I saw JR Smith wear these in the Cavs victory parade and knew I had to have them. They put a smile on my face every time I wear them.

These are great shoes that are comfortable and stylish. The only issue is that wearing light blue jeans with them turned the laces green.

I wear 8 1/2 and that's what I ordered. They fit great and look great but they do rub a couple of places on my foot and I wear thurlos which are fairly thick socks.

Very simple, stylish shoe for the spring/summer. Great price! Quick delivery. Can't go wrong with these vans from Zappos!

I have a messed up foot, so finding shoes is a problem. I've had good luck with skate shoes, though I can't and never could skate. That said: One of the best size-fits I've had. I'm pleased overall, with good comfort and support. I'm not thrilled with some construction (tongue in particular looks kind of thrown together), but I anticipate good wear from them.

I purchased these for my daughter, and she loves them. This is the first pair of high top shoes she has ever had, and stated it took getting used to, but she said they were comfortable on her feet, & she loves the style.

Great shoes, exactly as expected. These new Vans have a great build quality. I wish they had better arch support but I knew what they were when I ordered. Overall great looking functional skateshoes.

Comments and compliments on a Classics. These skate shoes feel good and better with Miracle Molding Insoles. Just a reminder, if you consider implementing Miracle Molding Insoles in these classics, consider ordering your normal size on narrower shoes because of the space these insoles take or maybe a half size bigger, moving a half or full size lower will cramp your feet, especially the toes.

Awesome!!!! I think these shoes are awesome, but don't give up if they aren't that comfortable at the start, they do break in in a few days. They skate pretty well. I've had them for a week, and the only signs of wear are on the left shoe which is a little rubber wear that’s it. Now stop reading and buy them!!!!!

Vans SK8-Hi are very hard to find, especially suede. Zappos has the most and hopefully they will get the red ones in one day. They really do fit 1/2 size larger. They are comfortable and warm and the rain and snow doesn’t bother them much either.

Move over Converse - BEST alternative to Converse shoes. Great looking and good for lounging/short walks. Don't plan to skate comfortably in these though. And they fit like Converse, order a half size smaller TRUST ME. I'M NOT LYING. I wear size 14 and I even got 13's that fit PERFECTLY.

The Truth Behind The Shoe - I’ve been skating this shoe for a little bit over a month. I have two little holes on the side of the shoe. The bottom grip is running out and on the bottom heels the grip already has holes. You also are going to have to buy new soles because when you’re skating and ball it hurts your feet. The good think about the shoe is when you tie it to the top holes it’s almost impossible to roll your ankle. If I had the chance to buy them again I would, so don’t hesitate go for it.

Nice but not for walking much - These are really good looking shoes, but have zero support - if possible, even less than Chucks. Still, with the addition of Dr. Scholl's inserts, they feel fine.

Great skate shoe for people that like the feel of the hi-top ankle support. This is an old-school skate shoe and does not have the padded feel of more modern skate shoes like Etnies, DCshoes, or IPath. This shoe does mold to your foot due to the lace pattern and has great grip while skating. The style is 100% Vans and makes a statement when you were them.

IDK - There great for skating. However, they are slightly uncomfortable in the front where the two fabrics meet. They look awsome. All my friends like them.

IF they were as comfortable as they look ... Beautiful shoes, eye catchers and not so comfortable. All though i love them, they are a bit uncomfortable, in the front of the shoe, the space given is too little which means that your toes get squashed. If you wear them for a full day you can easily get be sore. But once again I repeat, they are beautiful.

Sk8 Hi a blast from the past - This shoe is comforatable and looks great. I get compliments on it quite a lot. Although the problem with this shoe is that it is the only one I buy so people don't notice when I get new shoes. The reason this is the only high top I buy is simple. It is the best quality at the most reasonable price I have ever found. I am harsh on shoes with my life style and size 13 feet, but these shoes go the distance with me. When they do wear on the bottoms, after a couple of months for me, they wear evenly so they don't throw my stride off at all. I have had problems with laces breaking but other than that the shoe stays perfectly in tact even when it is used and abused on a regular basis.

Great name for a shoe - If you like pool coping and smith grinds...you've probably worn plenty of these shoes. Now with an ollie patch! Not the most durable skate shoe out there but who cares...waffle soles rule. No-comply away!

Where's The Beef? I've always loved this shoe. It's all I wore back in the day, and I was stoked to find such a great selection of the shoe on Zappos. I purchased the Red Mahogany Sk8-Hi. I love the look and feel of the shoe, but was disappointed in the fact it was 100% canvas. Back in the day there was some leather on these shoes.

Kool shu - This here sneaker is great for walking, funny, some shoes actually bother my feet till they "break in" not the case here, so I'll recommend this one for people who don't want to waste time...
