These are the sickest shoes ever - If you knew how old I am, you would faint. These are the coolest, most comfortable, and hippest shoes you can wear. I am a girl, I am no Barbie, but when I teach my hard core tough inner city kids? I get instant respect when they see I am wearing black/black Vans. 2 inch spikes? Squinchy fashionable shoes? Forget it. Give me the never gives up simple style, beauty, and grace of vans black/black slip ons. My kids wear them, I wear them, my students wish they wore them. Thanks Vans and thanks Zappos for stocking black/black in my size, having them for me, and shipping them faster than fast. These shoes make the first day of school almost ok. Much love, Lise L. Love Them - 2006 is the year of the slip-on. These shoes are comfortable and versatile.

Foot Massage - I don't do reviews, but, after buying from Zappos I just had to do this. This shoe is just what I was looking for. I couldn't find it at any store within 50 miles of where I live. It’s so comfortable and what you see is what you get. Guys, you know how hard it is to go into a store and get a large selection of shoes to pick from. I go on line to Zappos and look at hundreds.

Flashback to greatness! My wife bought me these shoes in the black/white check... GREATNESS! Super comfortable. Easy to wear. Relaxed look. A perfect shoe. Caveat: The only issue we had is in the baby sizes... The shoes (probably because they are slip-on and not ties) seem to feel a size smaller than needed. We needed a 7 instead of the usual 6...

Great shoe - I love the way this shoe looks. It's not the most comfortable shoe in the world, but purchasing a gel sole greatly improved the overall comfort.

THANKS! My son (fashion maven that he is), decided to "Rock the Vans,” as he puts it with his tuxedo to his senior Prom! We ordered them from Zappos.com, with just a short window prior to the prom. Fit true to size. Have had 4 pairs. Enjoy them. One of the few in my size in a slip-on.

Old comfort in the now - I graduated in 1986 and wore my Vans till they fell apart...even though made elsewhere now...than goodness the comfort still remains!

Cool shoes - Cool shoes, no arch, but everybody knows there's no arch in a pair of Vans.

My First Pair of Real Vans Slip-ons - After years of buying cheap knockoffs (including copycat checkerboards in the '80's), I finally splurged and bought two pairs of Vans slip-ons, in black and monochrome black. (Zappos' customer service and shipping are the best.) I wear an 11 wide in most shoes, so I got the 11.5. They fit great after a few days of breaking in, and the padded collar keeps your heel from slipping. If you have wide feet, definitely order a half size up from what you usually wear. I airbrushed orange and red flames on the black ones; they look so sick. I may do the same to the monochrome ones.

Cool shoes - I really like these shoes! They are comfy and so easy because you don't have to worry about laces...I love they style-it's funky!

Cute & Comfortable!! I bought these shoes for my daughter and she LOVES them. We bought the pink & black check color. She wears a woman’s size 10.5 and these fit her great.

VANS - Same as ever - Vans are the original comfortable slip on. They still have the same classic look as the ones you remember. Of course there are other styles available now too and some of the old Checkerboard retro/80's too.

Black on black Vans Classic Slip-On - Boy I am excited! Zappos was out of this black on black style, so I put myself on their "notify me when you get them" list. And they did!!! (It took a couple of months); that's great customer service. (Because everywhere else I found them they were out of most sizes). They are way cooler than black on black converse & more comfortable too.

Quality Plus - I love slip-on deck shoes. I have severe back problems and these shoes are perfect for me! The Vans shoe is of higher quality than the others I ordered, I had to send them back. Thank You Zappos, for being on line and for carrying the Vans brand.

I own the black and red checkerd vans, I love them. They're an eye catcher and many people comment to me and ask me where I got them, they are very comfortable shoes, but not good for walking for long periods of time, or long distances, or running, no laces make them easier to put on, Zappos rocks.

Van's Classic Slip Ons - Very satisfied with Zappos prompt delivery (within 5 days of placing order) My daughter had worn Converse "Chucks" for ages. She now enjoys the comfort, cool looks, no shoelaces and the extra cushioning to go to LA Raves. When we searched for this shoe at the van's store in Orange County, California they never seemed to have her size or color in stock. Now we're saving time and gas money plus the added benefit of receiving the professional services of Zappos and we plan on ordering lots more styles in the future. The selections are enormous! Vans - Good casual summer shoe. You can dress them up or down and still be fly. You need to order a half size down though. I usually wear a 9 1/2 but 9 fits comfortably.

Mid life crisis solution - Checkerboard Vans - Not only did I impress my kids by getting these, they are very comfortable and easy to slip on/off. I wear them everyday.

Love my Vans! Vans are my favorite tennis-shoe *EVER*. I usually rock the old-skool classics, and this is my first time trying the slip-ons. I usually wear an 8.5, and this size fits perfectly if I wear thin socks; otherwise it's a little tight. I've tried going up a size and wearing thicker socks but they're still a little big. Zappos is my favorite place *EVER* to buy shoes (best prices, fastest shipping, great customer service, etc) but I'm disappointed that they've got a higher price than everyone else for this shoe; even the free shipping doesn't balance out the cost. But they had them when everyone else was sold out, so what are you going to do.
