I've been a loyal Converse wearer for years, but decided to give Vans a chance recently because I wanted a slip-on without the appearance of lace holes. Thus far, I've been very pleased with my decision and my purchase. I did find they ran a half size large for me and had to exchange, but Zappos makes that so easy, I didn't mind. I'm able to wear them with or without no-show socks and for long periods without ache or blisters, etc. And, the best part is that they look great with almost any outfit. The color choices also can't be beat.

These shoes are great! They stretch out after a day of wearing so definitely order it to be snug on your first day.

The shoes themselves are wonderful looking, with a very mild arch support. Unfortunately, they came a size larger than I ordered. The box indicates the correct size, but the shoe is marked one full size larger...and they look and feel that way. The width is true to size (Medium). I suppose having them longer is better than too short, although I do feel like I'm look at boats when I look down, lol. Most people would simply return the shoe, but I need them for an upcoming trip and there simply isn't enough time. These have always been my favorite style of shoe, so in the future I most definitely will exchange them for the correct size. The shoe itself is the same terrific quality I expect from Vans.

The sizing is incorrect. I ordered a woman's 8.5 but it feels more like a 7. The shoe is also labeled W8.5.

I ordered a size 11, turned out half a size small. Zappos sent me a replacement for free and I had it in a day. The shoes look great and go with pretty much everything. Also my customer service agent was an absolute treat. I am certainly a part of the Zappos family now. The company truly is about happy people making customers happy. They make sure high touch stays more important than high tech. They leave no stone unturned in exceeding your expectations and make you feel like a million bucks. P.S. I hope in the future I keep running into issues with the stuff I order, just so I could speak with the awesome people at Zappos.

My son loves Vans, he is super happy with these and they are very stylish. My only problem is they should come in wider widths.

pretty good. rubbed my feet raw the first couple of days I had them but they broke in fast. Comfortable.

A solid shoe fits well for the most part and is a good casual shoe. Though not the best for extended periods due to poor arch support and inserts. I found the toebox a little on the small side. But overall fit well.

Excellent and very comfortable. I just love this product.

got my first Vans in 1969 and been wearing them ever since. Honestly they were better in every way when they were made in The USA. That being said the shoes are Vans so nothing comes close!

These are Vans(TM) meaning they are designed like slippers (i.e. no arch support). Quite comfortable for everyday use (I bought them for driving), but I wouldn't spend an entire day walking an amusement park.

I have worn these things everyday for over a week now and I am very pleased. I wish there was a bit more arch support but I still like them on with socks true to size, without socks, they have a little room to play.

These were for my husband. He thinks they are mostly comfy. A bit tight across the top of his foot (he has a wider foot) and he was very unsure when he first put them on because of the shine on the black on black checker print. I think they look great and he is wearing them regularly.

Help with sizing: I usually wear a 8.5 (Born, Kenneth Cole, Red Wing) or 9 (Converse, Keen). I bought these in an 8.5 because: - I planned to wear them with no socks or very thin no-show socks. - slip-ons that are too big tend to slide around. - One reviewer said they ran large. I don't think they run large. With just a very thin sock they are right on the edge of being too small. Not sending them back because they'll do, especially after a bit of wear. So if you're between sizes like me, I recommend going with your larger range. If you've ever worn Converse, go with that size.

I've owned plenty of Vans slip-ons in the past and was missing having a pair now that the weather is getting warmer. Always a classic look!

This item arrived very quickly and was as described. Classic look and feel. Nice slip on tennis shoe. Great for just kick'n around.

Comfy, simple summer shoes. These would not be my choice for walking long distances over tricky terrain or for standing all day but they are great for casual walking, riding a bike, etc. They have a fixed insole so no orthotics. I squeezed in a supportive insole and plan to either wear thin socks or no socks. The Tom's slip-on has a removable insole if that matters to you.

Vans are "wear in" shoes sometimes, and these were no exception, they arrived and felt way too small, but then after a day or two of wear, they're back to feeling very comfortable and casual. Black on black is a great look for any outfit, and the clean Vans styling is clean, calm, and understated.

I buy these shoes every couple of years because I really like them. I always get them from Zappos because they have great deals. This time I got an email for money off so I paid less bucks for these pair of shoes. Only thing to keep in mind is it's Vans they have little foot support.

Received my Van's just in time for ease of putting on after my shoulder surgery. The denim & white style is attractive. Shoe fits a little wide on my narrow foot. the Van's are good for kicking around the house, but do give much support for prolonged walking. The price was right & they fit the bill.

Love kicking around in these. A little wider than the lace up. No arch support so if I wear them longer than a few hours I'm going to need to put an insert inside.

These shoes are easy to slip on and off. I have them in two colors. And want more! I usually wear size 10½. But I had to buy size 11 in these. Buy them.
