My son loves these shoes! He knew exactly what he wanted and couldn't even find it in the local Vans outlet. The prices matched the store and the shoes are perfect.

I've always loved Vans. The grey color is my favorite right now, wish they had grey & white checkers! My only complaint is that even with socks I still get a irritation where the top of the sneakers meet my heel. Any suggestions on how to stretch this out?

Cute, perfect slip-ons to run around town in. Will even be good for all day at work, just as soon as my heels toughen up. My feet are used to boots, so even with the cushioned rim these shoes seem to cut into the backs of my heels after walking around a few hours. Getting better after a few weeks of wear, and I'm confident that these will end up being my go-to comfy shoes.

In 1984, when I was in the fourth grade, my aunt got me my first pair of checkered slip-on Vans, because I raced BMX at the time. I recently decided to get back into BMX, and figured I'd stay true to my roots with some slip-ons. These are great. A little expensive, considering how cheap they must be to make, but I guess the premium is for the Vans name, which is fine with me. My only complaint is that Vans glues their insoles into their canvas shoes. This drives me nuts, but keeps my local shoe cobbler happy because I have him take them out and glue in some Spenco insoles instead. These shoes are great for BMX, just like I remembered, but they have zero arch support for regular use, and I probably won't wear them when I'm not on my bike - unless I do it purely for style, because they have mad style.

These shoes are one of my husbands favorites. They are stylish and easy to slip on and off. This is especially useful when trying to leave the house with a crying baby.

The shipping was super fast. I ended up paying for 3-5 day shipping to ensure I had it in time for a present but they ended packing and shipping same day as my order and I received them the next day at no extra cost! Awesome shoe. I waited over 6 months for this shoe, to become available in size Mens 10.5! Zappos sent me an email, to let me know. Love Zappos. I have this shoe in several colors. It has the cool, old school vibe on Converse...but unlike Converse, these are actually really comfortable. Easy on, easy off. They look dope with jeans or shorts. With or without socks. I've been wearing this style shoe for over 25 years!

I wore Vans in the 80's when I was young and loved them. Thought I would try them again. Still love them!

Great classics. The look of Van, comfortable. I would recommend to order 1/2 size up for wide feet. Great service from Zappos: fast delivery and easy exchanges.

Classic Vans, what can you say? If you don't already own at least three pairs of these; it's probably time for another. Lace-ups are awesome too.

This style of shoe is great, however if you have wide feet they may be a little snug, but they stretch after a while!

great shoe, but sizing is different from other companies. I usually go one size smaller then I actually am.

I have loved Vans since I was a skate punk kid in the '80s. I also like to buy myself a new pair of canvas sneakers every spring. This year I will replace the grey pair I got and loved last year not because they have worn out, but I got them dirty and they are too small. I ordered my usual size, 8, and the shoes are way too tight even when I wear no socks (which I rarely wear with Vans). This year I am going to get a more fun color and hope an 8.5 fits me well.

Great, comfortable shoe. Seems sturdy enough though I've not had them long. Would recommend breaking them in before wearing for extended periods/long walks (but that's typical of any new shoe). I'm surprised so many people marked this as true to size--I had to return my normal size (10) for a 9.5.

Can't go wrong with these Vans. I got these in white and I find they only last one season (or year). My last pair got a hole in the toe. But they are great with jeans or shorts. Nice and comfy and not much arch support. On the wide side (but not overly so).

This is my first pair of Vans and I love them. They look great with jeans, but also with casual slacks.

I needed these shoes for a boat. For some reason, the color just matched the mood and water of this pleasure cruise. I won massive amounts of money in a foreign company casino. Was it the shoes? Probably. It sure wasn't the smoke. Many old ladies (and men) were eyeing these. I almost got caned and numerous side-eyes were thrown my way. Luckily, I wasn't in a walker. I think they knew these shoes were classic. Next time, I'll let them know that they can be purchased in various sizes/colors on zappos.com.

I ordered these as summer shoes. I really hate laces. Got these a half size bigger just in case. I'm glad I didn't order 10.5 (my usual size) because they would have been tight. Other than needing a half size up, they are fantastic.

Tired of tying your shoes? I know I am. I'm also tired of the heavy, inflexible support of running shoes like Doc Martins, that has actually contributed to my flat feet. As a reaction against products that make my feet worse, and my nostalgia for 1982, I sought to satisfy my memories with Vans. Note that I am not a skater, but just wanted a slip-on that was comfy and did not look like a dress shoe. Well, they are not magical, but they fit the bill. I wear them whenever I am outside of work and not wearing slippers or Vibram 5-Fingers (for running). So far, no slipping, climbing or descending San Francisco's rain soaked sidewalks (there is no flat ground in this town.) The only problem is the styling, which looks like the shoes women wear in prison (although those are probably Keds). So, just don't wear these with orange. I will be purchasing other pairs, perhaps in blue or something retro, like checkerboard. 1982 is back, baby!

Love these shoes. They come in my size (16) which is sometimes hard to find, especially at such a low price. Not ideal shoes for running or hiking, but I'd assume you could see that from looking at them. Haven't tied my shoes in years because of these, and if you like simple design aesthetic (I do), these shoes are simply the best.

These are wicked comfortable! Plus they are really cool looking. You gotta love the red soles. Zappos service cannot be beat.
