It's a classic and fits true to size. The canvas is off white and true to the original color.

Great shoes, I have owned the leather version before these, and these are a great improvement. I would be careful they are a bit narrow for me. I am just between a Wide and narrow foot so it takes a bit to stretch them out.

exactly what I wanted. feels a little bit tight - especially at night when my feet swell - but overall it is a very nice everyday shoes

You can never go wrong with classic Vans. They are always comfy out of the box and go with everything.

Comfortable and fits perfectly true to size

These were already used. I thought we got new items? I tried them on an need a bigger size. So I am returning them to get a size 9 instead. Weird to pay full price and get used shoes though.

I received this shoe today and was very disappointed. The shoe looks to have been warn, maybe it was a return. The inside is stained, the outside rubber is chipped, the vans label on the back is rubbed off and the white material on the shoe is discolored. I am disappointed in Zappos for sending out a product in this condition.

I always liked this style. They look better with a cropped, skinny jean. I find the Vans that have the laces more comfortable than these. I hardly end of wearing this style.

I love the simple style of vans and these plain black with white bottoms are perfect. As with most of the other vans they don't really have a lot of cushion or arch support.

A classic favorite for many years. I love the charcoal color, it's versatile and a little bit different than what you usually expect from Vans. I love them!

Classic checkerboard Vans, I love you and I hate you but I just can’t quit you. Yes, you take forever to break in properly and still sometimes give me a blister or 2 because I refuse to wear socks with you. Yes, you make my feet look huge and have zero arch support or padding. Just like the bad boy you can’t stop obsessing over - you’re terrible for me but I just can’t give you up. When I die you can pry my stinky checkerboard Vans from my cold dead hands.

Classic! I love these slip-ons. They are comfortable and true to size.

Given these shoes are slip-on rather than laced, it's really no surprise that these feel loose on the feet comparatively. I almost sent them back to get a half size smaller, and I still might. But they do seem to be better as they are being broken in, oddly enough. As for the classic, no-frills style... It's great!

Love the shoes but the left one has a small "hump" inside. Almost feels like arch support except it's on the outer edge of my foot. Hoping it goes away as the break in.

This is my 16 year old son's second pair of Vans, his first pair of slip-ons. Initially they were a little snug and hard to get on but within a couple of days he was slipping in and out of them without any issues. He does say that they tend to ride up and down on his heel - but not to the extent to cause blisters. If he purchased a smaller size this might have resolved this issue but then they would have been very hard to get in to. Overall he loves them. They appear well made and colors are true to their description.

Bought these in "Ballerina Pink". I love the look of them. They have different pressure points than the "Authentic" lace up. They fit true to size but I wish they were a little wider in the toe box. The upper inside of the toe box has what seems to be glued on cloth reinforcement. Unfortunately it needs to run the entire length of the toe box as after some wear it started to detach, shred and gave me blisters. The goring hits one of my feet in the wrong place and that gave me a blister too. I do wear them without socks though. I wish the footbed was removable so I could put my own insole in for more cushion and arch support. I've been wearing Van's since they opened in 1966 but alas, my feet have "aged" and they're not as comfy as they used to be.

Ordered these for my husband. Said they were exactly what he was hoping for. Fit true to size and comfortable.

I love Vans in general so this was an easy buy. But the red/black checker was awesome and I immediately got compliments when I wore them. Super Comfy. I took the soles out and put my orthotics in which made them even better!! Keep in mind Vans are totally flat -- no arch at all.

Awesome shoes! They're Vans so you really can't go wrong. This is my second pair of these and they're my go to for any weather besides pouring rain or snowing. They look really nice with pants and shorts. The best part is that you can slip them on while everyone else are tying shoes. Winner.

Love vans!! These are true to size, though they don't have an arch support Vans fit comfortably. Not only that but they're well made! I highly recommend!!!!!

As a teenager living a block from a Southern California beach, Slip-on Vans were a part of Life. Now as a Senior, they still are a necessity. Love 'em.
