I was looking for a casual pair of light-duty sneakers that were conservatively styled. These were the best that I could find. I'd like them better if the elastic was not stark white, the sticking was the color of the shoe, and the sobbing around the top was not white. They fit well.

I love Vans, except I always have to insert a better insole. Otherwise, I can't walk very long in them.

My 14 year old boy loves these, they make a unique and fun addition to his jeans and t shirt kind of vibe at school. He thinks they are comfortable, even great for a little friendly soccer pickup game.

I need more arch support than vans can offer so I use my own custom inserts but it was extremely difficult to take out the factory inserts. I thought I'd never get those things out!

Insoles are glued to shoe and therefore not removable: therefore, if one wants after-market insoles, one can only *add* them on top of the insoles that cone with the shoe and thus make the shoe smaller; one cannot replace the factory-default, non-custom ones that come with the shoe. And if the insoles wear out, one cannot remove/replace then to (re)freshen them/the shoes (neither can the insoles be removed to help the shoes dry faster if one wants). Would I recomend them? This would depend on the context, what one wants them for.

Bit of a break in period. Bit of rubbing in the arch area. But once they're are worn in, you don't have a problem. Love the elevated look of this style.

I bought the white leather by accident but I was pleasantly surprised. I will never buy the canvas ones again. This is a great shoe and you are able to wipe them off to keep them white.

I was very comfortable with the legs. Its structure is very smooth.

i have many versions of this shoe b/c i love it so. the leather top is really tight and needs to be stretched out. not comfortable yet but i have hope.

The shoes are overall really nice. They are light, comfortable and breathable. They are a little on the narrow side so if you have a wider foot the area where.the elastic is sown to the shoe can cause some discomfort over extended wear. They are super light and the perforation makes the shoes breath very well. That being said if it's cold, your feet will be cold. They are great for wearing with and without socks, I'd reccomend thinner socks if you have a larger foot. Additionally the heel area is leather so there is a possibility for blistering if you go sockless. Overall I really enjoy these shoes and I would definitely reccomend buying them

These shoes have been a staple for my son since he was in pre-k. I've been buying this exact shoe in this very same color for over 10 years now. We both love them, they go with everything and he continues to ask for the Classic Slip-Ons every time he outgrows the size. I love the Vans Slip-On shoes myself and have been wearing them for well over 20 years. I have quite a collection of canvas and leather ones now. Don't ever stop making these, we are fans for life!

I wore these exact shoes in SoCal during the 80's and these feel exactly the same. No. Scratch that. These feel even better. Vans and I are both products of 1966, so we'll always be attached at the hip. Or feet. You know what I meant. Honestly, if you remember wearing these before, get them again. They just got better.

I used to have these a couple years ago and my dog chewed on them when he was a puppy, while my husband was supposed to be keeping an eye on him... so I told him he needed to replace them for my birthday because I missed them. Happy to have them back! True to size, comfy, and the baby blue is perfect and matches most of my wardrobe!

Cute and I like how you can just wipe them off HOWEVER I own 6 pairs of vans all in the same size and I bought these in the same size but they are sooo tight. I thought I just needed to break them in but after a week of wearing them they are still tight and I now have a huge open blister on my left ankle. They are also starting to crease which isn't that big of a deal to me. Very disappointed about the tightness though and the blister

It only took a few minutes of walking around in these classic slip-ons to break them in. They're solid and comfortable, and I have 2 other pairs.
