I bought my first pair of Vans in 1983, blue and red checkerboard (which isn't offered any more). I purchased the pink and black checkerboard shoes, and I have mixed feelings about them. On the positive, they bring a rush of nostalgia so strong it's almost painful, but on the negative they don't seem to fit as well as the originals. They are a bit narrower than I remember they were 20 years ago. Otherwise, I love them and will keep buying more colors, albeit in size wider.

Very comfy, but have taken some breaking in. Definitely got blisters on the backs of my ankles and the sides of my feet when I walked around for a long time the first several times.

Classic Shoe - I bought the black and white checkerboard design and they are a comfortable and attention-grabbing shoe. Not the most supportive shoe ever made but fine for loafing around.

Vans Classic Slip-On - This shoe is exactly what I expected it to be no surprises. Van's has been making shoes like this for nearly four decades with very little change. They are sized bigger than normal so adjustments are necessary otherwise a good classic shoe.

Black on Black Vans - They're fun!

Canvas comfort - These shoes are very stylish, comfortable and a pleasure to wear. They came in a wide variety of sizes, colors and were priced right. Vans run a 1/2 size small but I adjusted my order.

Van's Classic Slip-On’s- No where else but Vans can you get an awesome variety of colors in a classic shoe. These run narrow, so buy a size larger for a comfortable fit.

Vans are the best - I'm 37 and have worn Vans since I was 19. Can't get anything better than a slip on.

Yay Vans - Good shoe, breaks in nice and fast. Very comfy for my long days on my feet at work.

Style and simplicity- What is there to say about a shoe already called a classic? Although the Van's Classic Slip-On could maybe be a bit more generous in width, the shoe is what it claims to be- a classic. It goes anywhere with any attire, and does reasonably well with heavy use for the kind of shoe it is. A better width than the checkered style of the same shape- which is odd: shouldn't the sizing be consistent across the brand?

Good Buy - It had a simple design with an eye-catching pattern and was easy to slip on. It also matched with a lot of looks.

Black Vans Classic Very good value! The look is exactly as pictured which is what I wanted. Very pleased. Since my feet are a little squared, these shoes give my pinkie toes a little discomfort. It goes away after some walking and I predict it won't be an issue after they are broken in. So if your feet are like mine, wear them a while around the house first.

Can't Get Enough - Truly, what is there to honestly say about Vans Classic Slip-On? The recently released black on black colorway is for any fashionable young man who is neither willing to sacrifice his comfort nor his style. The canvas slip-on is very comfortable, snug to keep your foot in place but not hurt it. The width of the shoe is true to its dimensions. My only fault is with the sole being a different shade of black and a little dull after cleaning. The age of slip-on being exclusive to the elderly is over. Let the games begin.

Groovy, Cool Shoes- These are really retro style shoes. Easy to slip on and off; relatively comfortable, but do not try to hike in them.

Wish they had wide widths- Use to wear these all the time very comfortable for the first 6 months of wear , but now that Vans doesn’t make wide anymore (9 EEEE), I can't wear this style now. These also fade in Color.

A Classic! - What can you say about Vans that hasn't already been said? They're a classic. The cool thing about this particular pair is the groovy design involving bees and the color orange - my favorite. Thanks!

Sweet deal - I love 'em. I switched from Converse Lo-tops because these Vans slip-ons are way more comfortable, and they are way easier to get on and off too.

Just like I remember them - Good ol' Vans haven't changed a bit since I wore 'em in high school 20+ years ago. Still comfortable and way styling'. I gave the shoe an overall rating of 4 stars because it really has no support, so isn't great for wearing day after day. Bonus: the Bumblefudge print got lots of admiring comments.

This is a great fitting shoe. Comfortable out of the box. Good soles. I love the look too, I got the red with the black skull and crossbones. Definitely a conversation starter.

Fashionable and Comfortable - I received my shoes just one day(!) after I ordered them. I was pleased that the shoe color they show on the computer is really what you get it. These shoes aren't the best to wear if you're feet are Swollen because then they're hard to pull on. Other than that they're the perfect on-the-go shoe, just slip on and go. I love these shoes, Zappos has always been a loyal and faithful company, and I'm glad I bought them and bought them from here!

Good shoe, nice look - These shoes look great and they fit well as long as you buy one half size smaller than you expect. They don't give much support so you might not want to wear them everyday if you work on your feet or anything. But for a good looking shoe to wear around town they're sweet.

Damn Great - The shoes are great lookers and an excellent fit.

Comfy but smelly - These are really comfortable after about 4 days of breaking them in. They cause a couple of blisters the first few times you wear them, but nothing too bad. Unfortunately because of what they're made out of as well as the limited breathability of them, they make your feet smell pretty bad. And they don't smell so great themselves. But some odor eliminating powder can take care of that. Also, they feel a little narrow at first but stretch out quite nicely.

Great - Felt great, looked good, very comfortable and will buy again in different colors!
