the classic version of this shoe is so uncomfortable but I thought I could order up a half size to make room for an acceptable aftermarket insole. I tried the Cush version of this shoe and the insole is much better but the volume of the shoe especially in the instep was not adjusted so excruciating pain there starts after about 10 minutes of wear.
I’m giving up on these vans for now.

I wanted to love these shoes because they look great. However, they are the most uncomfortable and narrow shoes I have had. They are completely flat, and no removable insole so it makes them too tight for an added insole. They are also very narrow. I have to send them back.
It's more comfortable barefoot...

I could not enjoy my shoe because the were sent to me worn already. Someone must have returned them after wearing them multiple times. So I can’t really and truly review the shoe. The representative that I did speak to did give me a complete refund though. Thank you Zappos for that. Customer service was good.

Shoe ran a full size too big. Insole lasted less than a week before it started peeling up. I don't plan on ever buying Sk8 hi's again. Still love Vans just not this model!
