Love the retro look and that it comes in larger men's sizes, but not comfortable for a all day shoe.

I grew up wearing these shoes so I have certain nostalgic feeling about them. They are very stylish and will go well with anything. But they are quite heavy and not the most comfortable shoes to be honest. My advice is to get the “LITE” version. I got mine directly from Vans the other day & they are super light weight while still keeping the good old timeless design. Order your regular size.

I love vans in all different styles, these are comfortable to me. I am flat footed and they don’t hurt me or make my feet sore.

These are basically like wearing slippers - they’re so comfortable. Plus, they go with just about anything.

Great Style

I have been wearing Vans since 1977, when the Era came out. I had a pair of the blue and red. I skateboarded a lot, from the early 70's to the early 90s. I'm 50 now, and had to give it up due to back issues. But, I love my Vans, always have. Had the checkered slip ons back in the early 80s, when Fast Times came out. Have had the high tops, also, which were/are the best to skate in as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, I bought a pair of the charcoal gray slip and love them, but one thing, if I wear them for a short period, they are ok, but I recently had to go to a college campus, and walk for over a mile, up and down stairs, on sidewalks, all over the campus, for well over a mile both ways(back to the car, and I wore my Vans slip ons. As much as I love them,and I always will love Vans, walking in those slip ons for as long as I did, killed my feet, so now, I am going to try out the new Vans Ultra range model, more like a padded/cushioned/arch supported shoe, my feet may be greatful for. We will see. I am still waiting on the Zappos shipment. My old feet just cant take the no arch support of the slip ons anymore. But, I'm not giving up my Vans, mayby just have to wear a different model now. Long live Vans.....

I really enjoyed how quickly this product shipped. When I opened the box, the shoe looked exactly like the picture. However, when I tried it on, it was very wide on my foot. The size I ordered fit well, but the width made the shoe uncomfortable.

Super cute. Like the idea I can slip these on to walk the dog or play with her in the yard. Although I normally wear a 6 I found these slightly small. I think I will size up to a 6.5

I've always had a pair of Vans. Tried and true shoes for just relaxing somewhere. Decent grip, even when wet. I use these for cruising around on a board or when I go to a beach/ get on a boat. Great feel.

I ordered these for my son for a summer trip. They look awesome and totally retro just like what I wore 30 plus years ago. This is not a shoe you want to wear if you are going to spend a lot of time on your feet. They don't have great arch support and my son complained often of his feet hurting during our trip, but he still choose to wear them everyday because they looked so good.

I bought these to replace my Converse because those are too narrow for me feet after having two kids. These are wider in the ball of the foot which is so much more comfortable for me. I like to wear them with cropped jeans and skinny jeans for the feel of a tennis shoe without the bulk of an athletic shoe. They don't have the best arch support but they're much better than my Chucks or my flip flops.

Terrible arch support but that seems to be the trend with shoes like this (converse, sandals, etc.). I still like the shoes as they are good for pairing with any outfit.

My son loves this slip on Van's style and has purchased several pairs. When this pair arrived it was oddly small. We thought maybe his foot had suddenly grown, but we found the same item at the local Van's store and the size we ordered from Zappo's fit him, was true to size. Summary: Weird, unexplained fit issue...too small.

Love the shoe, but the 9 1/2 feels a bit short. I've taken a couple long walks with the shoe and it feels good. I would recommend this shoe to anyone looking for a slip-on sneaker type shoe. It's very comfortable, the arch is adequate.

I ordered these to replace the ones I destroyed after several years of hard wear. Vans are my ideal shoe for around the house and running errands by car when I'm sporting my typical non-work day yoga pants or jeans. More stylish than running shoes, comfortable and easy to slip on. Only downside is that they don't work well for days when I walk a lot since they do they don't have a ton of support or padding.

I have been wearing my new Vans for about 3 weeks now and they are fitting better with every wearing. Because of previous reviews I ordered 1/2 size up (10). I may reorder another color in the fall and try another size up (10.5) because of my longer second toe. The width is fine. I have had foot surgery for bone spurs and I try to wear very supportive shoes for walking, but these are comfortable for average walking distances. Very cool looking on, and they go with everything!

I've been wearing these shoes for about 8 years now. Classic black on black slip on has always been my preferred style. One complaint this time around, it took a month to break in the heel. For whatever reason it was digging into my heel and causing a lot of pain and blistering. It eventually got better but took very long and the process hurt a lot. Maybe I just got a wonky pair after all these years??

Great shoe. Took a couple of wears to mold to my feet but once it did, able to wear all day long with no complaints!

These shoes look sharp! I can't wait to wear them for my graduation in a week. Classic Vans slip-on look and feel. Not a ton of arch support, but a solid everyday shoe.

I bought these shoes based on the reviews, and they're cute and comfortable. However, I have a couple of pairs of Keds slip on sneakers, and these are not as comfy for 2 reasons. First, the inside of the shoe feels rougher than the inside of the Keds, so walking in them is not as comfortable. Also, the top of the shoe is higher than the Keds, and I prefer the lower cut. I'm keeping these and wearing them - they just aren't my favorites.

I have been seeking a pair of white flats to wear in the summer for the days that I don't feel like wearing flip flops. Unfortunately, they were not particularly comfortable for me. To compound matters, my 8-year old daughter took one look at them and said, "Nope. Not for you." These may be too trendy for my current stage of life . . . I normally wear an 8 wide or an 8.5 medium. I ordered these in an 8 women's 8 medium and they fit okay. Perhaps a bit tight all around (I was wearing them with Van canoodle socks), but I suspect they would have stretched out if I had kept them.
