I'm a 45 year old active mom. I've worn Converse all-stars for over 20 years, so I thought I would try Vans. I love them - inexpensive, comfortable, in style. However, my teenaged daughter told me I could not wear them when I was with her! She would be embarrassed that I was wearing "skater dude" sneakers. I still may keep them.

Loved these instantly. No breaking in needed. The sole is not the most comfy but not a big deal for a shoe that's just for kicking around, not serious walking.

There is not much to say about these classic Vans slip-ons. Except they are comfortable from the minute you slide them on. They run true to size, are comfortable all day with the Vans gum sole, and padded area around the ankle. A great price for classic shoes, from a great company!

These were purchased for my husband. He loves Vans slip ons but they aren't meant for wearing all day walking, etc. Or if on feet all day they are a flatter shoe without any support. They're a great shoe!

These shoes are comfortable to wear for leisure but are not designed for standing for long periods. Fun design and comfortable fit.

Nice,casual shoe. Practical, easy slip on shoe that my son wears for work that is reasonably priced. I purchase these for my son who asks for a new pair of Vans every Christmas. Vans are his favorite shoe because there are many styles and colors to choose from.

Loved the shoe. I just decided that I would rather have the white sole instead of the black. So I'm doing an exchange. Zappos have excellent customer service that is why I always order from them.

Great shoe, 2nd pair for my 10 year old in this style. Helpful Tip... Vans run big. So order 1/2 or a size down.

My son loves these shoes. They are so comfortable and can be worn all year long. This is the second pair he has purchased from Zappos.

I purchased these for my son as a Christmas gift and he loved them. He stated they were really comfortable and had a great fit. He particularly liked the black rubber sole. He loved them. Also Zappos was great, cause I got my order as promised.

Nope. I tried them knowing it was a risk. Unless your feet are rectangular in shape, these probably won't work for you. I could have maybe made them work because, hey, they're Vans and inherently cool, but the right shoe had a weird lump of stitching on the inside arch-- one day of that and I would have been left with a bloody right dog. No thanks. Am back to looking at less cool, but oh-so-comfy Skechers slip-ons. I tried, Vans, really, I tried...would it hurt you to go ahead and design a shoe for gals? Unisex sizing, while progressive and appealing, doesn't respect the feminine foot so much.

I love this shoe, seriously. As a college student, I was looking for a stylish shoe that offered comfort and was strong enough to endure walking around the campus. My feet felt light all day as if I was wearing house shoes. The shoe is true to size and width, which I was uncertain about prior to buying the shoe. I was excited Zappos carried this shoe in a large size, 14 for the tall people, or those with larger feet.This is the second pair of the Vans Classic Slip-On I bought from Zappos, the other was in blue. I definitely found a great shoe and could not be happier. If you do not have a pair of these shoes, you are missing out. Thank you, Zappos for keeping us taller Americans with large feet looking good!

I like the way these shoes look, but I first ordered in my normal size and could barely get my foot in the shoe with socks. I returned them and got 1/2 size larger. They still feel snug, but because they are canvas, I think they will fit more comfortably the longer I wear them.

I haven't worn yet but love Vans Classic shoes, which I always get for my daughters. They are durable and easy to wear in the warm weather. A 'no brainer' really. Love it.

I have been looking for theses shoes for months. Zappos was he only one that had them. These are great shoes from Vans.

I am never wearing another pair of shoes! These are pretty comfortable and I love that I can wear them with jeans and skirts, with socks and without, totally casual or a little bit dressy (I am not a very dressy person). They are just super easy shoes.

Nice looking shoes, at a reasonable price, but I can't comment on anything else about them, because I couldn't get them on. My size is a men's 8.5, which is what I ordered, but I could not even get my foot inside the shoe. I will send them back (Zappos has a great return policy), but I'm not sure if I'll order the same shoe in a bigger size, or a different shoe altogether. If you order, be aware that they run very small, not true to size.

I prefer an all black shoe and this has a red tag on the back. One of the shoes feels slightly more snug than the other around the top elastic part. Next time I will go with a lace-up shoe. Overall a pretty decent shoe.

I got these as an alternative to tennis shoes with laces. They are very comfortable, I have psoriasis on the soles of my feet so comfort is an issue. Also have bunions to some extent but I can wear these all day.

I bought these for my boyfriend to replace the same ones I bought him last year. They do take a few wears to break-in, but are excellent shoes. He loves them and wears them all the time.

While I have to admit to being a total fan of anything "Van" related, I need to tell anybody looking to buy this particular shoe that you can't go wrong with this purchase. The style is admittedly plain but I love the slip on look and the convenience and comfort are the bomb! I like the black/black color scheme but they have a huge variety of color combos for you to choose from. You will really have to look hard to find a reason not to buy this fine shoe but reasons to buy it are readily evident and numerous. Do yourselves a favor and purchase this incredible pair of shoes. One more thing; you will never find a reason not to buy this shoe or any other product from Zappos. The service and prices you find here are incredible to say the least. Shipping is free and magically fast and the products are more than reasonably priced. Go ahead and get these shoes and buy them at Zappos!
