Where's The Beef?
I've always loved this shoe. It's all I wore back in the day, and I was stoked to find such a great selection of the shoe on Zappos. I purchased the Red Mahogany Sk8-Hi. I love the look and feel of the shoe, but was disappointed in the fact it was
100% canvas. Back in the day there was some leather on these shoes.
I'd also recommend:
No one make a skate high top better than Van's.

This here sneaker is great for walking, funny, some shoes actually bother my feet till they "break in" not the case here, so I'll recommend this one for people who don't want to waste time...

I wear these at work, the padding is sub-par and they make my feet hurt. They need the cushion some of the other styles have.

The white looks nice and the shoe is comfortable. But after 1 month of owning, they yellowed. And the canvas material absorbs dirt like a sponge.

Fit like the rest of my high top vans which I always size up half size to an 8. Did not like the “leather”? Lining around the collar inside. There is no cushioning like I was hoping for like my comfy cush sk8 high tops from 2 years ago. So sad they discontinued comfy cush. Was a lightweight shoe and more comfy.

Initial impression we're good. I saw another review say these are good for a more narrow foot and I agree with that observation. Fit and finish seems good. These are getting a mark down from me because I want to swap out the insoles for a different ones and the original insoles are glued in ans I can't get them out with destroying the shoe. Like WTF, people like different insole, Vans.

Vans SK8-Hi core classics are true to length but have no arch support. They are thin and have little padding around the ankles.

Solid shoe but dear god they are difficult to put on. Takes everything I've got to put my foot in. Invest in a shoe horn if you get these.

Should have been a 5 star review. Because the shoe is nice came in good condition and fits like a glove but when I went to re-lace I noticed that it had two different sized laces. Not a big problem but kind of in inconvenience I shouldn't have to deal with because now I have to go fined a new pair of laces that are the same sizs

Super Cute shoes. Wish they were clean to start. Not worth the time or $ shipping them back. Laces had oil marks on them and sole was dirty.

I've been wearing vans since high school and maybe it's me, but they are so uncomfortable now! One 8 hour shift in these and my feet hurt so bad! The comfy cush soles are better, but I don't understand why vans insists on selling the uncomfortable version as well. How do people even skate in these? Skate shoes are designed to absorb shock. Not these bad boys.

The new style is eh, I can't wear them anymore because of the way the leather curves down the side is uncomfortable, I personally also feel it looks kinda weird and the extra stitching on the toe of the shoe seems unnecessary. At least they still feel quality, better than converse for sure. I miss the old style for both brands. I, unfortunately, won't be buying them again, but if you can stand how they fit and, unlike me, don't think they look bulky and kinda dumb, they'll probably last you a nice long time.

I got these shoes for my boyfriend, they look great, but offer ZERO support. The bottoms are completely flat and uncomfortable, he will need insoles.
