 1986 and wore my Vans till they fell apart...even though made elsewhere now...than goodness the comfort still remains!

Narrowed Sole - I have owned many pair of these Vans Classic Slip-Ons. For some reason this pair is much more narrow than the ones in the past. Not good.

Cool shoes - Cool shoes, no arch, but everybody knows there's no arch in a pair of Vans.

My First Pair of Real Vans Slip-ons - After years of buying cheap knockoffs (including copycat checkerboards in the '80's), I finally splurged and bought two pairs of Vans slip-ons, in black and monochrome black. (Zappos' customer service and shipping are the best.) I wear an 11 wide in most shoes, so I got the 11.5. They fit great after a few days of breaking in, and the padded collar keeps your heel from slipping. If you have wide feet, definitely order a half size up from what you usually wear. I airbrushed orange and red flames on the black ones; they look so sick. I may do the same to the monochrome ones.
