Classic! I bought a pair of these in Venice Beach a few years ago, and they became my favorite pair of shoes that summer. I'm really happy to see that Vans is making them again.

These shoes rock!!! I had a pair of these back in the day ('90-91ish) and have been hoping, dreaming and waiting for the day I found them again!! Here are my old friends!!! I'm gonna shed a tear!!

Casual classic - Classic Vans style that I love. Vans quality is still good on these. The navy is really dark and looks cool. They feel great and no one else has them.

Back in action - Good lord, why was this shoes ever pulled? I'm learning to walk all over again...let alone dance.

Sweetest style from the 90's - I searched online for these shoes and only a handful of old style Vans would pop up, so I went to Zappos. Dude, I grew up in these shoes and I must be the happiest guy with a size 16 shoe because I now have those memories of youth every time I wear them.

Hell Yea!!! Chukka Boots - I thought these shoes were gone for ever till now thank god for zappos.com I finally have my fav vans ever made and they are just like I remember them!!! woo hoo

They're back! I loved these shoes back in high school (over 10 yrs ago), and was sad to see them disappear from the line. I think these would have to be my all time favorites. Comfortable, stylish, yet unobnoxious. You can't go wrong here.

I bought these shoes in a soft Cororody Material from Zappos - I think this shoe was very nice looking and feeling; However I am a die-hard skater and the cordoroy did not hold up against my grip tape for more then two days. For a casual shoe you can not beat it.

I adore these, but they've given me all kinds of trouble. First off, I'm a woman. I ordered my usual size (women's 6/men's 4.5). Way too big, so I exchanged for a half size down (very easy exchange, thanks Zappos). This size was much better in the length but still had room to add an arch support from the drugstore (Vans are very flat). However, these are the widest shoes I've ever had! I live in NYC and walk a lot, and my heels moved around so much that I got terrible blisters. I added moleskin inside - still ended up with bleeding blisters even with thick socks. Now I've added soft heel pads, and I'll see how that goes. A ton of work for shoes, but the look is so great that I'm willing to go to extreme measures. Maybe these are exclusively for men's wider feet and slim women should look elsewhere.

Looks cool but needs more support -

No longer made in the USA - I was mad when I saw made in China. I got my new Vans thinking Made in USA, not anymore. They're still as cool as they were 20 years ago. These are timeless shoes. If you grew up with Vans and have always liked 'em, you wont be disappointed with the look. Since Vans has sold out to China this will be my last pair.

Not the same as I remember - I like the Chukka boot alot, I wasn't able to find them at stores for a few years! I am glad I found Zappos. Although the shoe is basically the same, they now have 5 holes for laces, the chukka boots I used to get had four holes! The biggest problem is that the eyelets from the shoe laces are of very poor quality, a few of them have fallen off and I have only had the shoes for about 3 weeks--don't like that very much, but I like the shoe so much, I will be ordering more very soon!

Style for miles - Black on black Vans Chukka boots, quite simply the coolest smoothest looking kicks I've ever had, and they're back! There are 3 significant changes to the ones I used to buy from surf shops in the early nineties: 1. The holes that the laces go through are now painted black instead of bare metal. 2. The 'Vans' rubber tab on the back heel is now red and white instead of black and white. 3. They've sewn on a little 'Vans' tab on the top of the side of the shoe. Chukka boots look awesome with pants or shorts. The only problem is comfort, the footbed has no arch support and there is a lot of friction in the big toe area and little toe area. They are uncomfortable for walking any kind of distance, even with athletic socks. But for strictly street coolness, good luck finding a better pair of kicks! And nobody has them.

A classic reborn! I gotta tell you. I loved these shoes back in the day, and had them in several colors. Sadly they dissapeared and I searched for years to find them again. Luckily I stumbled upon Zappos and found them! I ordered several pairs so I would never be without them again!

Sharp looking old school - These feel just like my first pair of Vans c. 1982. Nice looking shoe, but the lack of any arch support makes them a little uncomfortable.

Classic Vans Chukka Boot - Great looking shoe, I've had several pairs years and years ago. Wears well with nearly everything. As far as comfort, could use a little better insole. Nostalgic buy.

Not as good as I remember - I love the look but they're not as comfortable as I remember. The suede seems cheaper than I remember too. I'd buy them again thought cause I love the look.

squeaky - These shoes squeek when ya walk in them...very disappointed

The boots are light, comfortable, and stylish. I was very happy with Zappos' customer service. Originally, I ordered another type of boot, but they didn't fit. I called Zappos' customer service to ask them if I can exchange them. They said, yes. Zappos emailed me a return shipping label for the boots that didn't fit plus Zappos shipped me the chukka boots for free. I received them the next day. They gave me back the difference in price for the boots which was a good amount. I couldn't be happier for a first-time customer.

The best Christmas gifts are the ones you give yourself. I bought these chukkas in black suede; now really, is there any other color combination? They fit great (11.5 Vans always do for me) and look cool, and I'll be wearing them to Christmas dinner tomorrow. My old Airwalk Blammos (a similar but inferior chukka boot) are headed for the thrift store.
