Love these. Just slightly more stylish than the canvas version, light, comfortable and easy to wipe clean.

We are a family of Vans Fans. My 10 year old daughter wanted a “summer sneaker” and these work perfectly. I have been wearing and reordering the gray/black checkered style for years. They will stretch. They will give. But they are among the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned, with or without socks. The sole (soul?) of this shoe is pure white. The gray is a slightly warmer gray. The rubber will start to wear out where the shoe bends if you wear them all the time. But they are built to last a season of heavy use, longer if they are “in the mix” of warm weather shoes. I took off one star because there is no arch support, but these could support a thin insert.

Love the look of these. Sizing was a little odd because the top doesn’t have much give. They do rub the back of my ankles a bit, but I’m hoping the more I wear them the quicker that will go away. Other than that I’m pretty pleased and love the clean, but a little bit edgy look

Very versatile and they are easy to throw on with any outfit, fancy of casual.

I wear a size 11.5 in an adidas running shoe but in a dress shoe I wear 10.5 and 11.5 in this converse fits me great. I even have a slightly wider foot and the width is just right. I do have a slightly high instep and can feel a little pressure but I am sure it will go away. Overall great shoe, my last pair started separating, the canvas from the rubber but I wore them a lot. This time I plan to keep track of how long they last so I can review the next pair I buy.

I've repurchased so many pairs of these shoes... Always consistent. I'm normally a women's 8.5 or 9 and I buy these in the men's 7.5/women's 9 and they fit perfect. a little tight at first but they break in fast.

These run a little big, we had to order a half size down. My teen daughter loves them and wears them often. A classic casual shoe!

I have worn Vans for years. This time I purchased the black perforated leather version, which are perfect for commuting to and from work on the bus. I have wider feet, and apparently also kind of high arches (from the floor to the top of my foot is rather high and sometimes makes shoes tight or difficult to get into, if that makes sense). Anyway because of this it takes a couple of wearings to break Vans in since they are pretty narrow. I normally wear a 7.5 / 8 and buy these in Men's 6/Women's 7.5. I have tried other brands of similar looking shoes to get a better fit for my wide feet, but I really do prefer the classic look and endless colors of Vans.

Vans are always a classic. I purchased the black on black checkerboard and love the color scheme! I did notice they are a little bit tighter than my other slip ons, not enough to be uncomfortable but I think because these seem to have more color or dye on them it may have effected the canvas in that way. I know they will still stretch out and fit great after a few wears so I’m not concerned.

Arrived quickly. The shoes were exactly what I expected. They I have other Vans in size 11 and I ordered these without trying them on and the 11s in the slip ons fit perfectly. They require minimal breaking in - if you wear sockless when they're new expect an achilles blister. Look great. Glad I bought them.

I love the pewter check Vans (women’s 8), but after a very few wearings I noticed the left and right aren’t quite the same color. They’ve always been stored in the dark. The color is quite consistent on each shoe, but the two differ significantly. I think the two were made from different lots of fabric.

These are great for slipping on in a hurry. Good for wearing around the house, and versatile enough to wear for anything else.
