Great shoe - I've been wearing em' for 23 years. Not the best for skating (unless just rolling around) but a great shoe. A staple in my wardrobe since 1984.

Solid shoe! Great shoe. Probably as solid and safe a choice as a pair of Converse All-Stars, only better, really, because Vans Slip-Ons aren't quite as widely known. These are shoes in the barest sense, so don't expect any real arch support. But they look spectacular and you don't have to tie any laces. Can't beat 'em.

Black on Black is Beautiful - I waited several months for this shoe to become available in my size...so long in fact that it was a surprise when Zappos emailed me to tell me my size was now in stock! I am so glad that I did ask to be informed as such, because these look so great on!!! They work with skirts as well as pants and look more sophisticated all black. I have purchased several Vans already thru Zappos, and they are my first choice in everyday wear, in and outside of the house. I have this same shoe in jeans blue with the classic white soles, and the really cute black w/white 'Gizelle' I wear around the house. Vans run true to size in both styles. I wear a 9.5 to 10 women's, so 8.0 men's fits me well. Our family takes street shoes off at the door, and wears house shoes inside, so I absolutely hate lace ups. I also avoid buying leather shoes for the whole AHIMSA non-violent lifestyle observance. Vans slip-ons are so comfortable and easy wear/care and good looking for everyday, they really 'foot the bill'!!!

Vans slip ons - Once you have broken in this shoe to your feet, they are extremely comfortable. Great for travel, especially airport security, and for a relaxed lifestyle. I think I have 8 pairs now!

Van's Classic - These are my son's favorite style of shoe. He wears them every day. They clean up well in the washer.

Nothing's better than a classic - Out of all the shoes I've purchased, I've never been able to find a shoe that fits better and easier than a vans classic. Zappos' amazingly quick delivery also added to great experience of ordering these shoes.

Vans on but they look like sneakers - Got them for the summer camp season and they have held up well with just a little cracking of the trim where the shoes bends. No biggy. Great shoe, will buy more.

Exceeded Expectations - When I first put on the shoe, I was a little disappointed. It didn't feel right. But as time went on, the shoe's comfort began to grow on me. I have beastly feet so I wear the size sixteen. It looks like a black Ronald McDonald shoe. But I don't have room to complain, Zappos has such a good return policy I got a great deal on these wonderful shoes. Overall, I think they're great. With a few minor flaws. Being too big for example.

Haven't had Vans since I was 18! My wife has heard me talk about how I lost one of my black & white checked vans in a river getting crazy with one of my buddies when I was 18! She got me a pair for my birthday. Lots of good memories in those shoes! But because I have such a big foot I really need a D width but notice you don't have any shoes in a D. I'll break them in slowly.

I LoVe TheSe ShoEs! I absolutely love these shoes!! They came the next day from Zappos.com and the shoe looks great with shorts or jeans! They also feel great on my feet and they slide on so u never have to worry about ur shoes being untied or ur laces being dirty...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SHOE!

Great shoes.I have bought two or three different pairs of shoes from ZAPPOS and I love them,but, the VANS have two problems. One, the inside is coming apart a little, and I have to keep wiggling my toes to get the cloth out of my toes. And two, a piece of the rubber at the third toe on the top for the shoe is pulled off. I have been wearing them because these were for my wedding in las vegas so I just deal with it. Thanks ZAPPOS. John

I love my vans - These shoes are wonderful they never wear out! And they are true to size I love them I wear them all the time!

Stylish and comfortable - I'd been wanting to try these out for a while, and now I’m on my third pair. They are sooo comfortable, and I can wear them with anything.

Birthday Present - I got the black and white checkerboard slip ons for my son's birthday. They fit him perfectly and he loves them. True Classics. They make "fashionable" shoes look dated - Just what I have been looking to get for years--wish I had pulled the trigger sooner.

Born in the 60's or 70's? You'll remember these.aka "decks" If you're in your 30's or 40's you will remember the most comfortable sneakers we ever wore. They were called decks. Well Van's are better then ever. They are perfect for parks, beaches, pools, bbq's casual dining,etc... It is a perfect sneaker especially for the guys they won't wear sandals, like myself. They are masculine, and comfortable, and you don't need socks. I highly recommend them. I bought 7 pairs.

Cool Throwback - These shoes are cool. My two year old son and I have pairs and folks always comment on them when we wear them together. I wear them as slip on's to go anywhere, the lake, or the bowling alley, etc. These shoes are comfortable, and pretty durable, they are easy to clean, and dry quick if they get sprayed with the occasional garden hose. They are the quintessential summer shoe, you should get a pair!

The Comfort Van - These shoes are fantastic. These are by far the best flat bottom style shoes available. I got the classic, time tested, black and white checked, and couldn't be happier. The trademark Vans gum sole is great and the material is breathable in the summer and comfortable straight outta the box. I listed some other similar style shoes with the flat bottoms that I also sport.

I refuse to wear sandals during the summer because they look horrible and because my feet are gruesome. These shoes have cured the hot weather blues for me. I wear them without socks and they feel great. They even work great carrying stuff over the dunes at the beach!

Chill Out Shoe - Nice shoe, been wearing slip on Vans since '86, what can you say but it's an awesome shoe to wear and kick it. For skating, there’s now heel support, no arch support and there will be an ollie hole after a couple of ollie's but plenty of people shred in them and they take minimal time to break in.

Nice weekend shoe - I wanted some slip-on sneakers to knock around on the weekends in, and these fit the bill nicely. They're a little loose, but not enough to go a half-size down (I tried). Just as satisfying as all the other Vans sneakers I've owned.

Comfortable and affordable - I wear these shoes to work everyday and am standing up for a good 6 hours there. They remain comfortable throughout the day and provide the support for my feet. Also, the availability of this shoe in larger size was a definite plus.

The FLASH-BACK shoe that's a sneaker - I opened the box and BLAM! I was back in '82... Carefree and full of hope. Vans are and will always be classic 80's footwear. For extra points, I even got the checkered ones...
